lovely food served by attentive and friendly staff!
i came here with my sister for brunch and we were greeted warmly by staff. iorderedthe grilled french brioche + cappuccino and my sister got the crab omelette. coffee came out fast and was standard. the french toast was quite enjoyable and well balanced, not too sweet. the highlight for me was the crab omelette which was delicious! i highly recommend it! i hope to come back soon and try their other menu items!

sought out this place for weekend lunch with the partner, given the acclaimed reviews on zomato.

weorderedcoffee and i had the taro latte (subtle but fun). the menu was extensive with many interesting-sounding options.
we decided on the 'tasmanian scallops with sweet potato fritters' and the 'mushroom and halloumi cheese burger with fries'. the fritter meal had interesting textures and flavours, albeit the fritters themselves were a little bland and dough-y. the burger was fresh and filling, with a side of crispy chips.
when we finished our meals, the staff surprised us with complimentary treats of fresh fruit topped with cream and popping candy (once again, fun and whimsical).

service was friendly and attentive. casual ambience - a simple, unassuming store front with indoor seating. reasonable prices.

overall, meets expectations - a lovely brunch place with interesting food options and efficient service.

take a lot of pride in plating, all three dishes weorderedwere well presented. presentation was not only on point, flavour was there to match as well. my cappuccino was definitely one of the best i have had in a long time. this place is a must try, worth the travel!

came in at 1:30 on a saturday and was about half-full. bright and clean, modern kind of feel. the food was excellent. iorderedthe halloumi and mushroom burger ($13.50). best burger i've had in my life. super flavoursome while not being as salty and drowned in sauce as the miel ones. it had one big mushroom (portabello i believe), which was a pleasant surprise, because it had much more flavour and juiciness than the smaller counterpart (white button) i was expecting. the chips were also excellent and crispy.

ordered the black milk tea and it tasted exactly like bubble tea and came in a massive glass, which is an absolute bargain for $3.50. it was quite sweet though (like 75% sugar at least at a bubble tea place).

they had a lunch deal where you could get a free soft drink with anything on the lunch menu, and gave us little bowls of fruit and whipped cream for dessert (though i was too full to eat it and got my friend to eat two instead).

overall, super pleased with the experience and i can see why they're rated so highly on zomato.

weorderedthe kung fu mapo tofu and pla goong. portions are decent, very filling. the kung fu mapo tofu are alright but, slightly too sweet for us. one of the egg is a little bit overcooked but the other one is perfect. for me the pla goong, presentation is amazing, flavour itself its a bit too sweet. iorderedthe chai which has a perfect kick to it. at the end of the meal, a small cup of fresh fruit was given as a complementary refreshment. great table service. overall, great experience but maybe not the place for me to come back all the time

absolute wonder! weordereda chocolate pancake and waffle! it was a quick service and while we had finished our meal we were given free fruits! the table next to us told that we would be coming back again and again to this restaurant and i think that’s true. very polite and friendly service! they kept checking on us. the sweetness was well balanced with the sourness of the fruits within the dish and overall it was really fresh. the presentation itself gave the dish an extra taste. but the seating space wasn’t ample and i could imagine the restaurant being packed on a busy sunday morning for breakfast. it was expensive but so good!

i visited jacaranda coffee lane friday morning. iorderedan oreo shake and the belgian waffle with berries. the shake was generously topped with whipped cream and oreos. and the waffles! so beautiful. served with two types of ice cream/sorbet, fresh berries, berry compote, freeze dried berries and fairy floss. the waffles were delicious on their own which i rarely find. the strawberry sorbet was fresh with the right amount of sweetness. i just loved it! if it wasn’t for zomato i could have easily walked by this cafe. so glad i found it! will be back to try the peanut butter chocolate pancakes, eggs benedict croissant, burger - all of it :d

the menu here is so interesting with some asian influence and i could not wait to dig in! they also have kids meal available andorderedthe 'scrambled eggs on cheesy toast' ($6.50) for grace. among other cafes, i think jacaranda has the best value for kids meal. as for myself, it was either the 'crab omelette and potato' versus the 'pla goong - chilli and garlic king prawn' and in the end, chose the former. this came with wrapped prawns on turkish bread with some drizzle of crab and prawn meat sauce, rice crisps and fried shallots. in honesty, i thought this was one of the best breakfast i had!

came across this cafe under 'recommended cafe's' that was down the road and it definitely did not disappoint. iorderedthe salmon benedict croissant - which was perfect! creamy hollandaise sauce and generous portion size.
my partnerorderedthe big breakfast plate with bacon and chorizo - fluffy and perfectly scrambled eggs, generous servings and delicious chutney.

both our meals and coffee was very enjoyable, we were also handed a cup of fruit as 'dessert' which i thought was really nice! what topped the experience off was the customer service, all the staffs working there was so nice, friendly and welcoming.

knew i wanted to run some errands in west end so i turned to zomato to tell me where to go for brunch! super busy cafe, but the service was still super friendly and attentive and we didn’t have to wait long to be seated at all!

iorderedthe pulled pork burger and the iced green tea and the bforderedtheir salt and pepper calamari and a flat white. such generous servings for both dishes for the price we paid which was really good! i thought my burger was a little dry but i still definitely enjoyed it :) when the waiters saw that we were finished with our meals, they gave complimentary desserts which was such a nice gesture!! fruits, whipped cream and popping candy was a really nice way to end our meal :)

overall pretty happy with our experience here - awesome service and hearty food! 🙌

a nice petite asian/western style cafe and restaurant. loved the combination of asian and western food. weordereda crab omelette and a kung fu tofu. the crab omelette was so tender and the prawns on the side were so crunchy, which was a nice touch to the tenderness. the sauce on top just took the whole dish up a level and did not overshadow the freshness of the crab at all. it was a long time since we have been last time, but i’m thinking about going back sometime soon. just miss the taste!

a cafe with a menu that is brimming with asian influences, jacaranda coffee lane really intrigued me. it’s high zomato rating and aesthetically pleasing pictures got me excited for a really interesting meal.

i wasn’t feeling very hungry that day, so iorderedan iced lemon black tea and something from the ‘light’ menu - a triple cheese and corn omelette. both items were nice, the omelette was really well cooked and the corn/cheese filling was quite creamy. the lemon tea was really refreshing and was a nice accompaniment to break up the thick texture of the omelette filling.

the service was really friendly and i liked the fruit cup - a nice complimentary touch! i would definitely come back as i’m interested in trying other menu items. enjoy 😊

i had a lovely time at jacaranda coffee lane. the cafe is small and unpretentious but with delicious food. iorderedthe pulled pork burger and the mango & peach smoothie, both of which were flavoursome. the asian fusion also makes for some unique menu items which is a bonus! the service was fantastic and i adored the complimentary fruit cups that were served after the meals. my mother also said she would highly recommend the iced coffee which was served deconstructed.

this little breakfast joint has everything to love about! the service, the food, the variety and the coffee. weorderedthe kaya filled brioche, lemon ricotta pancakes, mapo tofu and halloumi with pea mousse. when your food looks too pretty to eat, you know you’ve spotted a little gem! the kaya filled toast was a great balance of sweet from the kaya and bitter from the chocolate. the ricotta pancakes were just right and way too pretty. the mapo tofu was crunchy and my favourite! wasn’t a big fan of the pea mousse, but that’s just me. overall a great experience!
