went into thisplacefor a saturday lunch with the boiiis
the staff seem to be attentive for the other customers and not for us.
we got ourselves a hookah pan kiwi 🥝
and a peri peri french fries to start off but less did i know that the service was bad and no response from them either. i ordered for a draught beer the staff wasn’t aware of what it was and kept asking me 😂 what’s that.
seri vidu, left it and asked to get us another peri peri fries .. the first order came in 10 mins the next one even after 30 mins it never came and they’d seem to have forgotten the
order 🤣 damnnn!!

fries were good tho .. can give more mayo and more peri peri powder
as for hookah .. less smoke 💨 small pieces of coal 🥲 go for big ones yaaar 😉

theplaceis fantastic with its ambience to its surrounding
with their own barreled themes. it's a greatplaceto have a hang with friends for a drink. their staff is helpful and efficient at their services. their cocktails are a exceptionally wonderfull especially the expresso martini and negroni. as a beef lover myself i really enjoyed the dish steak n ale it was beautifully done and served , their dish syrian beef fry is another dish for the hardcore beef lovers as it was as beefy as it should be with the right taste. i would highly recommend thisplacefor their drinks and food.

libarrel : meaning open to new ideas, the name perfectly goes with the newly opened resto bar in mylapore. it's a 3 floor building with a sports themed restaurant, a proper resto bar and a rooftop lounge as well. thisplacehas my heart.
we had a wide range of starters were each and every dish is to be specially mentioned for it's consistency, flavour, taste and it's presentation.

"paella arancinni"
they are spanish starters that are rice balls stuffed with minced vegetables and are fried until crisp and golden on the outside. it was cooked to perfection and presented in such a way that made me drool for it.

"dukkah ke paneer"
it was just amazinggg to every bite i had with it's tangy and juicy flavour. the paneer was also well cooked and very very tender and soft.

"land pulled pork melts"
it was one of the best pork dishes i've had. the pork is so juicy and you can taste it's essence in your tongue when you take every bite of this delicious treat. if you're a pork lover, this is a dish that you cannot miss!

"arabic mezze platter"
all that i can say is it's one of my favorites from this place. i haven't tried much of mezze platter but the moment i had it here, i wanted to explore a lot of it.

"mushroom krathramphir"
i ain't a person who liked mushroom that much but thisplaceproved me wrong and made me indulge in love with it.

"cheese tikka"
all that you have to know is it's highly cheeeesyyyy and highly recommended one from my side.

the chickenfry, beef fry, era molagu was cooked so well and presented in such a way that you have no comments over it other than filling it in your tummy and drooling over it all over again.

coming to their main course, i loved their pizzassssss. it was so crisp and handcrafted so well and rightly served hot and made me crave for it badlyyyy. the chicken bryani was just my bae. and the chilli chicken was yum yum and that's it. the noodles, fried rice and cauliflower hot garlic were made in such a way that i was too full and didn't have the space to have any desserts.

coming to my favorite part of all, the cocktails.
damnnnnn, one of the best! it's definitely going to be my regular go toplacefor it.
"old hat" i would definitely without a second thought will claim it as my favorite cocktails i've ever had.
"pina colada" having tried it in quite a few places, i didn't find it any special but loved it.
"expresso martini" i never knew a coffee based cocktail would taste this good. when they suggested me for it, trsut me i expected it to be bitter and not my type. but i was wrong, it was just mind blowing.
also "wake up and "punk" were extremely great and all that i had was great food with great cocktails. my only regret was that i couldn't try their desserts as my tummy didn't have a space for it. will definitely make it soon there to try them too.
be it the service, presentation, food, cocktails,worth for the money , it was top notch and i would personally recommend the cocktail lovers to try them. you'll never be dissapointed and it's a fact.

libarrel - three-floored restobar that has recently opened up in the bylanes of mylapore in chennai. we went to the lounge #pub on the second floor which had a whole wood and barrel theme going on. they also have a csk-themed sports diner on the first floor and a rooftop restaurant on the third. .
great food options - for starters we had the paella arancini and the mezze platter while for main course we had the paneer tikka masala pizza. we loved both the appetizers with the pita bread being the favorite of the majority. presentation of the dishes was nicely done as well. flavors were spot on and so was the service!.

