one of the most lavish spread i have come across at a breakfast buffet is here at keshia. we got this complimentary with our stay at radisson kochi but its worth an experience even if asked for a pay. honestly the spread seemed never ending ; from too many options in every sections like bakery to english breakfast , cereals , eggs to order , southindianto northindian, compotes fresh fruits spreads and sauces , it seemed like an entire breakfast supermarket where one can get anything and everything that suits on a breakfast plate. the quality of food is phenomenal based on whatever i sampled , specially the cheese mushroom omlette was something i can remember for a lifetime. the interiors are done in white and green , brightly light throughout and is decent for a meal , but the extensive spread and superb quality of each item takes all the extra score for keshia.

just one word - awesome!

lovely and courteous staff and awesome food. we had the following (room service) :

1. vegetable biriyani
2. vegetable pulav and
3. chilly paneer

we were on lent so can't comment on non veg options. biriyani and pulav were top notch. rice were cooked to perfection along with lots of veggies to serve the idea of veg biriyani. accompanied by raitha, pappad and pickle.

loved the paneer in chilly paneer. not that spicy though but paneer was super yum. pretty decent quantity for 2 people and yeah they maintained the food quality as well. in short - a happy satisfied meal.

the breakfast buffet :

to my surprise, they had this amazing spread to satisfy all people whether it's veg/non veg.  they had north/southindianand continental breakfast options. staff were super friendly and helpful. the food taste and quality was splendid. one of the best buffets i have had in recent times.

i will be visiting them next time for sure :) cheers!

►location

sahodaran ayyappan road, elamkulam, kochi.

►menu

menu is very comprehensive that includes soups, appetizers, main course dishes, sandwiches & burgers, desserts. well, they have an impressive menu in a nutshell. by all accounts a definite winner !

►ambiance & decor

ambiance is really good. the place is immaculate with stunning interiors and live music being played over gives us a cozy and soothing atmosphere to dine here with friends and loved ones.

►service

service is very good. staffs are courteous and are very professional in their presentation.

►food

i was here only once for the dinner buffet. they have got a good spread of items for the buffet but most of the items were on the vegetarian side. a good collection of northindianveg dishes were there. there was one northindiandish made of chicken. it was less spicy. there was meen polichathu. it is considered as one of the most   expensive dishes in any hotel. but here as part of the buffet it was not made of karimeen ( pearl spot) . it was wrapped up in plantain leaf like the usual karimeen   polichathu. meen ( fish) polichathu was less salty as they didn't have much options in the non veg side. i had taken this dish many times in most of my turn to the   buffet counter. there was a dish called hunan beef in the counter . i had also tried this and it was good. they had got a good collection ofindianbreads like romali roti,   chappathi which were there as part of the buffet. a good variant under noodles and pulao were also there.both were good.

i had tried a variant under their mock tail segment. i don't remember the full name but it starts with strawberry something like that and the main ingredient used in that was 7 up.it was really luscious.

moving on to the desert. they don't have wide spread but decent spread of items under desert section. most of the desert items were different types of pastries and truffles. 2 variants of tart were there. and the commonly seen desert items like gulab jamun , ice cream were also there thus adding a good collection to their spread of deserts.

►cost

cost is always on the higher side as it is a 5 star hotel

►final word

one of the 5 star hotels in the city. its one of the renowned luxury hotel chain serving worldwide. great ambiance and stunning interiors. good spread of items on the buffet but more on the vegetarian side. try your luck.

went to keshia with a few friends on a saturday evening for their infinite festival which gives you unlimited food with unlimited drinks (selectindianonly) with live music performance. overall was not disappointing at all. starters were quite limited though with the chinese drumstick chicken being the best of the lot. the spread was quite a good one for the buffet with chats, chinese, kerala cuisine and little bit of continental stuff as well. the kerala cuisine was probably the best save for the duck mappas which probably was cause the birds used were of the broiler variety. the mexican chicken and the pork too was good. the desserts spread was equally nice. service was great and ambience of the place is also pretty neat with the furnishings and textures in a soothing green shade. will be definitely going back there one more time before the infinite festival ends.

this restaurant is quite good and serves authenticindianfood..ambience is average..we usually try the ala carte..the food is quite nice and staff are quite friendly..recommended tries are.. tikkas, mutton and chicken biryanis, phulka, murg pudina, shorba..but prawn biryani was awful..among desserts, blueberry cheesecake was nice..but juices and mocktails are bland..anothing issue is the food takes too much time to arrive..
