aweful lunch time service and bad customer service!. if you plan on going here for your lunch break you might as well forget about it, unless you have a least a couple of hours.
ordered a single piece of fish and chips and a club wrap. a half an hour goes by and the waiter comes out to tell us that they are having problems in the kitchen but they are going to have it ready as quick as possible. i ask him how long it will take because we only have a half an hour left for lunch. he tells me that they will try to be quick but there is a big party in another area. 15 minutes go by and we get up to leave. on the way out, i go up to the bar and tell themanagerand another waitress that we have to go back to work and to cancel our order. themanagerasks me if i was with the group sitting in one of the tables. i tell him no, it's just two of us in the booth. he then turned around and walked away not saying anything at all.
an apology would have bee nice!

poor customer service. it was 6:10 pm dec 19/13. we were told there were no tables available for 4 and it would be a 1/2 hour wait. i asked if there was room at the bar and if we could eat there. the reply from the hostess was yes. on our way to the bar (which was full) we noticed 2 separate fixed tables for 2. the hostess brought 2 more chairs as one table did not have any. as i stated, this was not a table for 4 as the tables were attached to the wall and not moveable. we sat there until 6;45 with no service. i noticed a table for 4 had been vacated so we moved there. we were told we could not sit there as it was reserved. i asked about another table for 4 which had been connected with another one to make a table for 8 where a lone man ( with a pitcher of beer and some menus...can you serve a pitcher of beer to one person?) had been sitting since we arrived. the hostess told me they had a 6 pm reservation. now it was 6:45. i asked her how long they hold a reservation and she looked dumbfounded. i then asked if i made a reservation for 5 pm and did not show up until 10 pm would my table still be available? she did not know how to respond. i asked her if i could speak to themanagerand she said he was downstairs and if i wanted to speak with him i could go down. i told themanagerabout the freed up table and the one with the gentleman and the 1/2 hour plus wait. i asked him how long they hold a reservation and his response " what do you want me to do kick him out, i can't do that. i see this is all about you" and off he stormed leaving me standing there. wow, now i was dumbfounded. seriously, that is how you handle a customer inquiry about your reservation policy? i never suggested he kick anyone out, i wanted to know their reservation policy and thought themanagercould have handled this much better. i have been in the customer service business for 40 years. needless to say, we left. wasted one hour there. proceeded to winks, got served right away and our food was ready in 15 minutes. the restaurant was full. by the way, we live within walking distance and were prepared for somewhat of a wait but not the disrespect or attitude themanagerdisplayed. hard to complain to the management about the management on their web page when the emails go to the manager.
