here i am in minneapolis, minnesota in april, freezing and hungry! minneapolis has clearly not gotten the “it’s spring” memo! having left a much warmer denver at 6 am this morning, now dr. double portions (dp) has left me to fend for myself while she goes off and does some business thing that thank god i don’t have to do anymore! i love my foodie job!
clearly there are plenty of places to go in this wonderful town of foodies, and i opt for an oldie but a goodie in keys at the foshay on 9th st. so i bundle up against the cold and make the short trek on foot from the westin hotel on 6th. i’ve been to keys before withgreatnieces and nephews in tow and remember it to be good and sort of homey in a “welcome to our town” diner kind of way so i think, i’ll grab a quick bite. besides, i still have at least 3 hours before...
