this restaurant is one of my favourites in montreal for so many reasons. they have a great patio, a superb late-night prix fixe (after 10pm) menu that is definitely worth your money, and the food tastes delicious as well. my husband and i came much earlier than our opentable reservation (arrived at 10pm because we had time left over when our reservation was at 10:45pm) and we asked if there was any space for us even though we were too early. the host seated us at 10pm much to our surprise and we ended up having a great night with excellent service and food. we will definitely be back especially for theirlatenight prix fixe and their french toast dessert! it's the best!!

good deal after 10pm !. my boyfriend and i went to experiment leaméac menu after 10pm ! wow, the food was delicious and the service good. it was busy even thatlatebecause of the menu entree + meal for only 27$ ! i recommend it, i'll be back there for sure.

respit. after a long day of hunting for apartments i was walking down the sidewalk and spotted leméac. it was bustling with activity and i was frazzled. when i went in the host asked if i wanted a table and i said i was having a rough day, "sit me where you would sit."

moments later i was on a sunny patio with water and bread surrounded by a mix people as diverse as the sidewalk outside. well dresses ladies andlate20s and early 30s hipsters relaxing, eating, and drinking.

my request to the waitress was a glass of something delicious and whatever on the menu was her favorite. she brought me sancerre and i almost fell in love with her and the wine. then the house smoked salmon brought some respect to this often created and seldom perfected dish and made me incredibly happy i had wondered in.

if you're having a difficult day, leméac can put a smile on your face.

being overly ambitious, i planned dinner at lemeac for 10pm to take full advantage of theirlatenight menu. what i didn’t anticipate was my stomach not cooperating. the combination of an early brunch, afternoon drinking and then thelatedinner left my tummy a little unbalanced. sadly, this meant i wasn’t able to fully enjoy the lemeac experience, but next time i’ll be back for brunch.

excellent wine list. when judging variety and price. one of the best restaurants in montreal for a great atmosphere, excellent food and service and a varied and realistically priced wine list. if you know what to look out for there are some real bargains (relatively speaking). superb brunch spot on the terrace in the summer! i'm silly for not timing my agenda better to take advantage of thelateevening sitting. that's about to change. highly recommended to anyone living/visiting montreal. one of the very best.

excellent location. classic decor, friendly semi-formal service. traditional and non-traditional meals that lean towards french and mediterranean cuisine. great terrasse. excellent for a business lunch, brunch with friends orlatenight dinner.

bestlatemenu in town. i have been to this restaurant many times. i always go after 10, since they offer alatemenu special which includes an appetizer and an antree for $25. thelatemenu features many of their regular menu items which can usually cost you up to twice that amount. the food is always of the highest quality and service is friendly and knowledgeable. i especially like their braised beef short ribs served with barley, the meat falls of the bone and the portion is quite generous, however i have never tried anything there which i did not like. if you go, make sure you save some room for dessert, as they are one of the best places in town for deserts.

delicious, fresh, local 'boufe bistro' and great service!. a very nice, parisian-chic bistro serving traditional french dishes along with more creative meals to tend to foodie hipsters. dishes are hot, well-seasoned and the atmosphere is light and cheery. you'll just want to keep coming back again and again! the terasse is especially beautiful for thoselatenight dinners during the summer.

i looooovvvvveeee it. great breakfast, gret lunch and great dinner. even betterlatenight when see the prices!!

the salmon tartar is the best in montreal.

if you are from out of town, i would definatley go, it's yummy, fun and fabulous

late night miam. menu 22 a 22 est en en fait 25 à 22 mais bon.
still super worth it.
do not get the green salad as an appetizer, not that its bad, its just mixed greens with olive oil and balsamic, nothing scrumptious. the salmon tartare is on the other hand divine served with yummy super thin crispy fries or salad (same as the entrée salad)
there are quite a few interesting items on thelatenight menu and the price is right.
i will be back!

this was our second time visiting lemeac & the food lived up to its reputation. we visit montreal yearly so we were pleased to see the food was just as wonderful a year later. the snails appetizer is a must-have and is one of the best things i ate during our entire trip. the snails were cooked perfectly. also, my boyfriend had the beef tartare which was perfectly prepared. the texture was great and it was nicely acidic with high quality beef. you cannot go wrong with it'slatenight menu that starts after 10. the service while attentive and competent, was average. we will be definitely be back next year!

nothing special.... location is great. as far as food, (even when it's cheaperlatenigh) is not a big deal.
regular, really basic tartare, a soup that taste "habitant", no complexity, nothing new, everything plain...
just good looking people pretending they are having great dinner. if you like food more than trends, don't waste yout time there!
