jo's diner

rush you in and out cold food. we have eaten at jo’s since they were at their old location. food quality has always been good and until recently we enjoyed eating there. however, the last two times we were there the hamburger steaks were served lukewarm and almost cold. we did not complain but were disappointed. the last time waitresses were in such a hurry to bring our check that we had to ask for desserts. onewaitresseven tried to pick up my plate before i finished eating. i hate being rushed when i eat and don’t appreciate cold food. we won’t be going back nor will we recommend it to our friends as we have in the past.

the food was decent but the service was not okay. thewaitresswas rude and we had to keep flagging her down for things like napkins because she never gave us any. she had a really horrible attitude.

love that place.. my boyfriend and i stop by almost every week! the food is great, and the only time i've had a problem with the employees.. onewaitresswas very obvious about flirting with my boyfriend while on shift. whenever she came to our table, she spoke directly to him, and only him. she asked if he needed anything. it doesn't sound like a big deal.. but when we ordered our milkshakes, thewaitressdecorated his beautifully with syrup and whipped cream. mine was completely plain. she was very unprofessional. every other time i've gone to eat there, though, my waitresses were wonderful. especially the short redhead with the pretty eyes... she was very sweet and made sure we knew all our options (for our sides and milkshakes) and she was able to answer any questions we had.

came in early friday morning food was awesome! loved the theme and how casual the diner was! but ourwaitresswasn't the nicest. she seemed aggravated when we asked her for extra jelly!! but other than the service the food was awesome i will deffinetely be returning!

diner. it's pretty great. cheesy diner decor. friendly staff. average food.

one time i ate breakfast there, the bacon came out burned. they happily redid that for me and i was pleased with the way mywaitresshandled it.

great coffee. good grits.

they gave me a senior discount, not sure i deserved it as my age is less than senior. been white-haired since i was 30...

too salty, not cooked well. sorry to say my experience wasn't the best at jo's diner this evening. we went at 8:00 pm on a saturday night. there were 3 girls working, or maybe 2.waitressdidn't get to us to take our order. granted she was busy making a shake for a boy at the counter. the otherwaitresshelped us when she found we hadn't given our order. the meal was blazzay, way too much salt was on the burger. it was red in the middle. i don't like to normally give bad reviews but i would have been happier if i had ate at mcdonald's. sorry:(

not impressed. place got good reviews here, but our experience was not good. came in at about 8:00pm on a saturday. only a few customers but had to look for a clean table.waitress#1 took or drink orders then disappeared for a while. after about 10 min or sowaitress#2 stopped stacking menus and asked us if we had ordered yet. she took our order and then went to the bar wherewaitress#1 was flirting with a couple of young guys there. when the order came up it was brought to our table except for the milkshake i asked to come out with the meal. after some more bar-side flirtations, it was brought out in time for me to have it as desert. hamburgers were charred on the outside and raw in the middle and very salty. this place definitely needs adult supervision on the weekend. i guess everyone is entitled to an off night, but it will be some time before i try this place again.
