a pretty solid brunch spot. they have a build your own bloody mary menu and plenty of other libations to get your swerve on before noon. also...super big portions. i got a cobb salad which was basically the size of my head - which is much appreciated given the price i paid for it. nothing irks me more than small portions for brunch. i mean, i'm basically asking for two meals in one, right? pancakes looked fluffy, filling and satisfying...especially when served with la columbe coffee on the side. you know, to bring off the edge of that sweet mimosa you helped yourself to.

i love the comfort food feel of this place. everything i have every tried on the menu is delicious - some of my favorites are the devilled eggs, the grilled cheese, the macaroni and cheese, and the cobb salad.

what isn't to love about jones? my girlfriend and i strolled in on our first night in la, very late in the evening but found nothing less than exceptional here. gluten friendly options, one of the best spaghetti and meatball serves (second only to my mothers recipe of course), staff who were incredible and an atmosphere any establishment would kill for. when i visit west hollywood again, this will be on the list for sure!

if you want elevated diner food, this is the place to go. amazing matzoh ball soup, meatloaf, and chicken pot pie. definitely not for those on a diet, but everything is truly delicious.

came during their busy lunch hour, but didn't have to wait long at all for a table. the atmosphere is very cool and laid back--i loved the shag carpets! food was good, although nothing exceptional. i had a chicken sandwich with roasted peppers, mozzarella and pesto. my friend got french toast and was disappointed in the size of it (1 slice) for the price.

perfect for preshow meal. we went to jones before heading to the walnut street theater to see mary poppins. the alt sandwich was absolutely delicious! my mom had a chicken sandwich, my sister built her own salad and my niece had calamari and french fries. it was very busy, so it was a little loud, but there were plenty of menu choices, and the desserts looked fantastic too! can't wait to go back!

i think the fact that jones offered a late night happy hour kind of slipped my mind, actually, but when i remembered, it was game time! jones cafe is rock n' roll meets italian food meets hollywood. i used to go to jones for dates, meeting up with friends or just to grab a late night drink. the place is usually pretty packed and the same bartenders have been working there for years.the staff just oozes cool. it's dark inside, the booths have checkerboard tablecloths and the bar-side booths even have wire drapes - more for effect, i believe. the cafe part is adjacent to the bar, but i never seem to make it over there.

burgers, pierogis, mac and cheese - solid!!! ordered the pb&j - didn't get a pbr, but the paper bag was a truly sweet touch. to quote my kids, "give them 5,000 stars" to which my other child said, "this food is amazing and they are so nice too"

not worth a visit. serving brunch at 2pm should have been the first warning. the menu was limited to say the least and the offerings uninspiring. our server was slow, lethargic and inattentive. a total disappointment.

loved the ambiance, the service and food. we probably had the best table in the house and it was so enjoyable. our wait person - april - was top notch and knowledgeable about the menu. my crab cake was quite good, perhaps a bit heavy on the dill (i personally think the crab should be the star, particularly in an east coast cake) and my husband raved about the tuna. recommended.

the food here was amazing. the orichiette pasta was out of this world. the pot pie and bbq very good. only complaint would be that their soda selection was limited and my vodka tonic weak. i would recommend without reservation to anyone who asked

went for lunch & got the turkey burger, which was awful!! tasted like a pre-formed, processed meat patty that was probably frozen, not fresh & they topped it off with salty processed turkey bacon. i'm really confused as to how this place has great reviews & ratings, unless dinner is the time to go? seems like a tourist trap. over-priced & processed turkey burger

the seared tuna tacos were really good. the price was a little too high but the service and atmosphere made up for it.

nice family restaurant. jones restaurant is a great place to take families for a prompt lunch if you're in downtown philly. we were there for lunch on a saturday and the seating was prompt. the waitress was also reasonably attentive. the matzo soup and cobb salad were well prepared, and the grilled cheese sandwich was really good. a cheerful concurrent birthday celebration was going on at the time - lending a friendly community feel to the place - quite in keeping with its location about 1 block west of independence national park, at 700 chestnut. and the nice artwork and very high ceilings gave a cheerful and memorable feel to the place. furthermore, the cost for two for lunch including nonalcoholic beverages and the tip was moderate - at about $40.00.
