decided to check out this place right after the lockdowns were lifted, the libarrel, read some great reviews about the place, food, ambience and hookah.

so, checked in for lunch and i was very much disappointed about the menu as it was restricted as they have just opened it post lockdown, but it was understandable. the service however was pathetic, this was one of the resto's where i had to spent more time waiting for the food than rather enjoying it. food was mediocre, as they haven't got the full menu, so nothing much to explore.

the place however was lively and the hookah too was ok.

this is a long pending review but i think i need to post it. i went to this place to listen to my friend playing music and i met my old friend there who was celebrating her birthday. i went to her wished her and i was talking to her when the manager came to me and said the girl i was talking to is his gf and asked me not to talk to her. i was cool with it and told him she is just a friend and i’m just saying hi after a long time. when i was about to leave she asked me to sit with her group of friends till they left too. this manager sashi who was drunk and looking at this from a long distance was abusing me which i cud hear so i went and asked him how can u talk to me like tat and he said this is my club and asked the bouncers to throw me out. i did not behave anyway inappropriatly with this girl, she is a good friend and when i asked her she said the manager is also just a friend and nothing more than that. however it is, this is not a manager of the property behaves to its customers. he was totally drunk and used all kinds of words on me. i have nothing towards this place and i like the place but i’m never going back again if this is how a customer is going to be treated by the manager. hope bars open soon.

i went to this place on saturday night and it was packed. their mocktails are too good but food portion is not satisfactory. i ordered veg alfredo pasta and it wasn't good. they serve soup as well and that tasted really good. overall place is good to go on weekend.

it was my first time there, liked the music. food could have been better is what i felt and the beer mugs are very strange. they were thin and long, quite uncomfortable; requested for the usual ones, they didn't have. network is super weak inside so they'll help you with the wifi. the smoking room is quite small, gets crowded easily.

libarrel is one of the unique restrobars that's located at mylapore and i would say it's one of the hotspot for good quality food. it offers multi cuisine dishes, mocktails and also cocktails. their ambience and service was fab maintaining their professionalism in every aspect. their interiors are beautiful especially the lights. i personally love dim lights in restaurants so i loved the place completely. the restaurant definitely excels in every aspect from quality, quantity, and even to the nominal pricing of each dish. every dish has a special flavour and it's definitely special in it's own way. it has become one of my favourite spots to eat and i plan on visiting here often. all in all its an excellent place for for every cocktail and foodie combined.

pizzas are a must try at this lovely place with great ambience. absolutely loved it. lovely music and pretty much lively place. loved their fusion dishes too and their momos.

peri peri fries , wings and cheese tikka were the highlights. pizza was average.

the owner itself is a racist. he denied to put a tamil song requested by a customer just because he owns the place and says its his standard. guess what, you're serving customers not your friends, you're running a restro bar its not your house and moreover its in chennai. learn to adopt especially in this kind of business where you serve customers.

libarel is an excellent place to chill and relax.

it's a multi store resto bar and one place store for everything. be it partying or relaxing.

ambience and decor is very good.

roof top seating area has good breeze in evening times.

service is top notch.
mr. ramesh is very courteous and professional.

place is little small but always have had a nice experience here. make reservations in advance as place is small and have limited seating.

nice place to chill with hookah and beer. the rooftop is a big plus. place located in not so happening area but worth a visit
