julius had already managed to attain a reputation for delicious pizza, pasta and authentic italian food. located in a lane way in south brisbane, near the southbank precinct but far enough away to not be solely focussed on tourists.
getting a table was a bit of an ordeal, 5 of us. we started at the bar with drinks and garlic bread.... after about 15 minutes a couple of tables left and we’re joined together to create a table for us.
service fast paced and efficient
good menu selection, great wine list.
pizza oven working overtime delivering thin delicious pizzas- no gluten free bases.
good anti pasto, risotto and other options.
very good coffee.
it’s busy, high energy and noisy.
