good food, terrible service. my family ate here for the first time yesterday. it was a saturday but barely halfway full. it took at least 15 minutes to take our order after getting our drinks. we told our sever we were ready and she said hold on and it took 7-10 more mins of waiting. she told my sweet 14 month old his hands were nasty and don't touch her...then she took an automatic 16% tip..i wouldn't have given her any. very disappointed and won't be back. the food was great tho. so at least i enjoyed that. too bad my kids were freaking out after being starving and waiting 25 mins to get our order even taken.

great food & service. the best breakfast in the jackson area. everything on the plate was quality ingredients and the service was great. nice atmosphere also, jo's will be our new breakfast go-to place

they charge you extra for splitting a plate of food. we'll never eat there.

this restaurant won't let you "split entrees". we won't be going back. this state has the highest rate of obesity and that seems to be the case with this restaurants menu and rules.

loyal customer. i have been eating regularly at jo's for about 3 years. i was disappointed when they moved to their new location because they were very near my home but i still go as often as i can. they have delicious food and great service! if you go one time and give a bad review, shame on you because there must have been a real reason why. try them again and i am sure you will be pleased.

love that place.. my boyfriend and i stop by almost every week! the food is great, and the only time i've had a problem with the employees.. one waitress was very obvious about flirting with my boyfriend while on shift. whenever she came to our table, she spoke directly to him, and only him. she asked if he needed anything. it doesn't sound like a big deal.. but when we ordered our milkshakes, the waitress decorated his beautifully with syrup and whipped cream. mine was completely plain. she was very unprofessional. every other time i've gone to eat there, though, my waitresses were wonderful. especially the short redhead with the pretty eyes... she was very sweet and made sure we knew all our options (for our sides and milkshakes) and she was able to answer any questions we had.

great place!. i am so surprised to see the negative comments here! we have eaten here many many times and it is always delicious! the wait staff are teenagers who are usually very friendly. they really add to the atmosphere of a 50s diner! we really like jo's and will be eating there for dinner tonight!

racist & filthy!!!!. the male waiter served the older white couple before my wife and i. we were clearly there first. glasses are filthy. piss poor place for flowood. mcdonald's has better breakfast. i will never eat there again. very disappointing....

good food-horrible service. the food is good when it finally makes it to your table. but, don't expect all of your order to come at once. and don't expect management to help when you have a problem.

i am addicted to breakfast food, and jo's has the best omelettes in town. friendly staff too!

bad execution of a good concept. food was very inconsistent. some was terrible beyond description, other parts were very good . pancakes very dense. service started out fine, became downright rude.

jo's diner has the best breakfast, lunch and dinner in town for great prices!!! the staff is amazing and my kids love to eat there. i can't imagine this place getting any bad reviews. anywhere you go is going to have it's ups and downs, but jo's "ups" definitely outweigh its downs!!! if you want somewhere to take your family and don't want to spend an arm and a leg, this is the place to go!

blue jeans. nothing embodies the 50's diner experience more than denim and suddenly jo's has decided to ditch that for blahhhck pants?! cutest to worst dressed!

mediocre at best. i have eaten here twice in the past two weeks. my first order was the swiss mushroom burger which was a decent burger (kinda hard to mess up a burger).

my second visit and meal was fried chicken. the fried chicken was a frozen pre-breaded chicken breast. i was expecting real fried chicken "on the bone". the chicken breast was over fried and very dry. i also had greens, green beans and black eyed peas. the green beans and black eyed peas were good, but my greens were over cooked and a little dry. they need a little work here for me to revisit.

we haven't closed. we have relocated to 241 ridgeway in flowood. next door to el sombrero and georgia blue. we hope to see you soon!