since it’s fairly new, there wasn’t too much crowd but guessing thisplaceis bound to pick up in the coming months!

came for a short vacation and was looking for bestplaceto hang out with friends get together.
though chennai wont surprises for best and innovative themed night life places.

location : mylapore - when saying night life and hearing people say its in mylapore where even night glows as daylight.
felt crazy though..

but once we go there got ample plans for parkings and easy access at main.

ambience : been to many clubs and resto bars but was impressed with their interiors.
extra ordinary work of art and paintings.

they have both rooftop and enclosed so relax as you wish.

you can think about a saying
dont judge the book by its cover.

crowd : yes well decent crowd and suggested for couples too.

drinks : heard mr.sasi look alike kholi the operation head has a strong base from hi reputed clubs in dubai and he has some innovative menus in hand.
extra plusssssssss for thisplaceand must for a competitive business in the market.

service : from bouncers - bar waiters - bartenders - managers all did there best and courteous.

music : good one but suggestion they must have different nights for different genre.

overall i had a good evening and for sure will suggest my friends.

i've been coming to thisplacefor years now. their rooftop is excellent, especially during the quiter hours. goodplaceto watch cricket matches on big screen. service is good, but often slow. i'd recommend the mojitos, peri peri fries and the pizzas.

heard some good reviews about theplacebut totally disappointed. more than 80% of the items in menu very not available.

decided to check out thisplaceright after the lockdowns were lifted, the libarrel, read some great reviews about the place, food, ambience and hookah.

so, checked in for lunch and i was very much disappointed about the menu as it was restricted as they have just opened it post lockdown, but it was understandable. the service however was pathetic, this was one of the resto's where i had to spent more time waiting for the food than rather enjoying it. food was mediocre, as they haven't got the full menu, so nothing much to explore.

this is a long pending review but i think i need to post it. i went to thisplaceto listen to my friend playing music and i met my old friend there who was celebrating her birthday. i went to her wished her and i was talking to her when the manager came to me and said the girl i was talking to is his gf and asked me not to talk to her. i was cool with it and told him she is just a friend and i’m just saying hi after a long time. when i was about to leave she asked me to sit with her group of friends till they left too. this manager sashi who was drunk and looking at this from a long distance was abusing me which i cud hear so i went and asked him how can u talk to me like tat and he said this is my club and asked the bouncers to throw me out. i did not behave anyway inappropriatly with this girl, she is a good friend and when i asked her she said the manager is also just a friend and nothing more than that. however it is, this is not a manager of the property behaves to its customers. he was totally drunk and used all kinds of words on me. i have nothing towards thisplaceand i like theplacebut i’m never going back again if this is how a customer is going to be treated by the manager. hope bars open soon.

i went to thisplaceon saturday night and it was packed. their mocktails are too good but food portion is not satisfactory. i ordered veg alfredo pasta and it wasn't good. they serve soup as well and that tasted really good. overallplaceis good to go on weekend.

libarrel is one of the unique restrobars that's located at mylapore and i would say it's one of the hotspot for good quality food. it offers multi cuisine dishes, mocktails and also cocktails. their ambience and service was fab maintaining their professionalism in every aspect. their interiors are beautiful especially the lights. i personally love dim lights in restaurants so i loved theplacecompletely. the restaurant definitely excels in every aspect from quality, quantity, and even to the nominal pricing of each dish. every dish has a special flavour and it's definitely special in it's own way. it has become one of my favourite spots to eat and i plan on visiting here often. all in all its an excellentplacefor for every cocktail and foodie combined.

pizzas are a must try at this lovelyplacewith great ambience. absolutely loved it. lovely music and pretty much lively place. loved their fusion dishes too and their momos.

the owner itself is a racist. he denied to put a tamil song requested by a customer just because he owns theplaceand says its his standard. guess what, you're serving customers not your friends, you're running a restro bar its not your house and moreover its in chennai. learn to adopt especially in this kind of business where you serve customers.
