bbq buffets are never amazing, the food here is hit or miss. the meats itself was ok, but incomparable to japanese bbq standards. however the sashimi and other sides i really liked. the price was also quite high, just wished the quality of meats reflected this. other than that, customer service was amazing and staff brought out everything very quickly.

this week’s review is from one of the newest all-you-can-eat restaurants in sydney. kobe wagyu bbq is located quite near to world square in cbd. being at the centre of the city, unfortunately, also means a very expensive bbq restaurant. the buffet menu is $79 per person. they back up their pricing with amazing bbq burner where the smoke actually got sucked back down. this actually creates a non-smokey environment with no giant overhead exhausts in sight. they also use touch screen ordering system where you can just click your orders. they did impose limitations on the number of plates you can order in one serving.

i always love going to japanese bbq because it means i can pig out and have a fun time doing it. so many great dishes to try here including a massive platter of assorted wagyu beef, scallops in butter, takoyaki, black sesame ice cream and chocolate lava cake. every night there’s a different special which means that you need at least 7 visits to get the full experience. chances are though that you’ll be back for more!

good selection of dishes and staff are very friendly but service is quite slow. sashimi (i’d rate 4/5) and salads were the highlights. the meat (rating 3/5) was above average but could be better. would recommend when there are promotions running!

great food! great service! great value! absolutely revisit again! meat quality is stunning. seafoods r so fresh. my regular dining destination. highly recommended!

the food was delicious! the meat was so tender and juicy. all the sashimi was so fresh and delicious. the sides and salads were super tasty. great service and awesome dessert to end with! highly recommend this place.

i have been several times to a japanese bbq joint, but to be honest first time i saw a real wagyu beef with high quality is coming on the table without extra your payment. there are 8-10 alternatives and nobody is asking you why you are ordering 27th portion. tri-tip was meaty and rib eye cap was faty but both very tasty. 
just 2 rules; 
1) you can sit 120 minutes but last order after 90 minutes
2) you should eat what you ordered.

had a lunch sushi buffet with my boyfriend today. they’re having promotion for $34 which is a great deal! the choices was good. the service was good and fast!

we actually came here for the eel but we found something better! the food here was extremely fresh, especially the beef and seafood. the desserts were awesome as well. i love the matcha tiramisu most! there are nice staffs and wonderful atmosphere along with the discount at lunch! if you can eat a lot, the buffet which is 79 per person is also worth a try!

what’s the best food to share with friends? japanese bbq, but it has to have kobe beef @kobewagyubbq 🥩 (check out my 2nd shot for evidence)! not only is the kobe amazing, the fresh cuts of a variety of fish are so silky and beautifully presented 🌸

great japanese food! everything went well with service and had an excellent meal. the rib fingers and sashimi were nicely prepared and a joy to eat. excellent customer service.
