we headed to sunnybank with intentions to warm ourselves up with a hearty bowl of ramen. where do we end up? at kingsfood, where chinese food is served in abundance. our mission had already failed on that part, but to the contrary, i was quite pleased with my food! food envy was the order of the day for my friend, who ordered a combination noodle soup, which, according to him, tasted bland and could have done with some salt. i tasted it and could totally agree. his bowl of noodles had squid, prawns, pork, and asian greens in a broth with thick vermicelli noodles. i ordered the three meat and rice. the choice of meats were bbq pork, roast duck, and roast pork with crackling, accompanied by some pickled vegetables and greens. i was expecting fatty and boney pieces of duck, but was quite pleased with the meaty cuts i was given! everything on the plate satisfied my hunger, and the meat wasn't so greasy as some that i have eaten around market square. my friend also ordered a avocado milk d
