went to lavonne for my birthday breakfast and absolutely loved it ♥️
all of us ordered a grilled sandwich with fresh juices and banana smoothie. and not a single one of us disliked it. the staff were courteous , the ambience was amazing and the presentation was impeccable. we were so full from a single sandwich and a juice that we didn’t get to try their famous sourdough and desserts.
will definitely go back again to try those and update this review 🐣

i love the quality of their breads and pasties.

best patisserie and boulangerie in bangalore. pastries are not too sweet and my favourite item on the menu is kerala onion croissant. coffee, iced tea, smoothies, juices etc are all good but the shakes are quite sweet. smoothie bowls and pasta is average.new pastry menu every 6 months which is great cause i’ve tried all the items from the past 1 year.

also, the best front of house team i’ve come across. their teamwork is amazing.

nice and cosy place for breakfast/ brunch. desserts and pain du chocolate are scrumptious. their marshmallow hot chocolate is to die for.

pathetic! was denied a refund as well from zomato. (writing review in dining because delivery is not an option)

the choclate was not hot so slightly dissappointed

things i loved about the place:
1. ambiance is just so soothing. you can spend an entire day here!
2. presentation of food is just beautiful and it tastes great too!
3. staff is busy but very courteous! help pick the best dishes on the menu :)

the baguette might as well have been carved from stone. ridiculously hard and tasteless!

first, when we called for reservations the person at reservations said he can’t guarantee a seat very arrogantly and when we went it was empty
second, i ordered an agli olio which took 20-25 minutes to come which is okay but it was raw (not al dante), raw and while the taste was good but sadly i got stomach infection from the food.

it used to be good but there the service is a little arrogant which really is a not a good experience.

the food was amazing but the customer service was terrible .. been waiting to try out this place for ages.. hard to go back.

waited for 40 minutes and then kept giving away tables to people walking in after us. there is no proper management, so had to walk out. disappointing!

please refund amount for the pastry as it has arrived in very damaged state

i've been to this cafe many times. my wife and i particularly enjoy the food and we always let go of the poor service. most times we have to repeatedly ask for water, proper cutlery etc. it's surprising how they only focus on food and not on over all customer experience.
today we went for our breakfast and while our avocado on toast was great, we had the strangest experience when we ordered pancakes.
i asked for plain pancakes with maple syrup & cream on the side. to that the lady taking the order said you still have to pay the full price.... we said of course.. we are being specific so we don't waste other topings. we said we have order this many times for the past 3 years. she then said "and it's pancake syrup and not maple syrup". we said it's always maple syrup.. she said no its pancake syrup. we said no problem we are okay with that syrup... she repeated again "and it's pancake syrup". we just felt extremely insulted.
i said it's okay, we won't have that, you can get us our cheque. i then went to the billing counter to ask why today ordering pancakes is so difficult.... to that the gentleman said their batter went bad today and pancakes are not available. i said i am sorry and i went back to be table.
and when i turned evey table had pancakes :)

i told my wife that we must find a better place that gives a respectful experience to the customers.

it's a shame that this cafe even has an institute.

have you been a fan of charlie and the chocolate factory? well, i sometimes wish to dwell in that story!
whenever i step into this outlet i can think of nothing but how i am engulfed by the aromas of freshly baked breads and sweet confectionery. i also absolutely love the hot chocolate here and the chocolate eclairs. what a perfect place be it for dates or a casual evening with family!
