absolutely beautiful food in a stunning setting right by the water front. ronaldo came out to say hello and the rest of thestaffwere so lovely and attentive. perfect for a special night out! highly recommend!

excellent food and best view of story bridge, friendlystaffand manager, would be better if the restaurant can replace table and chairs, will come back again!

simply spectacular. i posted a review when they first opened last year. since then, i've dined several times again and organised work functions (one for 23 people) and each and every time everything has been amazing. the food, the service, the view, the wine! everything. brisbane needs to support this restaurant.. let friends know.. it seems a little out of the way but it really isn't.. the walk along the river is a great way to start the experience.. and the amazing food and service just ticks all the boxes. this really is a "must do".

absolutely brilliant. just opened (used to be venice café) and they've done a great job. we went for lunch there and there were five of us and had four different meals, and everyone was very impressed. really reasonable (my eye fillet was $28!!).. and you're right on the brisbane river with great views.staffwere super helpful. we will definitely be returning.

thanks to la vue, our wedding reception's food, service and ambiance was amazing. my partner and i choose to have our wedding reception at la vue for the stunning location on the brisbane river, excellent food and the relaxed and charming intimate restaurant atmosphere. la vue accommodated 50 or so of our friends and family and made our wedding day a truly amazing experience. kenny (manager) was excellent to deal with during the lead up to our event, they were accommodating with changes to guest numbers, seating arrangements and the menu. the restaurant set up was fantastic, the cake and table decorations featured well on the day against the stunning storey bridge as a back drop. our menu was elegant and we have received so many compliments on the quality and presentation of the food. to start we chose alternate drops of duck risotto or king prawns followed by chicken and mushroom ballottine or veal fillet.

the la vuestaffmade the overall dining experience fantastic. the ambiance, décor and service were of the highest standard, all food came out promptly and our event ran very close to our desired timing. our guests have given feedback that all the servers on the day were pleasant and attentive to our guests needs. la vue's wine and beverage list was extremely comprehensive and i had no issues choosing an excellent wide variety of wines for the day which our patrons thoroughly enjoyed.

we look forward to coming back to la vue for a meal when we next visit brisbane. we couldn't fault anything for our event, everything went perfectly. we highly recommend this restaurant for weddings or events as you won't be disappointed and we thank renaldo and his team for making our wedding on easter saturday the best day of our lives.

superlative service - wonderful food. we visited la vue on the 23rd of january and were very impressed with the level of service received. thestaffwere incredibly friendly and helpful and the food was fantastic. we definitely would go again.

perfect dining experience. from the moment my wife and i arrived we were shown incredible hospitality by knowledgeable and friendly staff. our table had a perfect view of the story bridge and the presentation of the restaurant was of the highest standard. each of our five courses were flawless and the wine was matched perfectly to suit. this was by far the best dining experience we've had in years, possibly ever. allstaffat la vue should be commended on their service, we have never been so well looked after.

excellentstaffwho were very knowledgable about the menu. they were extremely helpful when i spilt red wine all over my dress and quickly supplied me with soda water to minimise staining. this incident did not stop us from having a wonderful evening as thestaffensured it was all cleaned up and forgotten. the view of the story bridge was unparalleled and the food was exquisite. we will be going back for seconds!

best in brisbane!. best view, best food, best service, best atmosphere - what more could we have asked for. sitting at our table, the six of us had uninterrupted views of the ever-changing lights on the story bridge. the most comfortable chairs i've sat on in a restaurant for many years made the conversation easy and enjoyable and i think we may have overstayed our welcome, being the last to leave but thestaffwere still smiling.

the food was amazing, from the soup de jour, the scallops, the magnificent eye fillet, chicken and pork to name a few. our table tried a good mix of the menu and everyone was delighted with their choice. thank you to all at lavue for a fantastic night.

great service, great food & a great view. i recently held a private function at la vue for 80 people. all 80 of those people will tell you how great the service was, how accommodating thestaffwere and the spectacular view to top it off. the service was on time, your glass was always full and any small request was handled professionally and promptly. the food was incredible and the wine selection was broad, something for everyone. the managementstaffwere a pleasure to work with, i cannot thank them enough. i highly recommend this venue for any special occasion, you will surely be looked after.
