lovely steak sandwiches, amazing service.. my boyfriend and i really enjoyed our steak sandwiches. reallygreatcoffee. the ginger beer is alcoholic just a warning for pregnant and breastfeeding mummas. over all we had agreattime and enjoyed the food and service, so much so that we are planning to return with our families. :)

athomas. booked for 20 people on mothers day. was a bit worried that service would be slow . the night was fantastic. lovely food,greatservice, can not complain about anything. the manager was very attentive and organised, hence the night went off without a hitch. highly recommend. the good was excellent. will keep going back.

excellent service and meals last night, both the lamb shank and spaghetti pollo e gamberi delicious and generous portions. most enjoyable before heading to the cygnet theatre to see a good movie. bothgreatlocal como businesses. 👍

final verdict:
agreatpub/hotel situated in como suited for families. friendly atmosphere and good vibes in there. but i was disappointed with the portion size of my food(risotto) since i paid so much for it. other than that, a pleasant experience in this pub but will think twice before i spend my money on food due to portion sizes.

been wanting to try the karalee for ages. we had a table by the window with agreatview of the sunset. the antipasto share plate for entree was delicious. the steak sandwiches for mains were worth the visit. beer was well priced and service quick and effecient

best steak sandwich ever.greatservice and nice atmosphere too. gets nice and busy in the restaurant. meals were served quickly and more importantly they were hot when they arrived at the table.

went here for dinner last friday with the family. had one fish and chips, one squid and chips and shared chilli mussels with my mom. glad we booked as all tables were reserved. super friendly and efficient staff and the food was brought out looking so fresh and delicious. lots of families and couples going for a meal out so they cater for all. super impressive and fast service! my father and brother loved the fish and squid. the portions were huge!greatvalue for money. enjoyed the chilli mussels with mommy but could have been a bit spicier hence why rating of 4.5. enjoyable night out and would recommend to all for a beautiful meal. beautiful sunset views as all make for an excellent experience. thank you ♥

great pub experience. food was delicious - we had the steak sandwich, pork belly, risotto and calamari on our table and everyone loved all the dishes but it was the service that was the real standout. the staff were considerate, attentive and appropriate. i don't think i have experienced suchgreatservice in years and i eat out a lot. price was good too.

while visiting jersey jacks i saw the sign 'best steak sandwich' across the road on a building. looking for a nice lunch on this sunny day so shot down for a look. fantastic location! the view varies from glimpses of the city to to full river. the open bifold windows made it a delight on a warm day (31deg). steak sandwich $25 and it was large! it hadgreatflavour and would be more than enough for any hungry human. the portion size of chips was just enough too. will be back but will squeeze in a dessert next time

busy butgreatfood. antipasto good size for two. easy friday night or weekend cosy meal. all meals i've had here have been good and good value - not cheap but portion are big

lunch at karalee on preston. excellent food and service withgreatviews of the river. we ordered pork belly which was beautifully cooked and presented and 'man-sized'. the wait staff were great, very attentive. definately making a return visit!!

highly recommended!!

a real tavern ... the karalee is a winner... there is a real buzz whenever you go there. its a cross between a sports bar and a lounge bar and agreatatmosphere. bar service is the best in the area and whatever they are doing there, both the windsor and como pubs both need to take note. its clean, staff are friendly and prices are normal unlike others. agreatplace to go and feel comfortable... only downside there is no outside area for non smokers buts ok.. its agreatplace.
