kingsfood sunnybank

we headed to sunnybank with intentions to warm ourselves up with a hearty bowl of ramen. where do we end up? at kingsfood, where chinese food is served in abundance. our mission had already failed on that part, but to the contrary, i was quite pleased with my food! food envy was the order of the day for my friend, who ordered a combination noodle soup, which, according to him, tasted bland and could have done with some salt. i tasted it and could totally agree. his bowl of noodles had squid, prawns, pork, and asian greens in a broth with thick vermicelli noodles.  i ordered the three meat and rice. the choice of meats were bbq pork, roast duck, and roast pork with crackling, accompanied by some pickled vegetables and greens. i was expecting fatty and boney pieces of duck, but was quite pleased with the meaty cuts i was given! everything on the plate satisfied my hunger, and the meat wasn't so greasy as some that i have eaten around market square. my friend also ordered a avocado milk d

food here is awesome and servings are big. bring a big appetite and you’ll be happy. i like the sweet and sour pork and the tofu pot and prawn omelette. it can get busy and it’s interior is pretty run down but i’m not complaining 👌

not impressed!. went here after reading all the good reviews, ordered the salt n pepa calamari which was overcooked and tuff to eat and also the szechuan chicken which had no sauce or vegtables and tasted plain with no real flavour at all. also 2 dishes cost over $32 with no rice included which i wouldn't mind paying if the food was good but it was terrible, i do not recommend this reastaurant to anyone it's overpriced and the food was below average..

my favourite chinese restaurant in sunnybank! the menu is highly variable, and the food is consistently tasty! my favourite dish here would be the flounder with ginger sauce. the egg tofu is also very yummy. servings are generous; and you also have access to free soup, cooled water or hot tea. a very good spot for a quick family dinner.

love coming here and trying all the delicious varieties of food but our favourite dishes are the satay chicken and spicy salt pork ribs. shout out to sylvia for her amazing services ✌️

consistently excellent taiwanese-chinese cuisine that’s really reasonably priced. our go-to for chinese food.

whenever i come here, it is for a quick, filling and decent meal. which they never fail at, so no wonder they are so busy. although this place doesn't offer the highest quality food and service for a restaurant, for its price and range it is pretty good. my favorites are the crispy shredded beef in sweet chilli sauce and the pork mince with string beans. sometimes quick average is what you want :)

as chinese, i am always down for an authentic chinese meal. i would say kings food was quite up to my standards and i’m still thinking about their three cup chicken. there are so many more dishes i would love to have a go with. seafood fried rice was on point and the veggie stir fry was a fresh touch to the greasiness and savory flavor of three cup chicken.

delicious food, good sizes and prices, lovely staff.
we always get the same thing:
taro milk tea, lemon-lychee green tea, salt and pepper calamari, garlic gailan, crispy beef, szechwan chicken... they give you takeaway containers for your extra :)

so much to choose from and big dishes so i almost always have food to take home for the next day. busy at times, but staff are efficient so the wait is short and it makes for a good atmosphere.

i don't understand how this restaurant is sitting on a 4 rating???

i've been to sunnybank many times and have tried many different restaurants and by far kingsfood is the best

and $50 for 2? that's not right either! the two of us go and it's $35 for two very large portion meals and two delicious frappes!!!!!!!!

if you haven't been to kingsfood your missing out!! i wish we had something like this on the gc!!

honest portions, place is clean. food is serviced quickly and always something new to try on the menu. 

duck and pork belly is nice.  soups are good value.

a must-try when at sunnybank. kingsfood has a great selection of amazing asian dishes. the ambience may not be as nice as other restaurants nearby but kingsfood has by far, the most delicious food i’ve had at sunnybank.

food literally within seconds!. me & a friend come to this spot often & we always love the food & drinks every time.. this time round we thought we'd time the dishes for a bit of fun & see how long they take as usually they come out very quickly. we were astonished to find our first dish (sweet & sour pork in special sauce) came to us in 21 seconds flat!!! could not stop laughing at how ridiculously quick & tasty our first meal was.. our other dishes followed a couple minutes after & they were scrumptious as usual - calamari & garlic chicken! yum! love ya kings!

the recent experience of declined standard at the sushi edo (sunnybank plaza) did not represent the standard of overall eateries around the area as the same. this eatery is an excellent example.
had a quick dinner here last monday and found that it was as busy as before.
we ordered a few dishes to explore. mixed stewed platter was generous in portion. taste of the beef honey-cone, seaweed and pig ear were all delicious. soup of meat ball and wonton were good. if the deep fried chicken thigh can be as good as fried chicken master and the stir-fried long bean as good as the tasty gallery, a full mark would be deserved. having said that overall standard has been obviously improved as compared to our last experience😋
