awesome food...smallplace bt cute. one more place to add in non veg restaurants. fast service and good staff.

it is righly said that big thing come insmallpackages..
asmallrestaurant but serves a mindblasting food especially for non vegetarians.
a must must visit place for all people. great soups great food what else u want.
come once and i bet u coudnt resist coming here again.

decided to give my ma an off today and
picked up lunch from knife & fork,
prahladnagar. wasn't in a mood to go out and eat so i thought i'd just pick up some food, besides i'd also heard some real good stuff about this place from a few fellow foodies. placed an order for :
1. murg ka khurchan ( juicy boneless chicken pieces in a mildly sweet gravy)
2. knife and fork special chicken (stuffed chicken breast, filled with kheema) in a delicately spicy gravy.
3. naans, laccha paratha, roomali roti.

the food was precisely ready in the time frame they'd given me. the place is rathersmallas i checked while making the payment and it probably could get noisy at times. the journey
back home was particularly difficult
considering i had all this good smelling food right next to me in the car. i also observed that they'd packed it really nicely, sealing the plastic containers and also labeling them.

once the veil was lifted, it was a pleasurable sight to me and my family. damn, the chicken
looked so juicy and soft that i could only
imagine what eating it would be like. one bite and i was convinced that it'd be a hit and it definitely turned out that way. the chicken breast was soft and adequately stuffed and the mild spicy gravy to go with it only escalated
the whole taste to a new level. i'd like to
similarly say the same regarding the khurchan, the chicken was tender and tasted wonderful. the roomali roti went well with these dishes. rich creamy gravies and some finely cooked chicken to boot. what else do you need?
overall i'd give a strong 5/5 to both these items although my final rating is 4.5 as this was my first experience here.these two dishes are something i'd highly recommend as well. it was sheer joy having these for lunch along with some chilled dr. pepper. the drink
is one of the finest cold drinks for me after thumbs up. it made me burp out in
contentment several times.

the overall cost was approximately 660.

food was good but not great , and service was too slow as there is only one guy working for all tables and also bit late in serving our order and this place was just onesmallroom i can say but very cozy and silent .
five spice tandoori, tangdi kabab, chicken adraki, butter chicken, tandoor roti, sweet corn cream soup must try!

taste is just yum and the chicken is properly stuffed with spice and cooked
at it best. i had chicken tikka and they are best at what rate they provide.
if you want to go in group i suggest you to book a table as it issmallplace only 10 people can seat at once better call

outcome- happy as hell!
knf bole toh knife and fork, prahladnagar- where i had my dinner with friends tonight!
one of them being a strict jain, it was difficult taking them to a place which serves veg-nonveg!! 'was adamant'
so the dinner had a big tnc- the food will be without any onion/garlic! options limited themselves, as they don't serve any starters which are jain! 'sad'
so we ordered for the regular basic dinner.....dal, subzi, naan etc.
paneer tikka lababdar - huge paneer chunks in finest red gravy, do try!
dal tadka- perfect! vegetable makhanwala- similar gravy, nevertheless yummy!
the roomali rotis too, a must try, they're super soft n fluffy.
the food was overall just fantastic and finger-licking good!! (ok, literally!)
faced 2 very unavoidable hitches though- the a/c wasn't great enough, given that it's asmallplace though!
we were seated right outside the kitchen door, so my jain friends had a problem adjusting to the smells emanating from the kitchen! 'still would ignore the fact and go with another set of friends'
ambience- none really,smallplace with 4-5 tables and slightly stuffy!
food taste and quality - a lip-smacking 5/5
cost- 6/5 atleast for vegetarian (cost for 3- just ₹630)!!
p.s. try going in a little early, and if possible, try and get a parcel/ home delivery!!

chicken pieces toosmallfor the price

absolute brilliant 5 spice chicken, i do visit whenever i am in ahmedabad.smallplace but great food.

i ordered home delivery for tandoori chicken. it was good. hence, thought of visiting the place. but they havesmallseating area, which was disappointing. however, food is very good.

it happens that sometimessmalloutlets makes big impact on customers mindset and this outlet is one of them.. knife & fork is basically verysmalloutlet but is having existence into 5 different locations in ahmedabad and that shows that it has its own set of customers.. outlet being verysmallin size is one concern as you cannot accommodate more customers at a go and also because ofsmallsize tables kept seems to be congested more..

talking about food, i ordered executive vegetable lunch which was having 2 vegetables, 2 roti, dal, rice & sweet.. food was too good in taste.. i liked more as it was bit spicy also.. quantity was good as compare to rates they charge..

the only concerning part seems to be size of restaurant, otherwise highly recommended..

i am a regular visitor to thissmallrestaurant. we ( me and my husband) also occasionally get food delivered from here. we have tried both indian and the chinese preparations over here , not a bit to complain about anything. the quantity of food justifies the price and quality. i would recommend prawn chilli fried rice if you are a fan of seafood. the only short coming is thesmallspace and lack of toilet .. though the nearby restaurant people are very generous to allow others to use theirs. the knf staff and the manager are very polite and humble to the customers.

i’ve been here two times up until now and the food quality is something that’ll definitely bring me back.
have tried chicken tikka, chicken biryani and tandoori chicken and everything tasted good.
asmallplace with courteous staff and quick service.

it is asmallrestaurant but the overall experience was good. fish and chicken starters were really awesome, tender and juicy. didn't like the biriyani though. the service was homely and price is reasonable.

knife & fork, prahaladnagar outlet is a decent lookingsmallrestaurant serving multiple cuisines. the seating is very simple. we ordered chicken noodles soup and egg biryani. the food didn't taste like what was expected from this restaurant. the service was a bit slow too.

you actually do not use a "knife and fork" here because the food is so good that you end up eating with your hands, the traditional way and licking your fingers. the variety of non veg is superbly fantabulously fantastic for asmallplace like this. you have to eat it to believe it...
