greathotchicken and great parm fries, but the ruin the good parm fries by serving them cold. if you ask politely or insistently forhotfries they give them to you cold. they don’t get it, that the french fries are bad cold.

other then kfc i had never hadhotchicken. although a franchise chain joella's doesn't disappoint. i had 3 jumbo chicken fingers with the tweeterhotand with bbq sauce. you can choose from 4-5 levels of hotness. i also had potato salad and green beans. another nice touch is fountain sodas they have. all are unique and tasty. this is a great place for lunch and it was crowded. highly recommend

went twice in a weekend while visiting l'ville. really enjoyed. had the quarter white,hotspice level, it was delicious. also had the chicken and pimento sammie, alsohotlevel. wow! as for sides, tried the parm garlic fries, mac n cheese and black eye pea salad. all were tasty. they serve beers in a can/bottle and boylen sodas on tap.

visited here recently for a sunday lunch with a friend and around 1 pm the place was packed. the line moved fast though but there's very limited seating inside on ahotday. service was friendly and food arrived fast to our table. i ordered my chickenhotand it was! the only bad part about having the chicken immersed in sauce is that the crust gets soggy. but the taste was still good. i thought the sides were as good as the chicken though.

joella's is delicious if nashville stylehotchicken is your thing (they have lots of different options so you can get anything from plain to sweet to barelyhotif if you want) ....on my last visit i got the fried chicken and pimento sandwich omg its great!!! (please give it a try)  .....my only negative is that i just dont like their fries, they are tiny, soggy with little taste (owners...please get with indies and borrow the recipe for their amazing wedges)

great flavored chicken with varying spice/heat levels. sure, they probably aren't the best athotchicken, but they do good at it. glad they brought the flavor of nashvillehotchicken around here.

this ishotchicken. not too oily, terrific crunch, and real depth of flavor--not just over-spiced heat. the sides are to kill for across the board, great beer selection, and i love the "old garage" ambiance. skip the other pretenders in town that are doused in thinly flavored pools of greasiness. joelle's isn't in nashville, but they could have invented the genre.

i've been to princes in nashville where hit chicken was invented. joellas has perfectedhotchicken. the place is a bit small but i have a feeling this business will expand to larger areas soon. the chicken is incredible but i really think the best part are the sides and homemade sauces like the ranch and jojo. really great place to eat in louisville

the best fried chicken in louisville! i love nashvillehotchicken and this is the best in town. great service and even better chicken. the best part is the chicken is really flavorful and not just hot.

hot chicken is very delicious and spicy. ella's fav was plenty of heat for me. tweener was a lil on thehotside for my taste but flavorful all the same. waffles were good but not as fresh as i'd liked. kale salad and slaw were great to help cut the heat. jojo's sauce is sweet and tangy. mac n cheese also good. can't wait until one closer to home opens!!!!

my first meal here was excellent. the second good. the third, meh. as others have mentioned the service is slow and you may or may not find a place to sit. the heat levels on the chicken are inconsistent: i've ordered the same (tweener) every time but one visit it's nothotat all, the next it makes me cry. they've also gotten our order wrong every single visit. i wrote it off at first but now it's just a joke. as much as i want to love this place, it no longer lives up to my expectations. and now that there are otherhotchicken options in town, joella's won't be my first choice.

hot chicken has finally caught fire in louisville in the name of joella'shotchicken. i've heard all about hattie b's in nashville and i've heard about people wrapped aroundhotchicken takeover in columbus. honestly, i haven't been to either one. after having joella'shotchicken i doubt i'll need to go. wow! says it all. when the chicken is so good you honestly can't compare it to anything you've ever had i think it's worth writing a review. ✔️🔥🐓
... and my goodness how do they make the kale salad?!? i've never complimented kale. it's so good though. is it healthy? i have no idea. i suspect it's not but it's kale so maybe it is??? go there. seriously.
