the customer service was really amazing!! the service was really on point! the seafood dishes and the truffled potato gratin was really nice! my boyfriend ordered a dry aged striploin on the bone 400g. unfortunately, after one return of the dish to the kitchen, the meat was still returned burnt but cooked well inside. he wasn’t satisfied with his dish! would return again for the seafood but honestly don’t understand what is the hype with thesteaksat this restaurant!

love, love, love!. i've been going to kingsleys for a number of years and it never lets me down. the menu is delectable, the wine list exceptional, and the staff perfection. i have had a booking for 6 and turned up with 10 having seen friends in the street and nothing was too much trouble.

what i particularly like is the pricing. what you get here for $40 is not what you get in other places/cities for $40. thesteaksare exceptional, and there is even one for $22. many establishments fall victim to "large white plate syndrome" where they are charging for the privilege rather than the food. when i spend that much on a main i want to enjoy every bite, and at kingsleys you are left wanting to lick the plate.

kingsley is a classic waterfront restaurant in woolloomooloo which boasts a stunning view of the harbour and a specialised range ofsteaksand seafood.

i visited the seaside restaurant on a sunday and was disappointed to understand that their famous mud crabs were sold out. i settled for a moreton bay bug prepared in singapore chilli and grilled prawns. on the one hand, the prawns were not fresh as it was stuck to firmly to the shell. i understand from the service staff that the restaurant does not receive fresh batches of seafood on a sunday. on the other hand, the chilli sauce for the bay bug was sour and subdued. it does not resemble the intense spice and sweet chilli sauce we associate with singapore chilli.

nice meal and good steak. had the wagu sirloin and though it was good but not the best i've had, just lacked something. an expensive meal which was nice as the location is good and food was good, but i've had bettersteaksfor less money.

this used to be my favourite restaurant but i hadn't been in years. no signs of decline though, even the staff seemed attentive and friendly (which i was worried about given a few recent reviews). thesteaksare still some of the best in australia - there's a range ofsteaksbut the eye fillet perfectly shows the tender meaty taste of good australian grass-fed beef. thesteaksare expensive but there are plenty of places now charging just as much for inferiorsteaks they also don't come with anything except sauce, but the sides and salads are usually large enough to share. on a sunny day, the waterside location makes for a great afternoon out.

nothing but ordinary. the service was slow but with an acceptable time frame given how busy the restaurant was. the real let was the food starting from the started tosteaksand sides and finishing with the deserts. they were decent but definitely not worth the price and not something i will be excited to come back to. the only highlight was the sticky fingers which we really enjoyed.

a great evening. we had such a great night here. cocktails, then seafood, thensteaksand dessert. all of it was great quality, particularly the dessert. friendly but unobtrusive service.

superb meal - great service. i booked a team christmas meal last friday and was greeted by a friendly staff member who took us to our table. the waiting staff were attentive and nice. i booked the set menu meal with 3 hour drinks package, which was excellent value. first came the starters, which were tasty (oysters, charcuterie board), which was well presented. most of us hadsteaks(ribeye with soft shell crab) which was cooked to perfection and a perfect piece of steak. the dessert was equally as well presented. all in all a great meal at a perfect location. kingsleys is a place that doesn't try to get you to buy extras unless you want to do so. i would recommend kingsleys to anyone looking for a great steak at a great location. thank you kingsleys!!!!

enjoyed our dinner. the service wasn't quite right and unfortunately the men's toilets were not adequately kept clean. thesteakswere to quality, the mash potatoes smooth and creamy, the green beans delicious and the chips were ok a little soggy. will be back, have had better service on previous occasions.

great steak !. if you are after a good steak this is the place to be! great sides and sauces to accompany thesteaksand the staff are very knowledgable and really know their stuff! will definitely be returning!!

what's the fuss?. i've eaten at kingsleys twice now, and i am at a loss as to why this place is so popular. thesteaksare just ok, i have had better at my local pub. the food does not justify the prices that's for sure.

great steaks!. this is only my second time here but both times i really enjoyed the steaks. i couldn't go past the eye fillet with the soft shell crab and this was cooked perfectly. my family all enjoyed theirsteaksand the chimichurri sauce is a must! we had the chips and greens as our sides and we were too full to try any of their desserts. service tonight was much better than the first time we visited and we will be back!

been here a few times, each time it's been great, service very professional,steaksare great but the best is the mud crab and alaskan king crab delicious. great wine selection and desserts are great. location is fabulous, i recommend saturday or sunday lunch as the location is gorgeous.
