we ordered hugwani tangadi andchickenbiryani. both the items were super delicious. highly recommend this place to non veg lovers. also, the pricing is very reasonable and the food was quite authentic.

a big disappointment as i started tasting the food......

          when me and my friends where looking for a good non-veg restaurant, we found knife & fork, with a good rating in zomato.  so we had ordered for mutton sheek kebab, butter chicken,chickenkasturi kebab,chickenbiriyani and mutton dum biriyani. as the food came, it was looking too good. 
          when we tasted the much expected biriyani, there is no flavor, no masalas. it was completely stale. the mutton sheek kebab was also below average. but for a little relief the butterchickenandchickenkasturi kebab were good. if you wish to have some biriyani never go there.

a standard joint for a meal with friends. i had ordered  starters  - thechickentikka and murg malai tikka as well as naan and  butterchickenboneless. the former two were tasty though non juicy. the chciken tikka had a decent amount of chilly in it and this was thereby offset by the murg malai tikka. naan- both buttery and simple were well cooked and tasty. the butterchickencould do with a few more pieces in it though it was standard and nothing to boast of. marks have been deducted for the non - juiciness of the starters,  and the standard of the butter chicken. hope to have better next time.

decided to give my ma an off today and
picked up lunch from knife & fork,
prahladnagar. wasn't in a mood to go out and eat so i thought i'd just pick up some food, besides i'd also heard some real good stuff about this place from a few fellow foodies. placed an order for :
1. murg ka khurchan ( juicy bonelesschickenpieces in a mildly sweet gravy)
2. knife and fork specialchicken(stuffedchickenbreast, filled with kheema) in a delicately spicy gravy.
3. naans, laccha paratha, roomali roti.

the food was precisely ready in the time frame they'd given me. the place is rather small as i checked while making the payment and it probably could get noisy at times. the journey
back home was particularly difficult
considering i had all this good smelling food right next to me in the car. i also observed that they'd packed it really nicely, sealing the plastic containers and also labeling them.

once the veil was lifted, it was a pleasurable sight to me and my family. damn, the chicken
looked so juicy and soft that i could only
imagine what eating it would be like. one bite and i was convinced that it'd be a hit and it definitely turned out that way. thechickenbreast was soft and adequately stuffed and the mild spicy gravy to go with it only escalated
the whole taste to a new level. i'd like to
similarly say the same regarding the khurchan, thechickenwas tender and tasted wonderful. the roomali roti went well with these dishes. rich creamy gravies and some finely cookedchickento boot. what else do you need?
overall i'd give a strong 5/5 to both these items although my final rating is 4.5 as this was my first experience here.these two dishes are something i'd highly recommend as well. it was sheer joy having these for lunch along with some chilled dr. pepper. the drink
is one of the finest cold drinks for me after thumbs up. it made me burp out in
contentment several times.

the overall cost was approximately 660.

been searching for non-vegetarian outlet for quite a time, amazed to end it.
amazingly this one is owned by gujarati yet nothing gujarati reflections to any preparations.
5 spice tandoori chicken, a new dish introduced by the well known non veg restaurant knife & fork, prahladnagar.
haven't tasted such a dish. awesome cooked, well merinated the combination of the spices is perfectly aligned to keep the taste smooth and surprising.
secondly the other new dish i.e.chickenlahsuni tikka, is for all those foodaholics who love a taste of garlic in their chicken, all balanced with thechickenand well cooked.

no disrespect to any vegetarians, they serve equally satisfying various dishes.

must visit again and again for different delightful surprises.

food was good but not great , and service was too slow as there is only one guy working for all tables and also bit late in serving our order and this place was just one small room i can say but very cozy and silent .
five spice tandoori, tangdi kabab,chickenadraki, butter chicken, tandoor roti, sweet corn cream soup must try!

taste is just yum and thechickenis properly stuffed with spice and cooked
at it best. i hadchickentikka and they are best at what rate they provide.
if you want to go in group i suggest you to book a table as it is small place only 10 people can seat at once better call

this restaurant is one that has been one of the reliable ones. due to curfew we ordered delivery of mughlaichickenand 5 spices chicken.

overall the experience this time was mediocre. the 5 spiceschickenwas very good and flavorful but the mughlaichickenwas a disappointment. it was bland.

chinese food is too good.. must visit for good nonveg food. can recommend chinese sizzler,chickenchilly soup, chinese rice and starters...

it wasn't tandoori.. instead it ischickenwhich is not cooked properly and fully filled with masala ..i didn't expect this form such restaurant

very weird taste.. not good at all.. doesn't taste likechickentikka

tandoorichickenwas good butchickenfried rice was full of garlic & ginger which killed the mildness of the dish.
fresh lime water was good but quantity was very less......overall experience was not satisfying as my expectations was high according to last orders from knife & fork

egg biryani taste was not good as for as like yourchickenkadai and egg curry

after such a long break due to lockdown and having vegetarian all the time
finally i found something good to eat.. i have orderedchickentandoori andchickenangara dish was above expection level i have never found this level of non veg item in ahmedabad so long... i will surely recommend knife & fork to others as well.

went here on a sunday night.
the place is small, cozy & you have to reserve a table if you are going in a group, interiors are ok.
parking for both 2 & 4 wheelers is plenty.

they looked kind of under-staffed but they were polite, friendly and they heeded to our request/orders on time.

chicken kali mirch tikka for starters, it was quite good, tasty, ample,chickenpieces were barbecued with malai & marinated with black pepper (kali mirch) and came along with spicy green chutney🔥

chicken lajawab masala, with naan, was also tasty😋

chicken dum biryani🍛🍗, less aromatic as the most of the flavours gets sealed in the biryani which was super tasty & mouthful🤤 with some good quantity of caramelized onions in the biryani &chickenpieces as well, came with a raita..

overall, a very good non-veg dinner experience. will visit soon vibes✨.
