pizza at its simplest! this pizza embodies all that is the italian way of life . these guys lets the ingredients do the talking as well as their killer oven. salvatore pizza is my favorite and try the spaghetti pie, it's fantastic. the real gem has to be the cheesecake. you taste that and you will feel like you're in the big apple. feel free to let your guard down and splurge. you deserve it!

the best. went there for the first time the other night, thisplaceis truly wonderful. from the staff to the food. it's a mom and pop and it feels like one. i think everyone working there is family? the food was wonderful, i've never ever had pizza that good. we will surely be going back.

best of 2008 is worst of 2012. i went with friends to la piazza al forno because of all the reviews indicating it was the best of the best. however, after having the worst pizza and zeppolis ever, i noticed all the reviews that are good are from 2008. the prices were over the top for terrible food. if i judged italian food by what was served there i would never have italian food again. the zeppolis were pieces of deep fried bread rolls and the pizza was a piece of thin tasteless cardboard with an ounce of cheese and oil on it. the restaurant environment is dirty, drab, and uninviting. perhaps there is a new owner since 2008. i would never recommend thisplaceto anyone!

nice, reasonably priced family-style italian restaurant. definitely will be back. like a nice little neighborhoodplacewith good pizza and entrees. cappacinos and zeppolis were delish too. friendly and attentive service.

favoriteplacein the valley!. i absolutely love la piazza al forno. it is the bestplaceto eat in the valley. you have to try the chicken pesto lasagna. it is out of this world! oh, and the italian stallion pizza....omg!! great food, fantastic people (justin, dennis, rachel, saundra, anita)....can't say enough good about this place! i will be there as much as possible!

love the food. thisplacedoes it all. i usually go for pizza, it's the best but last week i took a friend and she ordered the chicken pesto lasagna so i took a bite, then 2 and 3 etc.. good stuff! would have never ordered it on my own so i guess i will have to try some other stuff.

never again. my wife read good reviews so we tried thisplacetonight. we arrived at 6:00 p.m., and put our names on the list. they told us that there would be an hour wait. that hour wait was spent standing on the sidewalk since they don't have any significant waiting area. an hour later we checked on our status, and they told us that it would be another 20 minutes. 30 minutes later we checked out status again. now the story was that they didn't really know when we could get in. my wife said that we really needed to know when we would be seated. they suggested that we should leave if we couldn't wait an unknown amount of time. i had been totally quiet for the entire hour and a half, but decided it was time to inform them that their treatment of customers was total bs. we then went a block down the street and had a nice mexican dinner. you couldn't pay me enough money to ever try la piazza again.

great food great atmosphere and great service. what more could you ask for. we saw thisplaceon ddd and decided to give it a try this weekend the pizza was great the family atmosphere made us feel like home and our waitress was friendly. she suggested the italian stallion, a pizza topped with different imported meats from italy. her suggestions were right on so when she suggested tiramisu for dessert we decided to take her up on it, again right on.

family friendly fun place. the pizza was wonderful, service was great. i would never have gone here had i not seen the episode on diners, drive-ins...but it's a funplaceto go with a group, or as a family.

motto bene. this is one of the best family owned restaurants that i have tried. it's located in historic downtown glendale and it reminds me of a restaurant that you would find in new york or new jersey and the food is just as good.

i feel lucky to have found thisplacethe dinners are suberb, i had rigatoni with peppers & sausage it was magnificent. i have also tried the pizza and there is none better in arizona. give thisplacea try, you will not be disappointed.
