this place is usually good, but yesterday my fried oysters were soggy. hopefully, this was just a one time glitch.

heading downhill. last year this place had the best crawfish. not sure what happened this year but they were absolutely awful. small and without much flavor. i should've guessed there would be problems when i saw the " no returns on crawfish" sign. if you go try other items.

shrimp po-boy was very good.. i had the shrimp poboy, with fries and an order of boudin. the poboy better than i expected, the bread was fresh, it was very similar to gambino's bread in new orleans, and the shrimp had a nice seafood taste to them without the breading ruining the flavor. the boudin was pretty good but were just a little bit too bland for my liking. i prefer my boudin to explode with flavor. others in my party really enjoyed the fried oysters, and alligator poboy while another didn't really care for the way the fried fish was prepared. it is not big on appearance but the food outweighed the ambience. overall, id give it 4 out of 5 stars on this visit.

good roast beef poboy, but muddy gumbo. had the roast beef poboy. came with gravy on, and fully dressed. only possible down side was that it was just on french bread, not leidenheimer or gambino's (which my wife assures me is important). overall it was excellent.

the gumbo, on the other hand, tasted like brown gravy with shrimp drowned in it. my wife simply said it was very muddy and not edible.

overall, i'd give it a thumbs up.

i was there to eat crawfish to go, the cashier won't even greet you. so rude. your food is good but if your attitude is like that better close down. and the worse part is, she just put our order in the table. and didn't even say a thing. we are customers whether you like it or not, you should be nice

fantastic boiled crawfish. it has been a year since i have enjoyed the mudbugs and kin's does it right. there were inexpensive and just the right amount of spice. when i come back to shreveport, i will visit this classic seafood restaurant again. service was quick and efficient.

just ok. the crawfish, catfish, aligator, and shrimp were all fried in the same "over the counter" fish batter. nothing special. in fact, it took away from the taste of the fish/shrimp/etc. the gumbo was lacking in more than one area....kind of like brown gravy with shrimp in it. although my post sounds negative, the food was okay overall just not what i expected out of louisiana seafood.

mixed feelings.  love the crawfish and corn and potatoes.  crab legs are yummy.  poboys are nice but they nickle and dime you over a side of butter or an extra tartar.  i hate that.  they are also are somewhat unfriendly and slightly rude.  that being said, its still my go to for to-go crawfish.  i tried to quit you kims but i couldn't.

first time here. the crawfish are huge. the crawfish are the best i've had in the shreveport/bossier city. sausage, corn and potatoes were cooked with right amount of spice. highly recommend this place.

kim's seafood is a restaurant who lied to the public after "hurricane katrina" to get grants to money from eastbank new orleans, la. to bossier city , la. they overcooked the crawfish last 4 time i've bought from them. unable to peel. when i complained after the 4th time . i was made fun of (for supposedly) not being able to peel them. refused to give $ for purchase back. they are an embarrassment to our city & the state. if they won trophys it's because they don't serve overcooked crawfish @ those contests. i will never set foot in kim's seafood ever again . nor will i recommend them again. they are as fake as fake can get.
