we have been going to thisplaceforever and never had a problem until today. they seated us and we waited at least 5-10 for so,rome to wait on us. and no they were not busy at all. finally she came and took the order. it was grout to us . when we were done it too us at least 15 or 20 minutes for her to give us the bill. that's why i gave it a one today. the girl h a ponytail and short shorts on.

diner is a little misleading but it is a decent little stop. the 50's stuff on the wall is cutesy...and it has a bar with stools, but it is not a diner.

it's an ok littleplacefor breakfast. i don't know that i'd go there for lunch. service was good, and he food was reasonably priced.

nothing special though. it's easy to forget or pass by.

always reliable!. thisplacenever disappoints! i haven't had anything on the menu i didn't like so far. food is great at a good price, and service is great with a smile as well.

jo's is set up as a retro diner with a definite 50's vibe. the breakfast is good, the blue plate specials are okay, and i love their patty-melts! a niceplaceto stop for a laid back meal.

thisplaceis what you expect in a diner dive. food here is consistent and the service is average. greatplacefor lunch, not overly expensive either. i will be back.

terrible! got the blue plate special. country fried steak, mac and cheese, fried ocra, and green beans. first off it took about 45 minutes to get my food, but at least the waiter was good. the food tasted like they microwaved a frozen dinner and replated it. the mac and cheese tasted like it came from a box, the country fried steak and ocra was soggy, and the beans were so over cooked they had no texture. i ate what i could because i was starving and didn't want to wait any longer. i had good hopes about thisplacefrom all the good things i've heard, but what a let down.

this is my new favorite place. of course they have a great burger. anyone can do that. the blue plate is pretty good if you're into that. my favorite thing there is their italian/pasta dishes- it's really good stuff. i've had their lasagna and chicken alfredo. i have no complaints. add a pleasant wait staff and thisplaceis a rare gem.

racist & filthy!!!!. the male waiter served the older white couple before my wife and i. we were clearly there first. glasses are filthy. piss poorplacefor flowood. mcdonald's has better breakfast. i will never eat there again. very disappointing....

jo's diner has the best breakfast, lunch and dinner in town for great prices!!! the staff is amazing and my kids love to eat there. i can't imagine thisplacegetting any bad reviews. anywhere you go is going to have it's ups and downs, but jo's "ups" definitely outweigh its downs!!! if you want somewhere to take your family and don't want to spend an arm and a leg, this is theplaceto go!

it's good. but service is always awful, takes forever to get food, and god forbid you should want a drink or coffee refill -because that will take thirty minutes. frustrating place, yuh really want it to succeed but theplaceneeds a competent manager and someone /anyone that can address the staggering inefficiency of the staff. sorry, thumbs down.

not impressed.placegot good reviews here, but our experience was not good. came in at about 8:00pm on a saturday. only a few customers but had to look for a clean table. waitress #1 took or drink orders then disappeared for a while. after about 10 min or so waitress #2 stopped stacking menus and asked us if we had ordered yet. she took our order and then went to the bar where waitress #1 was flirting with a couple of young guys there. when the order came up it was brought to our table except for the milkshake i asked to come out with the meal. after some more bar-side flirtations, it was brought out in time for me to have it as desert. hamburgers were charred on the outside and raw in the middle and very salty. thisplacedefinitely needs adult supervision on the weekend. i guess everyone is entitled to an off night, but it will be some time before i try thisplaceagain.

simply the best, oldie but goodie.... jo's diner in brandon, ms is a greatplacefor breakfast, lunch and dinner. they have homecooked meals, freshly prepared for you...it is home cooking at its best. when my nephew moved there 4 years ago, he was tired of fast food and then he found jo's. he went in, sat down, it was a modern version of the 50's era. he ordered the meatloaf, rice and gravy and he loved it. he is from louisiana where the food is great and he said that it is right up there with that. he then went in for breakfast with his baby girl and ordered the grits, eggs, bacon and toast with chocolate milk breakfast for 2. they loved it. it was served fresh, hot and delicious. if you are in the brandon area, make it a point to visit jo's for some down home cookin'...you will fall in love with it yourself...and the people are friendly and great.

jo's is the best!. jo's dinner is a wonderully upbeatplaceto dine. their prices are very reasonable. you receive quick service from polite staff! i personally love their breakfast items!

breakfast anytime!!!. i am one of those old traditionalist when it comes to breakfast - and i like breakfast all the time - eggs over easy with toast, hash browns, sausage, and a side of grits. and the bestplacei know of in jackson is at jo's diner. you walk in, and you're in the 50's again, which is very cool. traditional diner counter with the spinning stools, over-stuffed booth's, b & w checkered floor, neato memorabilia on the walls, and one of the coolest juke boxes ever in the corner. the food is served fast & hot, and the girls are some of the friendliest in the city. prices cant be beat, and the daily special is one of the best deals in town (love those spaghetti days!!!) strip center parking makes for easy in / easy out. want breakfast for lunch or dinner? this is the place!!!
