we ordered non veg thali. it had chicken biryani , chicken sukka , kori rotti , chicken curry , papad & salad. the quantity was more and satisfactory. loved the food. chicken curry and sukka taste was amazing . lovely staff andplace.

this is one of the best bar & restaurant in udupi and very near to the bus stand. i had a rollicking time munching on sea food delicacies and typical coastal fare. staffs were very helpful and co-operative. food is absolutely delicious and a recommendableplaceto visit with family and friends.

kediyoor gazebo restaurant is one of few non veg restaurants in main udupi town...being a temple city it's majorly a veg city...it is attached to kediyoor hotel...it's on the ground floor...
it's located right next to the city bus stand...
it is a nice restaurant...air conditioned with free parking...
try out for the kebabs and mangalorean styled biriyani...
this is the onlyplacein udupi i guess where we found mutton dishes...
also there is an ice cream parlor right next door...
food quality and quantity both are good...and wont pinch ur pocket that much...
ambience is also good...

the server was friendly but inexperienced but the food here tastes great, whenever i visit udupi this is myplaceto go.
the only drawback here is their price is too high as compared to their food and service.
but overall greatplaceto dine.

we have been coming here for the past 10 years , but this time we have had a very bad experience , hygenic level of thisplaceis not justified , thisplacefood is supposed to be good , but whats the use when they cannot maintain the hygeine level .very disappointed 😔

i have seen thisplacetransform from classic styled 90s restaurant to a modern styled. taste and food has been and is still great. traditional coastal dishes are made to perfect and one of the places for fish thali. they have come up with great innovation by serving different styles of biryanis.

kediyoor gazebo located near udupi bus stand is one of the oldest restaurants the city has. kediyoor gazebo is a perfectplaceif you come with your family and would like to have a nice seafood meal peacefully. their sea food thali is recommended. over the years theplacehas built a name and that results in a slightly expensive price tag on the food but nothing which you will regret eating once in a while. the service is excellent and so is the ambiance. to know more about my visit read on...

what we ordered:

tender coconut chicken- 5/5
you can choose amongst chicken,prawns and paneer as your main starter. the starter was yum and its presentation earned extra points.

murgh kastoori kebab- 3/5
this dish consists of around 6 chicken pieces marinated with green herbs. the chicken was a bit burnt and didn't taste great. it was served with some youghurt and mint chutney, which greatly enhanced the overall taste of the dish.

butter chicken- 3/5
this dish didn't really taste like 'butter chicken' and was bland.

matka biryani- 5/5
i haven't had many great biryani's in mangalore and this is the closest that i could find. the consistency of the chicken gravy and rice is great. it's served along with some raita and the quantity is good enough for 3 people.

mojito mocktail- 4/5
one can never go wrong with mojito. this one had chia seeds as an additional ingredient. anyway, it tasted great.

watermelon freez- 2/5
this drink had actual watermelon juice and ginger and not watermelon syrup which made it taste less of a mocktail and more of juice.

kediyoor gazebo is a greatplaceto hangout with friends and family. the ambience and service is nice as well.

i had been here for the very first time after having heard about thisplacefrom a several bunch of people. it seems to be pretty famous probably because it is one of the poshest restaurant near the udupi bus station. i am from mumbai and don’t really expect an excellent variety of north indian and continental cuisine in mangalore. but if at all i wish to be somewhere craving with the family outing, thisplacedefinitely goes down on my “visit again” list.
we ordered for the chicken non veg platter. it was above average and tasty.
we went ahead with chicken hyderabadi and butter chicken with tandoor. unlike a lot pf restaurants in karnataka, where there is this basic essence of spices in no matter whatever gravy or curry you order for; both the dishes had their own blend of spices. butter chicken could have been more buttery though.
then we had some plain white rice with fish curry which tasted pretty good as well.

wouldn’t really exaggerate about the food here. it is pretty much above average and trustworthy on quality and service with a comfort ambience and friendly staffs that too in aplacelike udupi. i was satisfied with the food and the service. so were my family members :)

kediyoor... aplaceyou just can't miss. located right behind the city bus stand. easy to spot. yummy food. great service. above everything else this is one of the oldest eateries in udupi. it has upgraded itself well with time. everything that we have tried has never disappointed us.
they will replace the dish if it's an error from their end, once they waited beyond their work hours, while i had to collect a delivery on my way back home at 11 45. it's moments and instances like these that makes memories stronger along with all those old ones.

drinks used to be pricey aswell but there has been a reduction in prices which is an added plus point.

quality/taste of the food has deteriorated, even though the price is same as other restaurants in this category. i loved visiting thisplaceevery time i came down to udupi. but this times dining at theplacewas not upto the mark. possibly a change in the chef cud be the reason for not getting the same taste that it had earlier.
