my first experience in kalsang, i tried both restaurants in mussoorie and dehradun and both amazed me with their quality of food and quantity of portions served,total value for money.must try.we tried chicken momo's, cheese chicken thukpa, veg cheese thukpa, mixed friend rice and chicken in garlic sauce, everything was amazing. portion size is huge so please bear in mind while ordering.

this place is really awesome if you are looking for some good chinese and tibetian food. the staff is friendly and ambience is also good.
their veg cheese thupka is really delicious.

i really love this place and its food stuff. the only problem i face is that most of the time when i tries to place an order online from this place, it says "closed for ordering". i wish you guys to fix this issue from ur side. rest everything is awesome. thanks

there is pork available which is not suitable place for muslims...i think zomoto should not include such type of hotel or restaurant.........

kalsang is a long dwelling restaurant in the city. they offer an amazing range of oriental cuisine. their food is lip smacking and is very pocket friendly in terms of quantity they offer for the price.
the staff is polite and accommodating.
i am a regular visitor at both their restaurant in mussourie as well as dehradun.
i can’t name one single dish as all the dishes they prepare are amazing.
the reason i chose to give 3 stars is because of service and wait time.
kalsang is always jam packed and there is a waiting line which is a good sign but they don’t have a proper management to look after the crowd. the orders are delayed, sometimes wrongly delivered and even the billing has mistakes. the servers are forever running.. earlier it used to be a weekend feature but now its kind of regular which is quite upsetting. we have almost waited for an hour on 2-3 occasions.
i hope they hire a competent manager to manage the floor so that the service matches their food standards.

pathetic service ...sat there for 15mins however no one came to serve. however your food may taste but if service is not good then i am afraid will not come back.

worst service ever. i literally waited for 20 mins for a bottle of water and even after calling multiple times, the waiters were ignorant. i’ll never visit the place and recommend people not to waste money on this shitty restaurant

a great place to get the feel of chinese/tibetan food in the winter of mussoorie. great staff. friendly service. their polite demeanor will make it easy for you to wait during rush hours. they could have guided us better w.r.t understanding the menu and placing our order. still a must visit.

i have always been a fan of kalsangs food ever since i had it the first time on mall road in mussorie. the food is always nicely done and the service also was pretty quick. one of the best places to dine if you’re a big fan of tibetan and chinese food.

ambience of the restaurant makes it special, the staff is ill mannered no comments on the food as i couldn’t get any . it took them 25 minutes to serve a fruit beer and the food, well it never arrived. the manager wearing black attire is a joke! pathetic experience.

the food was really delicious except drums of heaven which seems like a chicken leg piece was coated with gram flour and deep fried that too was undercooked. they can improve on their service because at 2 pm on an empty stomach one would rather have a proper meal than have waiters ignoring them. food yet was the best in the town. and about hygiene there were baby cockroaches roaming on the table. french fries were really good.

kalsang is my go to restaurant when i am in the mood for some authentic tibetan food. the ambience is nice and casual with notes from diners stuck all over. the food is good and never disappoints. i am big fan of their flat noodles and thupka. overall a good experience and a must visit when in dehradun

i would surely love to come here again. i like the ambience. food was also good. my taste buds loved the chicken wings😋 served to us. we also had some tasty momos😀, and green apple mojito (just ask to adjust sugar, it tastes good). they seems to have live music as well. i need to visit again for that.😁
