wow this place is fantastic! i honestly don't think you're going to find a better burger in brissie. they burgers taste delicious and are so generous, with really fresh ingredients. i am so keen to try all of them! we drive all the way from the north side to get them, and it is always worth it, plus the beer batteredchipsare ridiculously good as well!

you will stop calling what you get at mcd and hjs as 'burgers' after you eat the burgers from this place. the burgers withchipsare just amazing.

very tasty home style burgers.chipswere crunchy and extremely well priced. we hadchipsfor two. we will be coming back. fresh ingredients, our burger was cooked the way we like it. we were impressed at how cleanliness and health was a priority with social distancing measures. staff were more professional than your average fast food takeaway store.

the burgers are akin what you’d imagine making on australia in a backyard bbq. standard bun, usual vegetables and sauces. not amazing, nothing fancy but good for the price. the size of the chip servings are so generous and delicious. would come here forchipsonly if wanting a snack.

came here for a burger as we have been here before. saturday night, and it was busy just before dinner time 7pm. this place is located in the suburbs at a small shopping complex.

plenty of tables, order at counter and food is table service. big menu and plenty of options.

i went with the hangover burger, familychipsto share. as there were 5 of us in total.

was a busy period and the wait was expected which we didn't mind.

what came out was a large burger. it was a decent burger, was hard to eat however all the elements were there, beef pattie, bacon, egg, and salad. most burgers at this size will fall apart, just nature.

they were good, we all enjoyed the food.

one of the the first thing i learned when i got my braces is that, i cannot eat a gourmet burger because i cannot open my mouth enough to take a decent bite and do not have the bite strength to get through the burger in one bite. i have to now carefully deconstruct my burger into small bite sized pieces so that i can chew it on the only functional side of my mouth, the left hand side. this obviously affected this post, i will have to re-review in 2 years once the braces come off. that and the fact that my fussy godson wanted to be held at all times stopped me from eating much.parking is an easy find here but you may struggle due to the sheer traffic that just poppys has! they bloody work fast though i tell ya! the service is quick and efficient too!

i got the satay cheezy wheezy, thesechipswere damn good and came with the option of regular or chicken salt in additional to the cheesy satay sauce. the sauce is a hand made satay sauce with spicy complexity beyond just peanuts and coconut milk or cream! lots of chunky bits of lemongrass and a mild chilli kick to keep things interesting. i liked the cheese too but i always do! 

i got the 3 little pigs, pork patty, pork riblet, bacon, mushrooms, double cheese, fried onions and plum sauce. every nibble i ate was good, but i had to have them all separately due to braces and a fat baby in one arm. i ate all the tender riblet, ate a slice of the thick cut bacon when it was cold and by the time i got to the patty, it was also cold and starting to crumble a tiny bit. i was also able to pick off the mushrooms and onions to eat them. the plum sauce was a great sweet and sour addition to this burger, i ate that with the bottom half of the burger and bits of the riblet too, that much i could manage.

michelle got the cheese me please! meat patty, purple onion, lettuce, tomato, beetroot and sauce, she said the patty was very juicy and enjoyed the combo of flavours. i pinched herchipstoo.

the burgers are interesting here and well priced, give it a crack. probably don't if you have braces like me however. or do, its up to you!

looks can be deceiving.. upon getting out my vehicle and seeing a dilapidated plaza i thought i might have to carry a piece on me for protection. turns out the only thing i did need was a nappy. i loaded up on 2 burgers andchipsfor a budget price and was ready for the fetal position with no intention of leaving the couch as my nappy would fulfill its purpose. with poppy’s you get no bullshit.. just good old fashioned burgers. touché

went here on the weekend. it was busy but the service was quick and friendly. we changed the burgers a bit and they got the order correct. burgers were great. partner rates them higher than grill’d and burger urge. only disappointment was the sweet potatochipswere overcooked. the onion rings were great though. highly recommend giving this place a go. we got take away and went to a local park to look at the river whilst eating but they have plenty of nice timber tables to eat at as well.

im the type of man who likes heaps on his plare, ill demolish 2 woppers from hungry jacks no worries and to be honest, theses burgers are pretty good value for money. add achipsand gravy and you've got yourself a good feed with brilliant speedy service to top it off

we had heard about just poppy's, and after a while we decided to try it out. as we are not locals to the area, we made the hike down to middle park. with all the other burger options around, a burger place need to have something special to go there. all i can say is that, it doesn't matter where you live, it is a worthwhile trip to make!

our first time there, we were absolutely overwhelmed like most people with the range of burgers. thank goodness it was busy so we had more time to peruse and pick. the menu is quite expansive, as they promote "69 bloody great burgers". you can order a burger with either chicken, lamb, pork, fish, rib fillet, meat free, and hamburger. some of the fillings are different but blend really well. the staff are delightful and really make you feel at home straight away.it has a feeling of a family business. apparently it has been there for 10 years. we decided and ordered our food. considering how busy they were, meals do not take long to make. we received our meals and headed home. as the trip home took a good 15 minutes, the burgers were still very fresh and tasted so great! the ingredients are fresh and the work well with whatever meat you are having.

since that first adventure to just poppy's, we have been there half a dozen times trying to work our way through the menu. the hardest thing is probably wanting to try all of the menu but also wanting to order ones that you already have had as it was so delicious! not a bad problem to have really! so far, the picks have definitely been 3 little pigs, calypso and the cowboy. they all have different elements that work so well with the burger. they also havechipswith different sauces and the usual snack hot box range, but that just fills you up from the burger. just poppy's is a place that should be tried!

absolute plethora of choices, so hard to decide. i got the jamaica but the banana was quite strong and kinda muted the rest of the burger, is served on a turkish bread style bun which i'm not a big fan of. good price, nice staff, decent ingredients, quick service but a boring atmosphere. can't recommend getting thechipswith gravy, they were swimming. would definitely go back, i think our choices in what we got marred our experience and the rating reflects that, next time i'd get either the sweet potatochipsor maybe the satay fries and a more normal burger. definitely worth checking out though.

definitely the best burger joint on the western side of brisbane. huge burgers and generous servings of everything else!
b & e burger was fabulous along with the cup of sweet potato chips. only slight problem was not enough aioli with thechips- but since i'm a die-hard sweet potato foodie, that was easily overlooked.

really great burgers at a good price! caters for vegetarians and vegans too. thechipsare really tasty as well. it's located in the western suburbs, but is worth the drive for a cheap, good feed. the owners are lovely too.

really fantastic burgers at a very reasonable price. the beer battered fries and sweet potatochipsare amazing too. huge serves, we could have shared a burger between 2!
