it was a quick iftar with kuzbara but we did enjoy it. i love fish and salad. chicken and lamb is delicious. it was jam packed. hope to comebacksoon.

this review is for their bbq and hops night

good value for those who wants to feast on seafood, meat and beer ... more so if you have a coupon or entertainer

not a big spread but they make the effort with each sections. the highlight is their live bbq station (quite a huge selection of meat and seafood) and their dessert station. rest is quite the standard

ambience is "meh" unless you like the all day dining hotel breakfast setting

alcohol package comes with selection of beer and red/ white sangria only ... no wine or house pours package options for those who fancy neither ...

i am most disappointed by their grilled lobster. the lobster meat was stale and had an unappetizing after taste .. had half and didn't feel like finishing the rest ... it's not that it's overdone but rather the quality of the meat .. tasted like farmed lobster that has a very bad feed ... none of the sweet crustacean taste.

oyster are small and quite run of the mill .. blanched prawns are sadly cooked and chilled too long

the rest of the mains and accompaniments are ok but doesn't really stands out in taste .. hence i find myself not goingbackfor seconds for the first time. i enjoyed the cakes and ice cream selections more!!

i must be missing something with all the previous rave reviews!

on the plus side,
- bbq beef and pomfret is surprisingly good
- good and efficient table service staffs for an almost full house

with so many other options for thursday themed nights at other hotels .. will checked this off for now.

hi friends, just wanted to share a very bitter experience of kuzbara restaurant at marriott downtown. 😟 we booked the christmas eve dinner for 9 people. i spoke with ms.melody there and asked her for availability for the dinner and also checked with her for the vegetarian options. after 4-5 callsbackand forth, she confirmed our reservation and sent us this sms. today, late evening we got a call from this restaurant’s manager saying that our reservation is cancelled as the eve dinner is completely booked ( but we checked for availability before booking, also checked with the chef for veg options). it was a total disappointment even in the way they handled the situation. after 2-3 calls , they gave us the choice to move to al forsan marriott but we have young kids and didn’t want to move our plans last minute out of the city. we didn’t expect such a bad customer service from the marriott brand. now, we have nowhere to go tomorrow and give our children the christmas eve feel. so sad that marriott treats their customers like this, on a festive occasion. if you ever take reservations here, please check multiple times. we all are so super disappointed! 😣🙁☹️

we went there on christmas eve.. they had a buffet.. it was great.. they have all kinds of meat with all kinds of vegetables and salads.. it was a variety.. even have an indian corner.. the desserts were amazing too.. the things they didnt have was arabic food and also they didnt have the classic bread section (there was bread but colored one).. overall we tried everything and all tastes great.. will comebackfor sure

it’s been a long while that we have tried any brunch at a good place. so this friday we thought to getbackin brunches. we came to know that kuzbara restaurant in marriot downtown abu dhabi has started offering a different type of brunch. they have three categories eat, play and laugh. they’re all related to brunch only but with extended beverages (of all types), and access to the play and bar area at the end. they give you a band according to the selection of brunch. we chose eat and so were given. pink band. they have an extended menu in their brunch covering different cuisines. they welcome you with welcome drinks 🍸 then there’s bread corner, cold beverages counter, hot curries bar, thai food, love sea food station where you can ask them to cook the food according to your taste, choice of soup that you can make your own, bbq station, mexican food station, salad bar, fresh garden salad bar, indian food station, cheese and fruit station, dessert station, ice cream corner and other drink preferences. the food was good in taste and presebtable. their staff starting from manager till waiters all were present minded and hospitable welcoming and escorting their guests with a warm and pleasing smile. they’re jam packed so better to reserve the table before going there. o yes! not to forget they had a play area for kids too where the young ones can play but unfortunately it was not supervised by any supervisor so you have to be with your younger ones there in order to keep an eye on them but for big ones it’s okay. do try them out and let me know how did you find them?

everyone was so accomodating and served us with a smile especially sandhya. the food was delicious and a lot of options to choose from (especially the dessert buffet)! we will definitelybackfor more ;)

we really enjoyed our time at the restaurant. we tried the  wednesday arabic evening and it was great. the food variety are awesome. the staff was too kind they celebrated with us a small birthday party. i would send direct thanks to all of them by names abinan, krishana, kasun and ram.

i was there during ramadan for iftar buffet , it is one of the best in abu dhabi , food variety was great especially middle eastern dishes they were exactly taste , of course i am comingbacksoon👍🏻

great food and atmosphere , excellent service. loved the live cooking stations. staff and chef were very friendly.. mpumi e thank you for your friendly spirit and attitude.. will definitely comebackto try other nights.. indian night was top notch

very disappointed. extremely poor food, low on taste high on salt; struggled to find anything tasting good! no variety at all. meats are chewy and tasteless. i tasted better food in hospital canteens! even the salad is terrible! i have been to kuzbara several times and each time is worse than the time before, the chef and management need to do some soul-searching!
will not be goingbackanytime soon.

went last week for iftar buffet, and it was one of the best iftar buffet i have ever been to, amazing variety of main course, appetizers salad and everything,food was well cocked and tasted great.

they have full section of all kind of dessert, ice cream counter , shawarma and grills , also arabic coffe maroccan green tea all kind of coffee and privileges you can ask for.

definitely goingbackfor lunch or dinner after ramadan.
