libarrel : meaning open to new ideas, the name perfectly goes with the newly opened resto bar in mylapore. it's a 3 floor building with a sports themed restaurant, a proper resto bar and a rooftop lounge as well. this place has my heart.
we had a wide range of starters were each and every dish is to be specially mentioned for it's consistency, flavour, taste and it's presentation.

"paella arancinni"
they are spanish starters that are rice balls stuffed with minced vegetables and are fried until crisp and golden on the outside. it was cooked to perfection and presented in such a way that made me drool for it.

"dukkah ke paneer"
it was just amazinggg to every bite i had with it's tangy and juicy flavour. the paneer was also well cooked and very very tender and soft.

"land pulled pork melts"
it was one of the best pork dishes i've had. the pork is so juicy and you can taste it's essence in your tongue when you take every bite of this delicious treat. if you're a pork lover, this is a dish that you cannot miss!

"arabic mezze platter"
all that i can say is it's one of my favorites from this place. i haven't tried much of mezze platter but the moment i had it here, i wanted to explore a lot of it.

"mushroom krathramphir"
i ain't a person who liked mushroom that much but this place proved me wrong and made me indulge in love with it.

"cheese tikka"
all that you have to know is it's highly cheeeesyyyy and highly recommended one from my side.

the chickenfry, beef fry, era molagu was cooked so well and presented in such a way that you have no comments over it other than filling it in your tummy and drooling over it all over again.

coming to their main course, i loved their pizzassssss. it was so crisp and handcrafted so well and rightly served hot and made me crave for it badlyyyy. the chicken bryani was just my bae. and the chilli chicken was yum yum and that's it. the noodles, fried rice and cauliflower hot garlic were made in such a way that i was too full and didn't have the space to have any desserts.

coming to my favorite part of all, the cocktails.
damnnnnn, one of the best! it's definitely going to be my regular go to place for it.
"old hat" i would definitely without a second thought will claim it as my favorite cocktails i've ever had.
"pina colada" having tried it in quite a few places, i didn't find it any special but loved it.
"expresso martini" i never knew a coffee based cocktail would taste this good. when they suggested me for it, trsut me i expected it to be bitter and not my type. but i was wrong, it was just mind blowing.
also "wake up and "punk" were extremely great and all that i had was greatfoodwith great cocktails. my only regret was that i couldn't try their desserts as my tummy didn't have a space for it. will definitely make it soon there to try them too.
be it the service, presentation, food, cocktails,worth for the money , it was top notch and i would personally recommend the cocktail lovers to try them. you'll never be dissapointed and it's a fact.

libarrel - three-floored restobar that has recently opened up in the bylanes of mylapore in chennai. we went to the lounge #pub on the second floor which had a whole wood and barrel theme going on. they also have a csk-themed sports diner on the first floor and a rooftop restaurant on the third. .
greatfoodoptions - for starters we had the paella arancini and the mezze platter while for main course we had the paneer tikka masala pizza. we loved both the appetizers with the pita bread being the favorite of the majority. presentation of the dishes was nicely done as well. flavors were spot on and so was the service!.

since it’s fairly new, there wasn’t too much crowd but guessing this place is bound to pick up in the coming months!

there was literally only 10 items in thefoodmenu. they don't have even the draft beer on stock. the pepperoni pizza was so boring and had nothing but cheese and 6 slices of pepperoni on it, the crust was so thin i felt like nachos more than pizza.

extremely terriblefoodand drinks. thefoodwas under cooked, utterly upsetting. please don't order dood here.

decided to check out this place right after the lockdowns were lifted, the libarrel, read some great reviews about the place, food, ambience and hookah.

so, checked in for lunch and i was very much disappointed about the menu as it was restricted as they have just opened it post lockdown, but it was understandable. the service however was pathetic, this was one of the resto's where i had to spent more time waiting for thefoodthan rather enjoying it.foodwas mediocre, as they haven't got the full menu, so nothing much to explore.

the place however was lively and the hookah too was ok.

i went to this place on saturday night and it was packed. their mocktails are too good butfoodportion is not satisfactory. i ordered veg alfredo pasta and it wasn't good. they serve soup as well and that tasted really good. overall place is good to go on weekend.

it was my first time there, liked the music.foodcould have been better is what i felt and the beer mugs are very strange. they were thin and long, quite uncomfortable; requested for the usual ones, they didn't have. network is super weak inside so they'll help you with the wifi. the smoking room is quite small, gets crowded easily.

went to the roof top and the waiters looked like they were not interested to serve what we ask. if they are disinterested to serve customers there is no point to come here again. they were totally busy in their mobiles even when there were 50% occupancy on a sunday evening. rude service. apart from thisfoodand drinks were decent.

a good place to hang out with friends, they have various floors for various kinds of settings. i personally loved the roof top setting. the prices are good and affordable. the beer is good and thefoodalso is decent.

li barrel has been my go to place for a while. this is a perfect place to chill with drinks and good food. mr.shashi- the manager there always warmly welcomes us with a smile and makes sure we are comfortable. thefoodis so tasty and well priced. my personal favourites is chicken tikka, cheese garlic bread, gosht briyani, paneer nuggets and pizzas.
my special thanks to mr. raison one of the staff there, who brought the drinks to the table even without ordering, this shows how well the staff knows their customers, which is very important in the hospitality industry. like yesterday me and my folks just entered and sat on the table and the menu was served and within a while the drinks were served, n i was like i have not ordered yet. n mr. raison got everything right. i was so pleased with the service offered by him and it broght all smiles in mine and my folks face. definitely going back to this place more often now. thanks to mr.shashi and all other staff there too for the wonderful hospitality.

must visit! excellent service and top notch food. the rooftop ambience is unmatched, it's one of my favourite places to go to. the waiters and bartenders are super efficient and make good quality drinks and recommend new things to try. bothfoodand drinks are reasonably priced and are top quality! would recommend everyone to check this place out.
