ambience - 3/5. it's not the best one out there but it works with the whole theme and scenario. look like a ancient chineserestaurantfrom the inside with red lighting throughout. there this iconic wall with currencies from all over the world stuck to it. the wall implies the footprint of people that have visited there from places outside india.

food - 4/5. i just love asian cuisine and they serve the best tibbetan dishes in town. they don't have every single thing in their menu but you will find some korean, thai and nepalese dishes in the mix. kimchi, devil's momo and shabhaley is a must try. not a big fan of that orange sauce kind of thing in they use in most dishes.

highly disappointing behaviour by therestaurant😡

one of the best chinese cuisine i have had in doon. this place has lived up to its hype for more than a decade. the location has a gorgeous view to enjoy from their window sitting and rooftop dining area. the staff is courteous and the food is to die for!

the eatery is done up in traditional chinese finery and in red with the usual chinese motifs adorning the walls.the place has a vintage touch of the 70s and 80s with the decor, which i personally liked. we always get a table in one of the well decorated cubicles (cozy, comfortable and private)

coming to the food, the choice of freshest meats from fish, prawn, chicken, lamb, pork and varied cuisines from cantonese to thai and tibetan to chinese are tantalising to choose from.
great, no frill, superb ingredients and tasteful. i’ll definitely run out of descriptive words to boast.

at last, the service.
it was prompt. the food came within minutes of ordering.

i read in some reviews where the people were not very happy with the service. but to me the service was just of the right measure. the staff did not intrude on your privacy, but were experienced enough to serve you the right thing at the right moment.
the price is like any other good chineserestaurantand the quantity is apt.

only frill, the parking outside is at times, difficult due to constraints on road space but nevertheless, i have always left with a happy experience otherwise.

went for a festive celebration but was very disappointed .the food came on time but the moment food came someone from the server came to inform pl give your last order as we are closing.
we never had a bite of the starters they were pushing us to give our last order .very strange no basic etiquettes , lacks that training .....the pork stir fried was absolutely bad and chewy and was returned back . the momos were ok. the main course was disappointing apart from the chicken wings which was nicely done . the sliced lamb was alo chewy . your chef needs a proper training or maybe food cooked in a hurry to go home, even while having the meal one of the floor manager came to tell pl hurry up with the meal we will be closing . its a shame for the establishment and a slap on the guest face who has come for a dining .if you cant cater or running short of time you should have told us at the first time while we entered therestaurant. we were seated and never informed .
i never wanted to create a fuss so went out quietly after finishing the food . the staff can be seen roaming inside with shorts and banyan and slippers .....strange how can the management allow that when guest are seated ....and shouting at top of the voice to each other .
will never recommend the place to anyone form outside dheradhun ...
shame on you guys and the management.

me and my friends came in kalsangrestaurantat first time . i had eat momo and chiken chilly dry . the food is so delicious and services so fast. thank you ..

kalsang has a really nice decor and the food tastes absolutely delicious, especially the sweet and sour crispy pork.

having said that, it does go overboard on prices for simple menu items like steamed momos.

the korean ramen is probably the one dish i'd never recommend. the ramen broth is bland and even the spicy version just adds a lot of heat while being devoid of any other flavors. the quantity of chicken in the ramen is somewhat lesser than what i'd want and the raw tomatoes are just no no. nobody puts raw tomatoes in a ramen.

other than that, you'd probably find no quality issues with the servings and if you can overlook the prices(clocking in at an average of 800-1000 for 2 pax) then thisrestaurantis for you.

the quantity and quality is good as usual. but the food was too spicy. also couldn't contact therestaurantto ask them to not add chili. the number they've uploaded doesn't work.

the food was amazing. it was exactly as spicy as i wanted it to be. generous serving of pork along with a bunch of vegetables. it was of the same quality that i would have got if i had gone to therestaurantto dine in.

the food here is great! asrestaurantchains go, this one is pretty great and i try to eat from one at least once and it never disappoints.
would recommend the noodles and the thukpas.

came here with such great expectations but i am extremely disappointed, i am writing this review while sitting at therestauranton the evening of 26jan. ordered for momo, mutton and noodles, unfortunately asked for some basil on noodles which they simply refused, i mean what is the big deal about few leafs of basil!!!?????? and you know there is no basic courtesy of refusing gracefully, the lady was extremely blunt with a bitter "no"
