perfect service,goodfood.. we went here a couple of weeks ago on a friday night - two of us - sat at the bar for about 30 minutes - great atmosphere. got our table and food really quickly. great service. food was good. to compare, we had exactly what we usually have at il posto at paddington. while the food at julius is good, i reckon il posto is a bit better. but the service and atmosphere at julius is great. so much better than beccofino. we'd definitely go back to julius.

great can do place. buzzing , terrific food and service. authentic italian. had a line outside at 530 on a weekday night but got us in pretty quickly after a nice drink at the bar .goodspot

new favourite italian restaurant!. we went to julius pizzeria last night after hearing so many great reviews - it was absolutely delicious. given it was a saturday night, as expected, it was quite busy but we luckily got a table on arrival (we got there at 6:00pm). i have seen reviews of people being annoyed because they have to wait but i'm not sure what else they expect when the restaurant clearly states on their website that they don't take bookings after 6. i also can't fault the staff either - our waitress was so lovely and helped us choose a wine that we liked as well as getting the chefs to make a pizza for us that wasn't on the menu (it was a special from the previous week). she also came to double check with us because they weren't cutting the pancetta in their usual way & she wanted to see if this was ok. verygoodcustomer service. dinner was delicious - we had 2 pizzas and finished both of them between the two of us. the bases were the perfect thickness/crispiness & the toppings were so full of flavour and freshness. it was my first time at julius but it definitely won't be my last! definitely recommend it to anyone looking for some delicious italian food!

service was friendly and attentive. it's causal but not too casual.

we had a pretty huge meal and they gave us a round of lemoncello on the house.

we tried a broad range of the menu, felt like pretty legit italian food. will definitely return.

my wife - who's pretty picky about italian food - said the ragu sauce on the duck papadelle was the best she's ever had!!! i really like exploring lots of new places, but julius was sogoodwe might go two nights in a row!

date night done well 😊 writing this review after my second time being here - second time being just asgoodas the first! this time, the bf and i ordered two pizzas to share. we chose their ever so popular (and withgoodreason) tartufo pizza, as well as the gamberi piccanti pizza. both were delicious in their own ways, though my favourite was definitely the tartufo pizza! service was super friendly and very prompt - overall, just another stellar night at julius pizzeria 😊

sweet baby jesus. i had heard the rumours about the delicious truffle pizza that they have here but i didn’t realise howgoodit really was!. we went late one night and started with bread sticks and fat olives. we followed with the duck ragyu and the best pizza i have had yet in brisbane, the tartufo. tartufo has mozzarella, smoked bacon, portobello mushrooms, stracchino and truffle paste. ommmmm.

if you wanna reward yourself with some reallygoodpizzas and pastas, you know where to head to 😉
p.s. seats tend to run out pretty quickly too, so it’s recommended to make reservations beforehand!

if my review was to be based purely on their calamari fritti, i would without question give the restaurant a 5/5. the calamari was ever so light, tender & flavoursome.  the serving size was generous for the price. my only small suggestion would be to have slight restraint on the salt content but otherwise, a phenomenal dish.  we also shared a tartufo pizza which whilstgoodi was disappointed with.  i thought that the pizza would be the star dish but unfortunately the base was a tad burnt & slightly tough for my liking.  the smokey bacon on the pizza was lovely except for the odd bit of rind.  the restaurant has a nice vibe.  i enjoyed watching the chefs at play in the open kitchen.

fell in love. thought the tartufo pizza was prettygoodlike everyone says but the stars have gotta be the calamari and the duck ragu pasta!! order the calamari in the large serving, you won’t be disappointed! service was also nothing short of excellent - the staff were so friendly and attentive, and food came out altogether within 20mins! couldn’t fault my experience today.

i normally don't stray from tomato-based pizzas but if you're also a foodie, order the tartufo.. it's life changing.

we also ordered a serve of calamari, which was a massive portion. thin, tender with a crispy batter. very tasty.

yum, yum, yum & yum! there are so manygooddishes at julius. some of my highlights include the salsiccia and funghi misti pizza. however, my favourite thing to eat there is the calamari. it is so light, salty and delicious - truly a delight!

on this occasion, my dining companion and i decided on pasta. i ordered the duck ragu pappardelle and my companion ordered the tiger prawn pasta (but substituted for linguini). my pasta was so rich and i could barely finish it. the duck was so tender and well flavoured.

we had pizza and pasta - they are both reallygoodand fairly priced- but honestly, you only pay for the food- and you get what you pay for.

i would definitely go back - just for the food.

well i guess if i were younger i could be more furious with the service- but not now - at least they serve decent food 😋

ordered the calamari, the marinara deluxe pizza, and the pappadelle duck pasta... all of it was amazing! to top it off service was friendly, professional... couldn't have asked for a better dining experience!

i’ve been here a few times now and every time has been so amazing. it’s off the menu now but the prawn and squid ink pasta was my favourite. the mushroom pizza is also great. everything is, including the wine list.

i love the loud and lively atmosphere. it’s pretty much guaranteed agoodnight.
