eggbiryanitaste was not good as for as like your chicken kadai and egg curry

went here on a sunday night.
the place is small, cozy & you have to reserve a table if you are going in a group, interiors are ok.
parking for both 2 & 4 wheelers is plenty.

this place serves both non veg and veg delicacies. tried non-veg, didn't tried veg.

they looked kind of under-staffed but they were polite, friendly and they heeded to our request/orders on time.

coming to the food, we ordered
chicken kali mirch tikka for starters, it was quite good, tasty, ample, chicken pieces were barbecued with malai & marinated with black pepper (kali mirch) and came along with spicy green chutney🔥

chicken lajawab masala, with naan, was also tasty😋

chicken dum biryani🍛🍗, less aromatic as the most of the flavours gets sealed in thebiryaniwhich was super tasty & mouthful🤤 with some good quantity of caramelized onions in thebiryani& chicken pieces as well, came with a raita..

i came to know of the place from a friend who stopped by here for lunch about 4 years back. i wonder how i did not try it then. it was only sometime back that i decided to order from here and i so wish i had done that earlier. great food, affordable prices and good services ; knife and fork is a combination of all. this review is for the last two times that i ordered and missed writing about. we ordered a butter chicken boneless, butter naan, murgh parda biryani, home style chicken and tandoori malai chicken. what really pleased me was the portion size for each dish. the tandoori malai chicken was delectable with mild flavours and juicy. the butter chicken was good and the naan went perfectly well with it. despite being a parcel, the naan was soft and easy to chew( my biggest concern while ordering indian breads). the pardabiryanijs cbickenbiryaniwith a layer of egg on top and hence the name 'parda'. it tasted great too. the home style chicken tasted like it and i really loved it. lovely flavours and not very rich. on one of the ocassions, they accidently sent me egg curry in place of the chicken and once i informed them about the mistake, they immediately sent me the dish i originally ordered( mistakes are human, accepting them takes a lot of courage). thumps up to the courteous staff. it's been a few days that i ordered but the place definitely deserves a mention. better late than never.

a simple restaurant which hides peacefully in the corner in prahladnagar. the prawnsbiryaniis by far the best thing on the menu. don't miss it!

just amazing!!! if you are a fan of tandoori, some roti andbiryanithis is the place to visit. the pardabiryani, 5 spice tandoori and angaar chicken is what i've tried on home delivery and trust me guys you should definitely try this, it gives you feeling of haven 😉. must try for all non-veg lovers!!!!

november 2016 update: stopped ordering from here as they have no payment option except cash on delivery. i asked them on them on the phone and was bluntly refused options. i think its a little too high headed.

september 2016 update: knife and fork is turning out to be a hit and miss game these days. i am a regular customer of their's and my last few experiences of ordering weren't consistent. i don't know how you can go wrong with the simplest of chinese preparations.

their paneer chilly dry, chicken manchurian, veg/chicken hakka noodles have become very inconsistent. sometimes the flavouring is just perfect and sometimes its extremely bad. there is no middle path.

older review: just awesome. i live close to prahladnagar and this has become one of my go to places now. everything from their indian to their chinese is delicious. i would recommend to go there and eat even though its a small place. the food feels freshly prepared and rightly spiced. their rotis could do with some improvement though.had the following till date: mutton masala, paneer butter masala, chicken manchurian, paneer manchurian gravy, paneer chilly. hope to try theirbiryanisomeday.

the moment u enter this place ud be like o god its so small. but as soon as u take the first bite be it veg o nonveg u tend to forget everything n all of a sudden it will become one of the most awesomest place uve ever been to. after all its all about the food. ive tried their meals too even meals r damn good for the price it cms. out of the many super delicious items they serve masala egg curry andbiryaniis my fav :))

went for take away it took them almost half hour to present the order. the butter chicken was good 3.5/5, the eggbiryanii had was not at all upto the mark 2/5 , improvise in that part and learn from masty on how to cook it, will rate 4.5 if that is done .

well i loved this place earlier.... u used 2 b our destination for amazing food... but 2day... i ordered for a lemon coriander soup n got simple boiled water wid a fer pieces of cauliflower. it did nt even have salt! i added salt though... d service was also horrible. d guy taking d order had no clue about d menu. had also ordered for executive. veg lunch. which was also not up2 mark. increasing d outlets has dropped d quality drastically....


guys if u r a pure vegetarian..... don't every go 2 this place.... 2day v ordered vegbiryanin found pieces of chicken in it!!!!!! can u believe it!!!!

perfect place to satisfy your meat cravings, located at the most developed place of ahmedabad(prahlad nagar), this tiny eatery ,with only 4 tables, is gem of a place can put any plush restaurant to shame (no offense intended) with the kind of quality,quantity and taste that they bring to your table,

probably the second most popular item in this group after the famous cheese pops from joules,

awesome stuff, roasted chicken leg piece stuffed with keema, and served with luscious thick curry, muaahh, must try,recommended to vegetarians too


chicken dum biryani,

i have always believed that here in ahmedabad,thebiryanithey offer can also be termed as pulao,it's all about mixing rice with chicken curry, but that's not the authentic procedure,

k&f has the perfect biriyani, cooked in dum, is so good that the moment it goes to your mouth, it melts,the aroma,richness in rice,perfectly cooked chicken everything was right about the biryani

was very happy with the restaurant's generous serving
