lovely food served by attentive and friendly staff!
i came here with my sister for brunch and we were greeted warmly by staff. i ordered the grilled french brioche + cappuccino and my sister got the crab omelette. coffee came out fast and was standard. the french toast was quite enjoyable and well balanced, not too sweet. the highlight for me was the crab omelette which was delicious! i highly recommend it! i hope to come back soon and try their other menu items!

sought out this place for weekend lunch with the partner, given the acclaimed reviews on zomato.

we ordered coffee and i had the taro latte (subtle but fun). the menu was extensive with many interesting-sounding options.
we decided on the 'tasmanian scallops with sweet potato fritters' and the 'mushroom and halloumi cheese burger with fries'. the fritter meal had interesting textures and flavours, albeit the fritters themselves were a little bland and dough-y. the burger was fresh and filling, with a side of crispy chips.
when we finished our meals, the staff surprised us with complimentary treats of fresh fruit topped with cream and popping candy (once again, fun and whimsical).

service was friendly and attentive. casual ambience - a simple, unassuming store front with indoor seating. reasonable prices.

overall, meets expectations - a lovely brunch place with interesting food options and efficient service.

definitely a great experience, the service was great, the presentation was amazing. the crab omelette is definitely a must try dish and the mushroom pesto is amazing!

a bit overpriced in my opinion, but the concept of the food was amazing, definitely one of the great brunch locations.

take a lot of pride in plating, all three dishes we ordered were well presented. presentation was not only on point, flavour was there to match as well. my cappuccino was definitely one of the best i have had in a long time. this place is a must try, worth the travel!

the cafe didn't look the best visually as compared to most cafes i've been to in brisbane but don't let its mediocre appearance mislead you. jacaranda coffee lane stands out as a asian fusion-inspired cafe that serves plenty of unique and original dishes.

the presentations of our crab omelette ciabatta and tasmanian scallops on sweet potato fritters were absolutely impeccable and looked amazing for cafe standard. both didn't disappoint in taste, they were super delish.

my friend feels that the matcha latte is a bit too sweet. as for my mocha, it was smooth and enough of chocolatey goodness.

service was impressive. the service staff would come by occasionally to make sure we're alright with our meals and if we needed anything else. we were even served a free fruit dessert to end our meal! everything was spot-on, this definitely won't be my last visit!

my wednesday starts at west end - already knowing where i'll be dining for breakfast, i enjoy my stroll; passing fruit markets and other early bird cafes :)

good morning jacaranda coffee lane, another new establishment that offers you breakfast foods, muffins, cake slices, espressos and smoothies. arriving at the cafe approx 9:50am, there were no customers (yet). i walked towards the counter and was acknowledged by a friendly staff who asked me if i was 'looking to take away or a table'. table of course and i was gestured to grab a seat anywhere.

jumping straight into foods, i went with their smoked salmon tartare on rye w/ poached eggs, ribbon cucumbers w/ wasabi&dill mayo, avocado salsa and citrus creme fraiche. my usual flat white on side :)

breakfast - let me start with poached eggs (cause that's the first thing i like to test out 🍳) nice and runny! avocado is always a love for me and when it's mixed with salsa it's even better. as per the ribbon cucumbers, i couldn't really taste the 'wasabi', the mayo was there though. together, was a light and enjoyable meal.

coffee - unfortunately, the coffee was rather weak for me and only served warm. (the staff asked me how the coffee was and i told him 'it's not bad, but next time i should ask for an extra shot' 👌🏻) couple minutes later, he came back to my table with an extra shot - 'this is for you' :)

so, to the staff there who may read this review, you have just gained a returning customer :) i appreciate your gesture, it was very kind of you!

i look forward to trying more items on the jacaranda menu as well as requesting for my coffee to be extra hot ☕️ friendly and polite staff :)

came in at 1:30 on a saturday and was about half-full. bright and clean, modern kind of feel. the food was excellent. i ordered the halloumi and mushroom burger ($13.50). best burger i've had in my life. super flavoursome while not being as salty and drowned in sauce as the miel ones. it had one big mushroom (portabello i believe), which was a pleasant surprise, because it had much more flavour and juiciness than the smaller counterpart (white button) i was expecting. the chips were also excellent and crispy.

ordered the black milk tea and it tasted exactly like bubble tea and came in a massive glass, which is an absolute bargain for $3.50. it was quite sweet though (like 75% sugar at least at a bubble tea place).

they had a lunch deal where you could get a free soft drink with anything on the lunch menu, and gave us little bowls of fruit and whipped cream for dessert (though i was too full to eat it and got my friend to eat two instead).

overall, super pleased with the experience and i can see why they're rated so highly on zomato.

extremely tasty dishes, amazing presentation of food, nice coffee and fancy drinks, outstanding customer services as well. this is definitely one of the best cafe food i have ever had, and i will keep coming back.

the breakfast here was amazing, they took tofu to a new level and really an amazing vietnamese twist which was sensational, if you go you must try the mapo tofu, also the service was really nice as well, probably one of my favourite breakfast places

hearty and tasty brunch with a very wide selection of food from around the world. fantastic coffee and drinks, best black sesame latte i have ever had in australia. very fair price without holiday surcharge. friendly service.

the decor needs to have a touch up but with the standard of food, it was not an issue.

the decor of this cafe is kind of random and very unassuming, though cosy and welcoming.

note that the asian-fusion dishes all skew pretty sweet, i would ask for less sweet if that’s not your thing.

the cafe doesn't look like too much, especially walking past from the outside but after the great reviews on zomato and trip advisor we thought we would check it out.

portion size was great, food was tasty, and the coffee was excellent. the small fruit bowl with popping candy and cream was an unexpected but welcome gesture as well. i would highly recommend this place.
