this is hands down my go to place for koreanfriedchicken. it is a great place to go anytime - whether it be lunch or a midnight snack. it is a great place to drink in the company of a few friends too. their soju is not overpriced.

i typically order combo c with soy garlic chicken. did you know that you could substitute fries for rice at no extra charge? now you do! the chicken is very well seasoned here. in comparison to sfc, the chicken here is crispier (which i do love very much) and the flavors are balanced well. asides from chicken, their poutines are amazing. my favorites are the kimchi and bulgogi flavored ones!

the only downfall about this place is the limited seating. there are five tables total and sometimes there is nowhere to sit so i end up going elsewhere. this seems to be the case with allfriedchicken places, however. the atmosphere isn’t very different from a typical late night diner, but it’s not terrible.

overall, this place is definitely worth a try if you are interested in trying some edmonton exclusivefriedchicken!

thefriedchicken here is amazing. pretty much my go-to place when i have thefriedchicken cravings. seoulfriedchicken is good too but they lack any spicy flavors. i don't know what it is about the chicken that they use at itdog, but it's soooo tasty! usually i get the 5-piece chili or sweet&spicy. some times i'm feeling brave and get the hardcore chicken. warning: it's pretty friggin spicy. if you get the hardcore, make sure to get the sauce on the side so you are not regretting it after.

the hardcore poutine here is also one of my favorites.

i don't really recommend any of the hotdogs here. they are pricey and won't satisfy your hunger. if you want a hotdog, go to costco lol

a local garneau area fave. small location that you can't blink or you will miss driving down 109st. bulgogi poutine fries...surprisingly delicious. the sweet and salty combination is a great taste that was quite unexpected.friedchicken was also decent....but on the high side compared to otherfriedchicken places. blasting k-pop music on the speakers and tv was also interesting....

popped in here for a quick bite. this place is all about chicken and dogs. i was in the mood for chicken and was having a hard time choosing because everything on the menu sounded delicious, so i told the gentleman who was taking my order to surprise me. he said the soy garlic chicken was really popular, so sgc it was! and man it was good! i lovefriedchicken, i mean who doesn't!?!. but i am often disappointed when i order it - this chicken however was cooked to perfection! juicy inside and the batter was crispy and seasoned nicely - the perfect amount of sweet and salty. only complaint i have is the fries i was served appeared to be mccain crinkle fries.. which is a huge letdown at any restaurant, in my opinion. homemade fries are super easy to make so there's just no excuse for anything else. but when i look at the photos others have posted on here, the fries in those pics look totally different and appear homemade at that.. so perhaps they were just ran out of potatoes that day? here's hoping because then they would have scored a 5/5 from me.

some of the bestfriedchicken i have had! the hotdogs are tasty as well but i wish they had more condiment options. unfortunately, i am one of those people that likes to put everything and the kitchen sink on their hotdog. i was even surprised that there was no hot sauce for myfriedchicken. ah well. still tasty!

my boyfriend and i were roaming whyte avenue trying to look for seoulfriedchicken (we were both craving koreanfriedchicken), only to find out they were sold out of chicken and wouldn’t have anymore until 5:30. he had class at 6:00, so we settled on it dog just off of whyte avenue.

it dog is a “order at the counter and pick it up yourself” kinda place. it’s decorated with comic book posters and blasts kpop music all through out the restaurant. i settled on the “meal” ($9) which included 2 pieces of chicken, your choice of sauce, and fries or salad. their choices of salad were: coleslaw, macaroni and pickled radish. i chose macaroni and i was really craving rice (filipino problems), so i got a a side of rice for $2. i tried spicy mustard for my chicken, and paulo got sweet spicy. the chicken was perfectly fried, and smothered in our choses sauces. the macaroni salad i ordered lacked flavour, although the rice was surprisingly good as it was more on the sticky side.

perfect casual spot to grab a beer and eat koreanfriedchicken. they also have “dressed up” hotdogs for $8 such as butter chicken dog and kimchi dog. they also have poutine which i am excited to try next time!

first time we've tried this place, the food was pricey and almost inedible and incredibly salty. the bulgogi dog smelt like it had been in reheated from being in a smelly freezer, and the soy garlicfriedchicken was wellfriedbut bit too salty. too bad. had high hopes for this place :(

hot dogs andfriedchicken? why not? the place is a little cramped and if you go when it's busy, well good luck trying to get a seat. my girlfriend and i ordered some regularfriedchicken and 2 peach shrimp dogs. theirfriedchicken is delicious, nice and crunchy just the way it should be. i give them props on trying some new/putting a spin on things but execution needs a little work. pieces of butterfly peach shrimp don't really flow well on a hot dog, let alone trying to get a full bite without them constantly falling off. best eat them separate i guess. and the big issue here is the bun. they don't use a traditional hot dog bun, instead they use pretzel style hot dog buns. which are delicious but a little too dense and heavy for a hot dog.

the restaurant kind of had a funny smell to it when we walked in, but i got used to it after a little while. they have quite a few topping options, and you can switch from a hot dog to a smokie or bratwurst. i got a spicy chicken poutine, and can imagine that thefriedchicken is very good, just from the bit i got on the poutine. the place isn't fancy by any means, but good for grabbing some food for a casual meal.

it is fast food. definitely not the best koreanfriedchicken. although it does the job a will fill you up for less than 15$.

not the cleanest establishment either.
but nothing to worry about.
