this week’s review is from one of the newest all-you-can-eat restaurants in sydney. kobewagyubbq is located quite near to world square in cbd. being at the centre of the city, unfortunately, also means a very expensive bbq restaurant. the buffet menu is $79 per person. they back up their pricing with amazing bbq burner where the smoke actually got sucked back down. this actually creates a non-smokey environment with no giant overhead exhausts in sight. they also use touch screen ordering system where you can just click your orders. they did impose limitations on the number of plates you can order in one serving.

i always love going to japanese bbq because it means i can pig out and have a fun time doing it. so many great dishes to try here including a massive platter of assortedwagyubeef, scallops in butter, takoyaki, black sesame ice cream and chocolate lava cake. every night there’s a different special which means that you need at least 7 visits to get the full experience. chances are though that you’ll be back for more!

i have been several times to a japanese bbq joint, but to be honest first time i saw a realwagyubeef with high quality is coming on the table without extra your payment. there are 8-10 alternatives and nobody is asking you why you are ordering 27th portion. tri-tip was meaty and rib eye cap was faty but both very tasty. 
just 2 rules; 
1) you can sit 120 minutes but last order after 90 minutes
2) you should eat what you ordered.

what’s the best food to share with friends? japanese bbq, but it has to have kobe beef @kobewagyubbq 🥩 (check out my 2nd shot for evidence)! not only is the kobe amazing, the fresh cuts of a variety of fish are so silky and beautifully presented 🌸

i've not been to many japanese bbq joints, but this one tops the list already! $84 for 2 hours all you can eat is a steal if you ask me. all beef iswagyuso you've got insane marbling on every single slice. best cut in my opinion is the rib eye cap, that stuff just melts. choice of sashimi is fantastic, as are the sides and dessert selections. can guarantee you'll love this one!

great venue, friendly staff and tonnes of amazing deals for each day of the week.

i’m such a fan of this place, the service is very fast, manager hubert and owner james have this place working like a well oiled machine.

i love the sashimi platter paired with saki, the crab claws, the raw beef with egg yolk. what start!

the deluxewagyuplatter was insane, i love every piece and it paired perfectly with the malbec.

great dessert selection too

one of the bestwagyurestaurant in sydney! all the items on the menu are worth a try. quality meat, excellent service. mango ice cream is also the best! we will definitely go back with our friends :)

kobewagyuis an all you can eat restaurant, specialised in melt-in-your-mouth japanesewagyubeef & other quality meat cuts. the restaurant also has delicious sashimi & and sushi. simply order from the screen and your orders will arrive shortly. there is a time limit (120 minutes) so make sure you order everything when the alert notification pops up.

although it is pricey, it’s worth every penny. the restaurant has promotion on certain days of the week (weekend excluded), and on your birthday as well (condition: cash payment).

10/10, one of the best buffet bbq’s i’ve had in sydney. there was a great food selection of properwagyuand sashimi, absolutely worth the value. easy service with a table screen and food comes out frequently. 100% would come here again. thank you!

kobewagyuis an excellent choice for a filling dinner with friends or family. it has a wide variety of food making each dining experience feel fresh and new. only downside is the wait time after ordering. other than that, highly recommend.

mouth-watering qualitywagyubeef. well worth the price you pay. generous servings with a lot of side dishes to offer. food came out in timely fashion. we were 15 minutes early but our table was already ready for us. will definitely be returning in future.

to be honest i don't normally go to all you can eat bbq's because of disappointment but kobewagyuis worth it for sure.
i think i ate 50 pieces of sashimi and am currently sick of seafood, so much variety and fresh.
as you can see after eating so much meat my friend is currently in a food coma.

this was the most insane restaurant and the service was absolutely outstanding! 🙌🏼 could not have asked for better portions of the sushi and sashimi and had such fun cooking thewagyuflap meat ourselves on the table bbq. for dessert i had the macha icecream and it was amazing, cannot wait to come here again!
