favorite little spot in the couv. here for several weeks in vancouver on business - struggled to find some local, good eats. this place has cute, quaint charm. good service. great wine list that's not pretentious or imposing - just great variety and styles. food is amazing: pasta is fresh and authentic. reasonably priced. laid back, romantic setting. haven't purchased any items from the deli or pastry counters, but plan on it!!

my favorite restaurant in vancouver. a little on the spendy side. but by far the best spot in vancouver for a overall great evening out. wines are great, staff is great, food is great! worth every penny!

this was my third time at la bottega and i was hugely disappointed this time. the bread was frozen in the middle after our waitress had just told us it was fresh out of the oven. my penne alla vodka tasted like noodles with cheese and almost no sauce and for $15 was a tiny portion. the fall cake trio was dry and the frosting grainy. to top it off service was slow and not attentive. would not go back.

disappointed on birthday. have been here twice in past years, but last night was a big dissappointment. the panzanella salad was too salty & hard to eat as the bread was not in chunks, the anchovies in the caesar were very bony & too salty per my caeasar-saavy husband. his red sauce on the bucatini was awful, but the meatballs were tasty. my gnocchi was too salty, but the beef tips were tender. the kitchen was slow and we smelled smoke for awhile. the server was slow to fill our waters and visited while we waited for her to pick up our payment. we will not be returning and will drive all the way to portland to gilda's the next time we want good italian food.

great taste, a little pricey. you definitely pay a premium for the ambiance, but the food is great. we both had the mushroom and leek ravioli with balsamic cream sauce. the sauce was divine. that said, pasta is really cheap, the markup to eat some here is pretty steep. i love the oil and balsamic, it's a guilty pleasure even at home. also, good thing they serve it, you'll need it to become full.

terrible noodles, bought of the back of a sysco truck. my wine had been open for too long and was skunky. very, very disappointed. waiter shrugged his shoulders when i told him the wine was bad, and they still charged me for it.

i love this little place. the wine list is great. the sweet potato ravioli is delectable, & the salads image1.jpg fresh & delicious. i've never had better grilled chicken.

my favorite restaurant!. everything is fresh and made from scratch here!! some of the best salads, soups, pastas and cuts of meat you will find. the wine selection is superb and stretches beyond the mainstream. the staff is friendly and super accomodating and the owners are two top notch people!! there are so few decent independent eateries in vancouver! this is one of the few of those few that should truly be celebrated!

very nice dinner-outside or in. wait staff were very helpful with expansive wine list. you can eat like royalty on their appetizer s alone. it's very nice to have another top-notch restaurant in vanxouver usa.

excellent. we have enjoyed this restaurant since it opened. service has always been great. wonderful selection of wine and beer and reasonable prices. enjoyable atmosphere with some outside dining during warm weather. entrées and sandwiches always good. they even have smaller portions at reduced prices for those with small appetites. certainly one of the best on the westside of vancouver.

excellent meal had appetizer, salad marinated skirt steak and dessert. all were excellent and so was the wine. planon making it a regular spot. would encourage you to try it!

la bottege. looking forward to returning to this busy, local gem of a restaurant. try the mushroom soup made from scratch. i thinks the ambiance is as good as the food. cheers.

great food!!. la bottega was excellent. the filet mignon wrapped in bacon was great! great beer and wine selection.
sevice was outstanding.
