best ever!!!. ohhh where do i even begin...from the service to the concern for customers....just loveliness....20 dollars for 2 burger and fries!!!...beat that!!!...its not just the price that isgreatevery mouth full of that burger is amazing...we can never get enough...if you are in the western-side you will totally love this shop which is a stone throw away...and i shall be going again really soon....:)

came here on a vegan monday night. it’s in a small shopping centre, they had lots of numbered tables and a singer for the night. we had a i’m a vegan and hommus to god burgers and a honeycomb milk. they were also eager to sell us chips. iav burger was amazing, tasted just like some meat somehow. htg burger also agreatmix of sauces and herbs and lettuce and veges. who needs meat?

my all time favourite place to eat! been there dozens of times and can never fault it. staff is wonderful as always. exceptional service andgreatfood.

one of the the first thing i learned when i got my braces is that, i cannot eat a gourmet burger because i cannot open my mouth enough to take a decent bite and do not have the bite strength to get through the burger in one bite. i have to now carefully deconstruct my burger into small bite sized pieces so that i can chew it on the only functional side of my mouth, the left hand side. this obviously affected this post, i will have to re-review in 2 years once the braces come off. that and the fact that my fussy godson wanted to be held at all times stopped me from eating much.parking is an easy find here but you may struggle due to the sheer traffic that just poppys has! they bloody work fast though i tell ya! the service is quick and efficient too!

i got the satay cheezy wheezy, these chips were damn good and came with the option of regular or chicken salt in additional to the cheesy satay sauce. the sauce is a hand made satay sauce with spicy complexity beyond just peanuts and coconut milk or cream! lots of chunky bits of lemongrass and a mild chilli kick to keep things interesting. i liked the cheese too but i always do! 

i got the 3 little pigs, pork patty, pork riblet, bacon, mushrooms, double cheese, fried onions and plum sauce. every nibble i ate was good, but i had to have them all separately due to braces and a fat baby in one arm. i ate all the tender riblet, ate a slice of the thick cut bacon when it was cold and by the time i got to the patty, it was also cold and starting to crumble a tiny bit. i was also able to pick off the mushrooms and onions to eat them. the plum sauce was agreatsweet and sour addition to this burger, i ate that with the bottom half of the burger and bits of the riblet too, that much i could manage.

michelle got the cheese me please! meat patty, purple onion, lettuce, tomato, beetroot and sauce, she said the patty was very juicy and enjoyed the combo of flavours. i pinched her chips too.

the burgers are interesting here and well priced, give it a crack. probably don't if you have braces like me however. or do, its up to you!

extensive menu that can easily cater to all types of dietary requirements (including vegan/vegetarian).greatfor a cheap but quality meal with fresh ingredients! definitely a place to go back for more :)

consistentlygreattasting old school burgers loaded with ingredients. 69 different combinations to choose from and i have not had one that was not good. be ready for feast because each burger is massive. the loaded ones are unfinishable for me.

do yourself a favour and get some beer battered chips. they are highly underrated.

i have come here for nearly a decade now and always swing by when i am back from out of town.

only downside would be the hidden location but the friendly staff and taty food makes up for that! definitely worth the drive.

went here on the weekend. it was busy but the service was quick and friendly. we changed the burgers a bit and they got the order correct. burgers were great. partner rates them higher than grill’d and burger urge. only disappointment was the sweet potato chips were overcooked. the onion rings weregreatthough. highly recommend giving this place a go. we got take away and went to a local park to look at the river whilst eating but they have plenty of nice timber tables to eat at as well.

hidden away in an obscure shopping centre in riverhills, this family run business serves what is probably brisbane's best burger and definitely brisbane's best value burger. there is an extensive menu so there will be something to suit everyone and the burgers are amazing - madegreatquality meat and toppings. the burgers are made with love and pride and the service is friendly and welcoming. it's definitely worth the 40 minute drive from our place.

we have been here a number of times. it is literally the closest restaurant to our house. always agreatexperience...we had a fantastic lamb burger with sweet potato fries. nice outdoor eating area. highly recommended.

went for the first time a few days ago & will absolutely be back. the location is tucked away in a little shopping village. the counter service was fantastic, super friendly & helpful. our order came out promptly, fries weregreat& the burgers divine!greatexperience, we look forward to working our way through the menu in the future.

burgers like we remember as kids. have been waiting to try this place. ordered the beer battered fries which are enormous!
had a comfort burger and a river hills burger which were perfectly seasoned and cooked.
just poppies takes a no frills, quality approach that is an absolute winner. theses burgers are absolutely awesome.greatbread, and well sourced ingredients. i will definately go out of my way to come back.

we had heard about just poppy's, and after a while we decided to try it out. as we are not locals to the area, we made the hike down to middle park. with all the other burger options around, a burger place need to have something special to go there. all i can say is that, it doesn't matter where you live, it is a worthwhile trip to make!

our first time there, we were absolutely overwhelmed like most people with the range of burgers. thank goodness it was busy so we had more time to peruse and pick. the menu is quite expansive, as they promote "69 bloodygreatburgers". you can order a burger with either chicken, lamb, pork, fish, rib fillet, meat free, and hamburger. some of the fillings are different but blend really well. the staff are delightful and really make you feel at home straight away.it has a feeling of a family business. apparently it has been there for 10 years. we decided and ordered our food. considering how busy they were, meals do not take long to make. we received our meals and headed home. as the trip home took a good 15 minutes, the burgers were still very fresh and tasted so great! the ingredients are fresh and the work well with whatever meat you are having.

since that first adventure to just poppy's, we have been there half a dozen times trying to work our way through the menu. the hardest thing is probably wanting to try all of the menu but also wanting to order ones that you already have had as it was so delicious! not a bad problem to have really! so far, the picks have definitely been 3 little pigs, calypso and the cowboy. they all have different elements that work so well with the burger. they also have chips with different sauces and the usual snack hot box range, but that just fills you up from the burger. just poppy's is a place that should be tried!

definitely the best burger joint on the western side of brisbane. huge burgers and generous servings of everything else!
b & e burger was fabulous along with the cup of sweet potato chips. only slight problem was not enough aioli with the chips - but since i'm a die-hard sweet potato foodie, that was easily overlooked.
