hooked on their shrimp po boy. this place is extraordinary fantastic. if you haven't eaten here you don't know what your missing. i have ate their shrimp po boy, catfish po boy & oyster po boy. all were great. i like their shrimp po boy better though. it is so crunchy. i bet they put about a 1/2 pound of popcorn shrimp in the 8" inch toasted buns. fantastic, just fantastic. you can't beat the service either. i hope to see you there.

will return!. i heard about this place on a tue morning and i was having the shrimp po-boy and fried rice for dinner. the food is sooo good!! not only is the food great, they give you enough to have left-overs. the po-boy and shrimp everywhere and i'm not kidding. i was expecting the little chinese to go container for the rice carryout. well i got that and then some b/c they put it in a container that you usually get for chinese buffett to go. everything was nice and i will be returning b/c i wold love to have some of the crawfish that was steaming from two in house diners tables. one guy said they weren't as spicy as they use to be, but they are still spicy. i was sold; i love spicy. keep up the good work kim.

while my favorite is the catfish poboy with fries and sweet tea, i love sitting in a restaurant watching people devour the spicy boiled crawfish from those big red buckets. must be really good because people just sit there chowing on 'em. next trip to shreveport i'm gonna get me some.

gambino bread. i am the salesman that sells him his bread. the bread he uses on the po-boy is gambino's. kim's is originally from south louisiana and they know true cajun food. this is one of my largest accounts and i can assure you the food is always fresh and delicious.

don't miss it. this is as good as it gets. down-home, affordable, friendly, clean. the food is fresh and cooked with experience. great poboys, bolied shrimp, boiled crabs.

i found kims here on us. i was a lortle skeptical but decided to try it based on their rating. after eating there i am surprised they don't have a 100% rating . the blue crabs were still alive when they were cooked, the bread was from gambino's, the shrimp and the frog legs were so fresh they tasted like they had just been caught. it is located in strip center in a low income area but the food and service are 4 star. you order at a counter and they bring the food to the table, but it is very clean and moderate priced .

broken hearted. went to kim's again yesterday... when i pulled in to the lot... noticed the "boiled crawfish" banner was gone.... walked in and saw no one was eating "boiled crawfish....... sure was brokenhearted. had my taste bugs geared up to eat my favorite (even though i had already eaten lunch... i was going to squeeze in two or three lbs. of crawfish.) no more this year!!!!! i'll go back today and eat some of the spicy boiled shrimp... i know they will be good... but i love the crawfish!!!! mike eads

delicious crawfish. i live in magnolia, arkansas and ate some crawfish locally at a place called "texas cajun crawfish co." a few days ago. was really disappointed in the quality and taste. i wish i had waited until i went back to bossier and ate them at "kim's" again. i can't convey my feelings on how good the crawfish are. the crawfish are outstanding in both size and quality. i've even considered a time or two to just drive down to bossier just to eat "kim's" crawfish. 160 mile round trip to just eat crawfish. it would be worth the trip!!!!!!!!!!

-----27 mar, 2010-----

killer crawfish. just ate those delicious crawfish again...... i live in arkansas
and used to live in so. louisiana in the early 70's. i used to think i had eaten some of the best down there. i have to say that these are absolutely the best i have ever eaten. they are always the same... excellent!!!! and big!!!!

-----23 mar, 2010-----

crawfish king!!!!. just ate crawfish again. what can i say? on a scale of 1 to 10... they are a 12!!!!! crawfish were big and as always... excellent!!!!!! you just don't get any better than these!!!!!
delicious!!!!!!!!! mike eads

strip shopping center restaurant with great crawfish. yes, it's a restaurant in a strip shopping center. yes, it's "order at the counter". yes, the furnishings and surroundings are "not upscale" (trying to be nice). but the crawfish are superb, the gumbo is delicious (although my friend complained about not liking the sage in it?), and their po-boys are excellent. a bit expensive (all seafood is it seems), but go there for the food, not the ambience.

good stuff. the place to stuff 'yersef real good.' strip mall, fluorescent lights, neighborhood joint. order at the counter and wait at a table for some of the best fried food in town.

the only down side was having to endure a patron sticking half a boiled crab in his mouth and spitting up the shells on his plate. truly disgusting! never seen anyone eat so darn fast in my life.

nice light batter on the catfish. good gumbo. chicken strips on kids menu had same nice light batter. wouldn't describe it as tempura batter as it had cornmeal in it as you would expect in this part of the country. would definitely go there again.

this place was a clean restaurant with mediocre food. it was kind of like a motel 6 in the sense that it is just ok. i had catfish and shrimp which was probably a mistake considering that all the locals were getting steamed crawfish. i probably won't go their if again if i pass through any time soon. also the catchup was watered down and they wanted to charge me for extra tar tar sauce so the servce was pretty bad.

real poboys here!. i have been in search of a real poboy since i moved here from new orleans over 25 years ago. they serve real poboys (i.e. on gambino's french bread) and all kinds of fried seafood as well as boiled crawfish with all the fixins. you just can't go wrong here!

the best fried catfish i've had!. the best fried catfish i've had! they use this asian-like tempura batter that is light & non-greasy. great crawfish too. fair prices & they serve beer. they have anything fried that you could want (besides fried oreos) & the largest selection of po-boys! small, doesn't look like much, but worth the stop, again & again.
