not worth it. not a good steak at all, heard so much about it and the place looked promising. disappointing! got a new york steak, ended up swapping it for a scotch fillet which wasn’t much better. for these prices, may as well go to rockpool and get a proper steak.

worst steak i have had in sydney. came here with family with high hopes after reading so many great reviews only to leave disappointed and still hungry. would not recommend.

this place is amazing every single time we go. been going here for the last 3 years. the wagyu is amazing when cooked medium as it has a high marbling score. the oysters are cold and fresh. free bread is also a score! =]

kingsley’s wooloomooloo is a premium steakhouse and restaurant located on the famous woolloomooloo finger wharf. we came here for dinner on a balmy winter’s night and it was lovely to walk along the wharf and enjoy the view of the water surrounded by the silhouette of the sydney city skyline. read on for our full review of their three course menu!

overpriced, unexciting menu and average food. very limited choice on wines by the glass. on a cold winters day/night, this place is also inadequately heated. the only redeeming feature was fairly good service. overall a very poor-value dining experience. its a shame as we used to enjoy coming here, but we will not be back as its only a shadow of how good it used to be.

kingsley is a classic waterfront restaurant in woolloomooloo which boasts a stunning view of the harbour and a specialised range of steaks and seafood.

i visited the seaside restaurant on a sunday and was disappointed to understand that their famous mud crabs were sold out. i settled for a moreton bay bug prepared in singapore chilli and grilled prawns. on the one hand, the prawns were not fresh as it was stuck to firmly to the shell. i understand from the service staff that the restaurant does not receive fresh batches of seafood on a sunday. on the other hand, the chilli sauce for the bay bug was sour and subdued. it does not resemble the intense spice and sweet chilli sauce we associate with singapore chilli.

went here to celebrate my friend's birthday. for the starter, i had calamari which was nice but not special. the steak was okay but what i love the most is their dessert! the creme brulee was really good. perhaps, its the best creme brulee i've ever had. really recommended👌🏼

nice meal and good steak. had the wagu sirloin and though it was good but not the best i've had, just lacked something. an expensive meal which was nice as the location is good and food was good, but i've had better steaks for less money.

worst service ever, we went on sunday at 9 o'clock. there were about 5,6 empty tables (not reserved), the waitress made us wait for 45 mins because 'they are at full capacity". and her attitude was very bad, very impatient and arrogant!

we ate so many crustaceans in so many combinations, all of which seemed tasty at the time. however went home with sharpe-stabbing pains in my stomach feeling certain i'd eaten far more shell than necessary. no fault but my own, but it's not a place i would rush back to.

kingsley would make vegetarians cry but carnivores start growling in anticipation. i really liked the sketch of a cow sitting looking shocked at a book and the caption was "the moment he realised h wasn't looking at a family album"
are the garlic prawns and rib eye, creamed spinach. cooked how i requested which is not always the way it happens at steak houses.

woolloomooloo is a dynamic place! a row of high end restaurants with harbour view. you will have good photos of sculpture if you go there during a sunny day. kingsleys serves high quality steak and crab with really amazing chilly sauce. i was impressed by the sauce which i thought of pack up home. i will surely come back for the crab!

this used to be my favourite restaurant but i hadn't been in years. no signs of decline though, even the staff seemed attentive and friendly (which i was worried about given a few recent reviews). the steaks are still some of the best in australia - there's a range of steaks but the eye fillet perfectly shows the tender meaty taste of good australian grass-fed beef. the steaks are expensive but there are plenty of places now charging just as much for inferior steaks they also don't come with anything except sauce, but the sides and salads are usually large enough to share. on a sunny day, the waterside location makes for a great afternoon out.

don't get me wrong - the food here is good but the service is atrocious. for $110 per person + 8% service charge, an oyster, prawn and steak with "unlimited" alcohol for 3 hours was rubbish. they stopped serving drinks as they called the "rsa" card. unfortunately i'm sober and driving home.

never again due to such disgusting service.
