should be called it'chicken. this place is really good, or at least half the menu is. the fried chicken here is the tops, and usurped my only recently crowned champion of edmonton's best fried chicken. the breading is crisp, the meat is juicy and tender, the flavour is out of this world! however, their flagship product; hotdogs are lackluster at best. despite using big juicy dogs and a cavalcade of interesting ingredients, these admittedly creative hot dogs are nothing more than novelty in practice. in each of the incarnations that i've tried, the hotdogs seemed to be missing a certain something, and always lacked unity. the hotdog often felt out of place, as if they threw together a hoagie and just decided to throw a hotdog in the mix as an afterthought. its like it has the "epic meal time" mentality that if you stackfoodon top of otherfoodit constitutes a coherent meal, and that the more out-of-left-field you get the better it is. on top of that, the price is crazy for what even a good hotdog will usually run you at. their most basic dog will run you at $5, meanwhile you can get a hotdog at costco that's just as good (or close to it) for $1.50, and that comes with a drink!
check this place out, enjoy the phenomenal fried chicken, its more than enough for me to recommend this place despite its kind of disappointing hotdogs.
