love this authenic sauce, just like my nana made!!!. chicken lasagena was wonderful! best sauce i've had since dining out in "little italy", new york. try the cannoli...you'll love these homemade delights. i heard the sandwiches are to die for...just ike ny stacks!

good food. decent service. they tried brunch on mother's day, it was subpar. dinner is excellent though.

love. love la bottega! perfect on a sunny day when they open the patio..you can build your own sandwich with divine ingredients, soups are delicious! i have yet to try the pasta because i crave the sandwich everytime i go, thats what i get, but friends and family rave about the pasta dishes as well! super good salad.

la bottega while small, is quaint, inviting and warm. the wait staff was very pleasant and friendly. my only criticism like so many restaurants these days is usually hard chairs...just not enough cushion for the pushin. mind out of gutter please. i know restaurants don't want you tying up there table all night. but would a little padding kill ya?

anyway the food was excellent. we split the charcuterie plate(nice size), and split the caesar salad also excellent, fresh and not too much dressing. i did the wine tasting with dinner (3 delightful reds $14 if i recall) then i had a full glass of red from australia with my main course $14 as well. excellent wine slection. so i'm pushing almost $30 in drinks.
entrees: my wife had a delicious hanger steak w/ great flavor and very tender. the demi-glaze on the steak was outstanding! i had the shrimp about 6 nice large ones. cooked perfectly. and we finished off splitting the holiday pumpkin spice cake and two coffees...vg! ok she had a single bite of cake then i told her to get her own... kidding i shared. ok no i didn't, but i digress.
like high quality restrauants (and this is absolutely one of them) and particularly if you drink alcohol...why yes i do and i believe i will, with the tip per couple our meal was just over $120.00. for those of you who like to dine and eat good quality food. la bottega should definitely be on your list of places to go. i really give this restaurant 4.5 stars!

so i went here based on reviews. the interior is cozy and inviting. the staff smiled and greeted us. the menu was very eclectic. all i can say is wow. the food was absolutely amazing. they have a new regular customer. the only negative was our server, maybe he was having a bad night or he is just uptight all the time, i dont know. but the meal made it worth every dollar.

excellent dinner. what an enjoyable experience. the food starting with the gorgonzola cheesecake, which i'd highly recommend , was excellent and the service couldn't have been better. my wife enjoyed the smoked mushroom ravioli and i savored the amatriciana. i'd certainly recommend la bottega and will be back.

after walking around town looking at restaurants we picked bottega and what a delicious meal .
the atmosphere is welcoming as is the wait staff. we discussed business enjoyed the company and never felt hurried nor neglected.
if i am in vancouver again i will go back.

the food was out of this world delicious! everything portioned perfectly and seasoned to perfection. i would give my right arm for another bowl of the roasted red pepper soup. no room for dessert as you can see we were plenty stuffed. if the dessert is anything like the cuisine i’m sure they are amazing.

disappointing lamb. we have gone to la bottega for at least 3 years on a regular basis. it's one of our favorite places in vancouver. tonight i ordered the lamb and it was the worst lamb i've ever had out. it was very tough, under cooked, and lacked flavor. maybe it was a bad night, etc. the wine was good and my husband's chicken was good. we'll try again hoping it was a fluke.

so i didn't not like it but thought it was ok. dessert was really good. we're going 2 try lunch there someday. also the menu has changed from what's on their website.

i have been eating lunch there regularly and the las two times my food has not been prepared properly. we ordered sausages with our meal and they were way over cooked. please go back to making them the way they were a couple of months ago

great food. just ate the polenta and the best way to describe it is, "wow!". it was wonderful. the sausage was slightly spicy and paired nicely with the sweet tomato sauce! i will be back for sure!

great food and service. everytimr i am there it's a good experience. different items which keeps it interesting.
