crawfish. not good. i can take some hot, but this was over the top "hot". the crawfish were mostly real small and didn't peel easily. instead of sliding out, the meat (what little there was of it), would break off, very frustrating. i don't recommend kim's

me and my girlfriend vary visiting from kentucky and i wanted a shrimp po boy and some boiled crawfish. this place was well rated, close, and fairly inexpensive for seafood. totally worth it. the shrimp po boy was massive and honesty one of the best sandwiches i've ever had. the crawfish were amazing if you like spice. might be a little over some people's spice tolerance though. all in all, amazing.

surprise lunch. a friend of mine called me and told me she was going to bring me lunch. when she arrived, i opened the container and there was a shrimp po-boy with so many shrimp on it they fell out of the sandwich. i really enjoyed it and plan on going there this weekend to see what else they have on the menu

the menu includes something like 150 items. one of those items, the strange and awesome crawfish egg roll, is as beloved by regular customers as it is hated by mr. duc. ask him about these crawfish egg rolls, and he gets visibly perturbed.

crawfish fan!!!. the best crawfish i've ever had! good flavor...not painfully spicy. i also enjoyed their fried local seafood (catfish, shrimp, oysters). the seafood was fresh and perfectly seasoned. the place was very clean and the service was friendly. kim's seafood definitely deserves a return visit.

not impressed. i got the catfish nuggets and they were cold, the gumbo had a consistency of thick gravy you put on mashed potatoes, and the alligator was so overcooked it was chewy. the cashier was less than cordial and couldn't put down her phone long enough to even look me in the eye when she was taking my order.

great food. the food is made fresh. best food item is the shrimp poboy. you get a pile high amount of shrimp on buttered french bread with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and mayo. it is delicious!

off the chain shrimp poboys with a redone u.s. flag with saints' colors and fleur de lis symbols for stars hanging on the wall. fried rice as a side tops the experience off.

it's a modest restaurant in a strip mall at the corner of texas street and benton road, and one that has steadily acquired a substantial reputation. the owners of kim's appear to be vietnamese who came from new orleans as a product of the katrina disaster. the culinary basis of this restaurant is founded on two solid traditions. you want napkins? kim's has napkins. kim's is a classic strip mall hole in the wall. you order at a countertop before you sit. the menu is a whiteboard above the cash register. napkins are a roll of paper, that you can tear off at will. chairs are made of hollow metal. the po boy featured good bread, and small dry spicy crawfish. the gumbo was disappointing. too much rice and not enough meat and broth. i honestly made a mistake when i came here. i ordered the crawfish po' boy, which while good, just didn't wow me. a lot more happy, almost bured in their food, were the folks who had ordered boiled crawfish. people were ordering and eating those by the buckets. t

rude service. kim's has the best crawfish in town. too bad that the employees are rude! when my party of six just just spent over 100 bucks i dont think you should make me go back to the table to get my purse and pay 87cents for 2 ounces of cocktail sauce (basically ketchup). and be rude about on top of that!
