time to give an update on this place. not sure what's going on but thefoodquality is definitely going downhill. my wife and i go there quite often until a few weeks ago. ordered nachos, dish arrived with liquid cheese sauce, disgusting taste. sent it back and asked for real cheese, dish came back with just a sprinkling of real cheddar. 

my daughter was there 2 nights ago with friends. three of them ordered the cheeseburger meals and got what looked like burgers from a fastfoodjoint. processed cheese, some kind of bacon. my daughter sent her's back and asked for a caesar salad instead. the other two guys ate there burgers out of hunger but also found thefoodterrible. manager removed the burger off the bill but did not apologize for the quality of food.

greatfoodgreat service had a perfect steak cooked to order. my son had same off of children menu. wife had great chicken salad. my sever was a pro great timing.

service was good andfoodwas delicious. i feel thefoodis a little overpriced but it is priced to compare with crazyhorse right next door. the sauced chicken fingers are amazing

menu is getting boring. i've been here countless times and thefoodhas generally been good. the past few times they've changed their menu up and taken some of the more interesting dishes off leaving it to be a boring chain like kelseys or milestones. the beer selection is vast but not varied. you might as well have 20 coors light taps. the beer selection is bad and thefoodis mediocre. won't be back for years if at all.

bestfoodand value in kanata.foodis always fresh and well presented. have tried most of the new restaurants that have popped up in kanata hoping to find somewhere to rave about but alas..... it wasn't to be....jack astor's beats them all hands down!

food is good but up sell on drinks is not appreciated. we have been to this restaurant a few times and each time our server has offered to up sell us on our beers. when we agreed, our larger glasses were brought to us but were not full....yet we were charged the extra. thefoodis good and servers are friendly though.

oh so good. first time here and it was oh so good, even tho i sat at the bar, service was amazing.foodis terrific and service is top notch.

there are the 'boston pizza' and 'montana' 'kelsey's' and 'east side mario's' in this world. and i'll be blunt, these aren't my cup of tea. you can feel the marketing reps at work from the moment you walk in; jack astor's offers that same overly-perky hostess and waitress, and the decor and theme are well calculated but the service is good and thefoodis average and above. i had chicken wings and california grilled chicken salad and starbucks coffee! yes! 7/10. if u r in the area worth a stop.

always good food.. we have always had goodfoodand service here.
great variety for everyone in the group.
the popcorn sundae ( i think that's what it is...maybe it has caramel in it?) was delicious.
fun atmosphere, and they have a great deal on movie tickets !

better, but not best. grabbed a quick dinner before heading to scotiabank place. the place was packed, which was to be expected. our waitress was aware that we were going to the show, so thefoodturn around time was pretty good. the menu offers a lot of variety.foodwas good... better than your average restaurant/pub style chain. i would probably go back (the burgers looked good).
