great place! food was very good - with big servings - all 3 of my sons walked away full and happy ( along with my wife and me). they were very helpful with the food allergies we have ( glueton free needed for our son). since everything is cooked fresh - they worked around the items that were an issue. will be a must stop for us in the future - bummed we did not find this place earlier in the trip!

very fast and very good!. great place to get good, healthy food in a hurry. nice atmosphere for an asian fast food place too. the owner is usually on hand as well which is nice to see.

best hibachi around. this is one of our 2 must haves on a mb vacation. the food is amazing every time we come! the lunch menu is a great deal or even the dinner for that fact! i would recommend this place to any and everyone for hibachi. the sushi is so so but you can't expect killer sushi from a fast food joint

great food and so much of it!. we were looking for a place where we could get japanese food at a decent price...the steakhouses charge so much and we didn't want the show...jimmy was fabulous! so much food that we brought half home for lunch. not greasy at all and the chicken was very tender. the shrimp sauce is amazing too, great choice.

awesome. cheap.. great delicious food. i always get the steak dinner hibachi, it comes with veggies, steak, and a ton of rice. love the mayo sauce. the sushi is ok if your looking for awesome sushi go to konos but for quick cheap delicious steak hibachi check this place out. the decor is less than stellar so be prepared for that. it can get busy at night so order ahead if your in a rush.

highly reccomended. i went to jimmyz last week, friend of mine had hiped it up saying how good it was so i decided to try it. id say i was freaking amazing especially at the price i paid. i know my steak for a girl and when i asked what grade they used they told me sterling silver!!! aka tendor juicy savory steak and filet. so i jumped on the steak my guy friend got the filet. it was so good. i eat there about three or four times a month now, hit up the drive thru last night actually. had it delivered to my work. the hipe about this restaraunt i found to be pretty accurate. portions are great, price is very reasonable. not to mention the guys in the back cooking are very good to look at................. yum ha ha p.s. worth visiting this restaraunt for sure.

a fantastic alternative to traditional sit-down hibachi, where you pay big for the presentation -- which is rarely original. jimmy'z was incredibly reasonable ($7.35 for a generous portion of hibachi chicken). the spicy tuna roll set it off perfectly. great job, jimmy.

not the best, not the worst. i can say good and not-so-good things about jimmyz. first, this would not be my first choice for dine-in japanese. however, this is about the only decent choice for drive-thru japanese. but, because everything is so fresh and cooked to order, that means that you will sit in your car and wait and wait and wait. i'll just have to make sure i call ahead next time and then go pick it up. we are hooked on the veggie bowls. have tried the chicken, steak, and shrimp, and they are all great. i was surprised at how tender the steak was. i don't know what that other reviewer ordered when they posted about the grease, but i would not use the word "greasy" to describe anything i've ever eaten here. at other places, i have to use soy sauce or teriaki sauce to make my food more palatable, but i don't have to add anything to the food from jimmyz. the price is good too. a veggie bowl is less than $6 before tax. we get food here about twice a month now, and it's always packed.

are you kidding me? these reviews must be written by friends and relatives of the owner. this food was nothing like any japanese food i have ever had. japanese is my favorite food btw. it was a huge portion of extremely greasy, i mean swimming in grease, noodles, garlic, meat and onions. those ingredients can be formulated into a good meal, but this was not good. not tasty and just plain gross. came with a side of mayonnaise based sauce in case there wasn't enough grease for ya.

great place. we found jimmyz by accident. we just happened to see the sign and thought we would try it. boy are we glad we did.
the food was delicious, the portions were just right and the price was very reasonable.
we liked it so much we are heading back there tonight. they also have drive-through and delivery to the area hotels.
this will be a regular stop for us when we visit myrtle beach.

gr8 fewd!. jimmyz og! i would recommend this place to anyone looking for good food..

very good steak and scallops! priced just right! locals populate the dining room. outdoor patio. big bang for the buck! will be back before vacation's end.

yummy!. i am a myrtle beach local and i have eaten at all the other hibachi restaurants. this one is by far the best one! great service, great food! highly recommmended! i had the tuna dinner plate which was cooked to order and pleasantly a bigger portion than expected. it was delicious. needless to say i will definately be coming back for more!
