my first review on zomato because i am never really bothered but i had to share how great kingsfood restaurant really is! i've been eating here at least once a month since 2013. the main factor is that the meals are always consistently super tasty no matter how frequent or less frequent you come here the food is always consistently the same tasty flavour, i don't know how they do it but theyve never dropped their standards in what they serve out unlike most other eateries in the market square, every dish i've had has been great in flavour & value. at kingsfood the portions are filling (and i'm a big bloke), and the prices are justified for what you get - so please kingsfood i hope you don't increase prices or reduce portion sizes like the other restaurants are doing in the market square which i've stopped going to now. the new taiwanese fried chicken dish & the new frappe drink menu (mango & watermelon my favourite) are great additions to the menu - must try . customer service from staff has always been good. all the staff & food gets a well deserved 5 star. after writing this review i am now hungry for more kingsfood haha.

great service, great staff, highly recommended, beautiful flavours, generous portion sizes.

this place is the best! excellent value and so tasty! we usually get the belly pork with mixed sides, seafood tofu hot pot, seafood ho fun noodles with gravy, satay chicken and beef brisket and tendon noodles. all delicious! we can’t wait to try more dishes.

our must order: three cups chicken, which comes in a hot pot,, yummy flavor. 
another favorite is the tofu pot and fried eggs with prawns. 

a larger group should be able to share, the braised beef pot, which got a lot in there, really tender and a lot of sauce to go with the rice and some vege underneath the beef absorbing all the juiciness.

huge range of food offerings and fast service. the parking is always chaotic but the food is worth it. we will be back, good family value. portions were a touch on the small side with a few thing but overall not bad.

i love this place!! kingsfood is my favorite chinese food restaurant hands down, no other establishment even comes close. the food is absolutely delicious, generous portions and their bubble tea is amazing. 

some of my favorite dishes are.. the pineapple prawn in special sauce, szechwan chicken, crispy shredded beef, honey chicken and of course the special fried rice.. possibly the best i have ever eaten.

do yourself a favor and eat at here.

been going here since 2013 and the food taste the same! you can’t get their salt n pepper squid anywhere, it’s so good! especially the kingsfood special fried rice and the deep fried tofu with the perfect pairing of the sweet sauce. don’t sleep on kingsfood! it’s the og in market square.

great value for money with tasty dishes in generous portions. the small size hot and sour soup comes in a big bowl for only $5.50 which is big enough for two.

had the hainanese chicken rice (hcr) here with my friend (who is a regular). as someone who is from china and has a high standard for chinese food, i believe that kingsfood does a really decent hcr. the chicken is steamed to perfection, and the sauces that come with it are authentic. the cucumber is prepared traditionally, and they have made a decent attempt to replicate the rice. it should be cooked using chicken stock or chicken fat, but i think this was only done with very very diluted stock as there was only a slight chicken flavour. the rice itself was also a bit undercooked. finally, the soup that came with it was the soup of the day rather than the usual soup you get with hcr. still the best i've found in brisbane so far, though!

brisket noodle soup!! 💯 the fried rice was fairly small compared to rival restaurants in the area. apart from that good service and great food :)

our favorite restaurant in sunnybank. staff always friendly and efficient. food always meet our expectation. you come here for good food and good service, but don't have high expectation of the interior decoration. we will keep on coming back.

this is our favorite chinese/taiwanese restaurant in brisbane. lemon chicken and satay beef are the best. a great atmosphere and staff are always friendly and prompt.

i have been eating here for well over 10 years. best service and best food! thanks for your restaurant its my favourite place to eat! i try to eat there a couple of time a week at least. its delicious and affordable and very authentic. i have travelled throughout asia and still find comfort in knowing my favourite asian restaurant is located right in the heart of matket square! ❤

we keep going back.....everything about kingsfood is exceptional and the new building and works around it has not kept us away or caused any inconvenience. quality of food, taste, service, atmosphere fantastic. always seated fast, served fast with devine fresh hot meals that taste superbly yummy.

excellent food and friendly service. a fantastic menu. sichuan dishes the are flavoursome without being overpowering. great bubble tea selection. little bit adventurous to find but that's part of the charm. good parking. family friendly. highly recommended.
