after 10 pm anybody?. had dinner after 10 pm and enjoyed their discounted menu. if you haven't tried the restaurant this is the perfect time to do it. had the steak tartar with home cut fries...amazing!! the shortened menu is still diverse enough to satisfy any pallet. the wine list is extensive and has a good amount of private imports. will be going back soon

our mains of roasted duck breast and roasted rack of lamb restored my temporary loss of faith. both were cooked exceptionally well. the duck was moist and succulent, especially since the skin was left on which only further emphasized the richness of the dish. the lamb was tender, juicy, seasoned perfectly and fell off the bone the moment i put my fork to it. one of the most beautifully cooked lamb dishes i’ve had.

i took my stunningly gorgeous date to leméac for a kinda sorta romantic lunch… (d'awww shut up.) we were seated at the bar with the rest of the unprepared who didn't have reservations; the place is happening at lunch time, and even at that, i'm surprised we were able to snag seats a

over rated!. i used to go to leméac a lot, back when the after 22h menu was still 22$ for the 3 courses, and the food used to be very good. lately, i feel like the food is not so good anymore and the place has gone overrated. last few times i've been, i found the food to be very normal. the calamari appetizer was too salty and my chicken was tasteless! the only thing i liked was the desert : the pain perdu. and that's because it's just bread with syrup on top.

leméac is similar to the montreal classic l'expresse in that they are both french bistro type restaurants serving excellent fare for reasonable prices. leméac is a little less stuffy in terms of atmosphere and just as classy. it also has a great terrasse that is open air in the summertime and equipped with heated lamps for the colder days of winter. we went for the after ten menu where you get an entrée and a main for $25 (such an amazing steal) and you would be surprised at how generous the offerings are and how much variety there is to choose from! we had the escargot ragout with portabello tomatoes, tomatoes and a basil-butter foam and the calamari and zucchinis to start. the escargot i've had before and i find it delicious every time. don't worry, you get your fair share of snails - they're not stingy with it - and you get some mini noodles as well. the green foam is a nice touch too. the calamari was plentif

worth it after 22h. if you didn't know the trick, now you will! go to the place after 22h so you can get a starter + main for 22$. it's really worth it. my favs are the escargots en entrée and for the main, the caille is amazing! i've tried many plates, but these are the best. enjoy! ps. it's noisy and to bright, even if it's late.

late night miam. menu 22 a 22 est en en fait 25 à 22 mais bon.
still super worth it.
do not get the green salad as an appetizer, not that its bad, its just mixed greens with olive oil and balsamic, nothing scrumptious. the salmon tartare is on the other hand divine served with yummy super thin crispy fries or salad (same as the entrée salad)
there are quite a few interesting items on the late night menu and the price is right.
i will be back!
