this was not my first time at kingsfood, but it was certainly my most enjoyable in recent times. service was fast and food was very tasty. even though the restaurant was three quarters full, we were served quickly and food came out at an impressive rate.

we ordered our usual favourites like, crispy shredded beef ($16.50), deep fried tofu (s)($5.50) and combination crispy noodle with gravy ($14.50). as we were having lunch with friends they picked dishes to share as well. they ordered salt and pepper calamari ($16.50), special sauce spare ribs ($16.50), satay chicken ($16.00) and kai lan with oyster sauce ($11.00).

i must say, i enjoyed all dishes on this visit and kingsfood is our 'go to' restaurant for this type of food. i feel it's its good value, delicious and we are always satisfied. i would recommend to anyone who isn't familiar to market square and isn't sure what to eat.

my husband & i have found this restaurant to be the most amazing place, food is just devine an the staff are lovely. we have introduced many of our family and friends to kingsfood an they have loved it. we have been coming here for 2. years nothing compares to this anywhere on the gold coast. a must place to visit.

visited this place a week ago or so for dinner. was a little hard to find because of all the construction happening in market square but i'm glad i did. the portion sizes were large compared to other places, and at a reasonable price. the service was pretty quick considering the restaurant was packed for the night. the noodles i ordered had a decent amount of flavour but was diluted slightly by the amount of oil used. the fried tofu was definitely the highlight of the night - not too oily and was drizzled with a generous amount of sauce. would recommend for a casual night out when you can't be bothered cooking.

delicious and tasty. a clean venue with no fuss staff. good sized meals come out very quickly and are reasonably priced. bad place for parking. better off catching a bus there!!

we are regular customers, food is delicious, service is amazing & friendly. i would rate it as one of the best asian restaurants in sunnybank. throughly love this place. highly recommend to everyone.

quick service. order taking slow, but kingsfood whip up your orders quick as lightning after being taken. excellent pricing and big portions. delicious milk tea. fantastic family place with a wide array of taiwanese yummies to choose from.

love this place, the best satay chicken in brisbane, also the kingsfood special fried rice is a meal in itself. portions are extremely generous. i always intend to try other dishes but can't get past the satay. will always go back.

kingsfood might not be the best chinese restaurant in sunnybank but we have kept coming back for few reasons. first of all, there are almost everything on the menu that you would expect in common chinese restaurants, and the prices are affordable. their portions are really generous and the service is fast and straight forward.

anytime we visit kingsfood, what we don't miss out are hot & sour soup and mapo tofu. the soup has 2 sizes, and even a small one is big enough for 2-3 people as a starter. mapo tofu was nice and flavourful.

we also get to try a few new dishes. the deep fried tofu is a bit dry and the sauce is salty. the silky tofu & thousand eggs is a nice combination but the sauce is a bit too salty. the salty fish, pork mince and eggplant hot pot is quite nice but a little too sweet. the combination with gravy fried noodles is perfectly yummy. and the black pepper pork spare ribs with rice is nice, just needs a bit more seasoning.

we can't finish everything, so take some away for our lunch boxes. all together our meals only cost us $54.

we have been eating at kingsfood for years now and still come here every week for the great food. the table service is super fast and no sooner have you ordered your food is at the table. this is not a restaraunt where you sit and chat after your meal. the reason kingsfood is so cheap is because they rely on a high turnover. once we finish we wonder around the shops and relax. keep the great food coming kingsfood aaa+++

one of the resto in my must go list everytime i comeback in brisbane. this place has been my favourite chinese food for as long as i know maybe more than 20 years ago. why? first, the foods always taste good, big portion and price is considerately cheap. here i always order their speciality dish which is pork chop rice. it's traditional taiwanese dish contain of pork chop, mince pork rice, mix veg, tomato scramble egg and some tofu. other dishes also very delicious...have not found the one that i don't like yet.
a plus they also serve free long soup...

great value for money food located in the heart of market square. been here on multiple occasions and would say the cuisine is one of the best asian restaurants i've tried. the sweet chilli beef strips are a family favourite and we order them every time we visit! they're slightly spicy, sweet and still crispy - i would definitely recommend. the ambience isn't great, seating is tight but i think the food is very good! service is decent as there are usually crowds and a long line to be seated.

nice food and very big portion. been here with 4 friends and we ordered 3 dishes: beef brisket hot pot, deep fried flounder with ginger and shallot sauce and fried toufu. we can't finish the food. my favourite is the deep fried fish. the pearl milk tea is nice also.

one of the best places in brisbane for authentic asian cuisine! large portions, delicious food, great prices and its always busy so you know its good! the deep dried tofu is to die for! they also cater for vegetarians, with several options on the menu and a huge drinks menu. i eat here 1-2 times a week and have never been let down. love it!
