thechickenthukpa is not really great. noodles are way too less and very short noodles. its mostly broth. also the service could be improved. the waiters are rude and can use some training on how to conduct themselves around patrons

order all mixed up. ordered mutton steam momos ,they delivered veg cheese momos. even mutton shaptak very bad preperation. only good thing waschickendevils momo

tried out this place while in dehradun. we ordered mutton momos,chickenmein fung soup,chickenshaptak with tingmo,chickenlollipop, chickenfried rice & chilli chicken. food was finger licking good, ambience was cozy & service was excellent!

went for a festive celebration but was very disappointed .the food came on time but the moment food came someone from the server came to inform pl give your last order as we are closing.
we never had a bite of the starters they were pushing us to give our last order .very strange no basic etiquettes , lacks that training .....the pork stir fried was absolutely bad and chewy and was returned back . the momos were ok. the main course was disappointing apart from thechickenwings which was nicely done . the sliced lamb was alo chewy . your chef needs a proper training or maybe food cooked in a hurry to go home, even while having the meal one of the floor manager came to tell pl hurry up with the meal we will be closing . its a shame for the establishment and a slap on the guest face who has come for a dining .if you cant cater or running short of time you should have told us at the first time while we entered the restaurant . we were seated and never informed .
i never wanted to create a fuss so went out quietly after finishing the food . the staff can be seen roaming inside with shorts and banyan and slippers .....strange how can the management allow that when guest are seated ....and shouting at top of the voice to each other .
will never recommend the place to anyone form outside dheradhun ...
shame on you guys and the management.

chicken spring rolls extremely bland .
chicken lollipop full of salt and no sauce , the prices were too tiny and thechickenwas of really bad quality , dsnt even taste likechicken. had to throw the lollipop totally .

recently the quality of food has gone down.chickenpieces in hot garlic gravy seemed stale. ruined the taste

kalsang has a really nice decor and the food tastes absolutely delicious, especially the sweet and sour crispy pork.

having said that, it does go overboard on prices for simple menu items like steamed momos.

the korean ramen is probably the one dish i'd never recommend. the ramen broth is bland and even the spicy version just adds a lot of heat while being devoid of any other flavors. the quantity ofchickenin the ramen is somewhat lesser than what i'd want and the raw tomatoes are just no no. nobody puts raw tomatoes in a ramen.

other than that, you'd probably find no quality issues with the servings and if you can overlook the prices(clocking in at an average of 800-1000 for 2 pax) then this restaurant is for you.

i ordered forchickenstir fried string bean where there's nochickenin the meal just the beans. how pathetic

dry chilliechickenwas not good..chickenwas rubbery and not at all fresh... infact taste was not upto the mark... same with chilli egg plant what we use to have before chilli eggplant... this eggplant was totally different recipe which we didn't like...

i dont have a pic as oil cant be seen as such but it tasted as raw n cheap oiled flavor as a street side joint . it was really bad as compared to kalsang musooriee joint . i was just crying for the raw huge chunks of green chillies that were a part of the so calledchickennoodles with hot basil leaves.

the food was so spicy and full of chillies that we were unable to eat. the manchurian was not adequately cooked with hardchickenand raw onion. never order from here.

i was in dehradun for a work trip and had heard alot about this place so i decided to order it online. i ordered a veg thukpa for myself and achickenmothuk for my colleague. even though the food came from far and it took 45 mins to the delivery my food reached me hot and fresh. the portion of thukpa was more than i could have it was so filling. the mothuk had 5 good size pieces of momos. the only thing i didn't like was that the momos got soggy in the broth i wish they had packed the momos separately like they did the noodles. the veg broth andchickenbroth was very favourful and had their own distinct flavour, one could make out the difference. i had a great experience and would reorder from this place if i visit dehradun again.

also the packaging was done nicely there was no spill. as the broth was sealed in a packet and the packet was well fitted in the soup bowl. one could easily pour the broth in the bowl assemble it with noodles and enjoy.

i ordered veg and nonvegmomos, paneer in hot garlic, assorted veg in shezwan, fish in blackbean sauce, pad thai noodles,chickenlollypop.. sadly the food lacked the authenticity that kinda always pulled us to kalsang.. every dish just had lot of onions.. and the gravies too weren't that great.. momos we liked.. rest a big thumbs down to kalsang.. and the service was poor too..
