terribleserviceand food. the manager rubin, is living in a cloud of fear and anger. served us with the wrong meal then proceeded to blame our table. guy seems very unhinged from covid mandates. imagine if the most you can amount to in life is running a pub. must have really proud parents. avoid this establishment at all costs.

athomas. booked for 20 people on mothers day. was a bit worried thatservicewould be slow . the night was fantastic. lovely food, great service, can not complain about anything. the manager was very attentive and organised, hence the night went off without a hitch. highly recommend. the good was excellent. will keep going back.

excellentserviceand meals last night, both the lamb shank and spaghetti pollo e gamberi delicious and generous portions. most enjoyable before heading to the cygnet theatre to see a good movie. both great local como businesses. 👍

been wanting to try the karalee for ages. we had a table by the window with a great view of the sunset. the antipasto share plate for entree was delicious. the steak sandwiches for mains were worth the visit. beer was well priced andservicequick and effecient

best steak sandwich ever. greatserviceand nice atmosphere too. gets nice and busy in the restaurant. meals were served quickly and more importantly they were hot when they arrived at the table.

went for dinner tonight with friends and their 2 year old. we were all super impressed when they gave us a little activity pack for the toddler. it kept her pretty amused. i had the calamari and it was cooked perfectly. my partner had the chicken parmi which he enjoyed.
theservicewas quick and friendly. we will be back. the night was topped off with a beautiful sunset.

great pub experience. food was delicious - we had the steak sandwich, pork belly, risotto and calamari on our table and everyone loved all the dishes but it was theservicethat was the real standout. the staff were considerate, attentive and appropriate. i don't think i have experienced such greatservicein years and i eat out a lot. price was good too.

used to be a firm favourite however seems things have slipped somewhat. sunday afternoon, only 2 tables in the dining area seated and the bar area not even at 50% capacity. sat down in the bar area to a dirty table & chairs scattered everywhere. no staff at anytime offered to clean up around us. when the food was delivered, the burger was below average, just a mucky mess tbh & the bruschetta was standard. once again, nobody checking in to see how our meal was & then our plates left half empty for about 20 minutes & not being cleared because the staff were busy...doing nothing as the venue was empty compared to its busy times. all good & well to offer compensation when i complain, but it shouldn't have got to that stage. whatever happened to customerserviceor is it a venues god given right to expect me to hand over my cash for shoddy service. disappointed to say the least karalee. doubt i'll be back.

no great. i wouldn't eat here again. food very average at best and so over priced! not a very ambient venue either, no music or even tv volume. i wouldn't rush back.servicewas good but they don't check on your table or ask how things were. to be honest... i wouldn't either..😊

great local pub!
you get good pub food and goodservicehere. i had the lamb shank and it was delicious! would recommend for a casual night out with friends or family. much better food and value for money than any other pub in the area.

love this place being my 'local'. the food is always good and theserviceis friendly and attentive. you can always get a good steak here, & yummy comfort food. and let's not forget the perfect view of a sunset over the river.

went with a large group on a busy friday and our orders were handled really well. great selection of dishes and specials, very generous sizes. greatserviceand easy going atmosphere.

great place to catchup for afterwork drinks and am a really big fan of their steak sandwiches!

pretty standard sports bar vibe. food is decent, but not terribly original or unusual. serviceis ok but not terribly attentive. the view is pretty good though.

i met here as part of a group of 6 people. we got a crappy table in the corner and the rest of the restaurant was empty so it was confusing. sure enough though - the place was absolutely packed by the time we left so they were obviously all reserved. this place was okay. theservicewas veeeery average. we were seated at our table for a good 15 minutes before anyone bought us water. also, it was dead quiet when we got there so i don't see why they couldn't have taken our orders... but you have to order at the bar. some of the meals were so big that you could easily have gone halves with someone. the steak sandwich won some 'best steak sandwich of 2014' award. it did look pretty impressive and my nanna seemed to enjoy it (and she took the other half home in a take away container provided by the restaurant). we all ordered at the same time but our meals came out sporadically. most people were halfway through theirs by the time mine arrived. this always annoys me... anyway, i got the calamari and it was nice and tender. the chips were fresh and hot. the coleslaw was not very nice at all. the sauce was really runny and it was kind of bland. there was a bit of greenery under a lemon wedge but there should have been twice as much given that the rest of the meal was deep fried! the serving of fish and chips was huge (enough for two). the portion sizes are generous and the food is pleasant enough. the view from the other tables was nice. parking is easy to get as it is part of a shopping centre (kind of). i would go back here if i was closeby or there was an event or something but i wouldn't go out of my way to come back. it's nothing special - just your typical pub meal.
