we have been going to this place forever and never had a problem until today. they seated us and we waited at least 5-10 for so,rome to wait on us. and no they were not busy at all. finally she came and took the order. it was grout to us . when we were done it too us at least 15 or 20 minutes for her to give us the bill. that's why i gave it a one today. the girl h a ponytail and short shorts on.

rush you in and out cold food. we have eaten at jo’s since they were at their old location. food quality has always been good and until recently we enjoyed eating there. however, the last two times we were there the hamburger steaks were served lukewarm and almost cold. we did not complain but were disappointed. the last time waitresses were in such a hurry to bring our check that we had to ask for desserts. one waitress even tried to pick up my plate before i finished eating. i hate being rushed when i eat and don’t appreciate cold food. we won’t be going back nor will we recommend it to our friends as we have in the past.

diner is a little misleading but it is a decent little stop. the 50's stuff on the wall is cutesy...and it has a bar with stools, but it is not a diner.

it's an ok little place for breakfast. i don't know that i'd go there for lunch. service was good, and he food was reasonably priced.

nothing special though. it's easy to forget or pass by.

always reliable!. this place never disappoints! i haven't had anything on the menu i didn't like so far. food is great at a good price, and service is great with a smile as well.

good breakfast. not a whole lot in the area. kind of a cheesy feel in the restraunt. all around pretty good food and good price. i would give them 3.7 for sure.

awesome french toast. sweetest hostess so friendly. no wait. food is great! fried green tomatoes are so good and best veggie plate. love the pics of marilyn monroe and elizabeth taylor and james dean! nice drink menu too!

the food was decent but the service was not okay. the waitress was rude and we had to keep flagging her down for things like napkins because she never gave us any. she had a really horrible attitude.

jo's is set up as a retro diner with a definite 50's vibe. the breakfast is good, the blue plate specials are okay, and i love their patty-melts! a nice place to stop for a laid back meal.

jo's has a great modernized retro diner feel serving your basic breakfast items. tried the cajun crawfish omelette w/ grits & toast which were simply good and the service was very prompt and pleasant. literally was in and out in under an hour. would return for a lunch blue plate soon.

this place is what you expect in a diner dive. food here is consistent and the service is average. great place for lunch, not overly expensive either. i will be back.

i have been here a number of times and i've only gotten hot food because one of the waiters knew me and told them i had yet to have a good experience there. on a previous visit i was sitting at the bar relaxing and a very old obnoxious high school girl come through the tables talking as loud as she could about indecent topics to be heard by customers and children. hold your servers to a higher standard.

terrible! got the blue plate special. country fried steak, mac and cheese, fried ocra, and green beans. first off it took about 45 minutes to get my food, but at least the waiter was good. the food tasted like they microwaved a frozen dinner and replated it. the mac and cheese tasted like it came from a box, the country fried steak and ocra was soggy, and the beans were so over cooked they had no texture. i ate what i could because i was starving and didn't want to wait any longer. i had good hopes about this place from all the good things i've heard, but what a let down.

this is my new favorite place. of course they have a great burger. anyone can do that. the blue plate is pretty good if you're into that. my favorite thing there is their italian/pasta dishes- it's really good stuff. i've had their lasagna and chicken alfredo. i have no complaints. add a pleasant wait staff and this place is a rare gem.

my friends and i love jo's. it's one of the very few places we can go and eat anything off the menu (instead of just breakfast) and drink after getting off of work in the mornings. in fact, everybody in the hospital talks about going to jo's after work. yall rock!

jo's is a staple for the guys at my office.  from the daily blue plate lunch special, to the chicken salads, we've about tried them all and no complaints.  the staff is always friendly and on time, and the lunch is always hot and tasty.  one day i might like to try the breakfast...
