not great. ordered a hardcore dog and a veggie and a poutine. sat down with my gf and there was asian pop music playing which was ok but it was so load we couldn't sit anywhere near the tvs. sat down and waited for the order to come up and they put a order of fries and a hot dog up. we sat for another 5-10 minutes and the staff were all talking amongst them selves not doing anything. i walked up and they said your orders ready! i informed them that it wasn't what i ordered and they were nice enough about it and made thefoodwe had actually ordered. upon getting thefoodit was ok but nothing amazing or worth bragging about. the experience andfoodwas just poor enough to keep us from ever returning, but hey form your own opinion!

first time we've tried this place, thefoodwas pricey and almost inedible and incredibly salty. the bulgogi dog smelt like it had been in reheated from being in a smelly freezer, and the soy garlic fried chicken was well fried but bit too salty. too bad. had high hopes for this place :(

we were catching a movie across the street, so we decided to duck our heads inside here for a quick bite before the movie.

the place had one other table that was occupied.  they had some pretty great korean pop music videos playing on the tv screens that kept us entertained until ourfoodwas ready.

i ordered a peach shrimp dog.  i love peach shrimp, one of my favourite asian dishes in fact.  i was rather disappointed when it was presented with pineapple, not peaches.  if you had run out of peaches, maybe the menu should reflect that.

they are licensed but they don't have very much of a beer selection.

i may go back to try the chicken, but i am definitely not a fan of the hot dogs.

the restaurant kind of had a funny smell to it when we walked in, but i got used to it after a little while. they have quite a few topping options, and you can switch from a hot dog to a smokie or bratwurst. i got a spicy chicken poutine, and can imagine that the fried chicken is very good, just from the bit i got on the poutine. the place isn't fancy by any means, but good for grabbing somefoodfor a casual meal.

sounds like a tried and tested combo for comfortfoodgoodness (and coronary heart disease)…. which makes you wonder, where did it all go wrong?. well to start, $8 for a god-damned hot dog is pretty much highway robbery. hot dogs are supposed to be something that you eat when you can’t afford actual food.

come for the chicken. i've come here twice now and both times, with both my company, have we agreed that the hot dogs do not live up to the hype. they are certainly good but not so much as it doesn't leave you craving for it' dog and going out of your way to get here. the hot dogs are extremely large and way too filling for me. most of it has got to be because the pretzel buns are extremely dense so that really takes up your appetite. none of thefoodever comes out hot, just kind of room temperature. the chicken though as far as kfc (korean fried chicken) goes is no competition to wing chicx. although, the garlic soy chicken was still delicious. the flavor of the garlic and soy both came out really rich and complimented each other. there is also plenty of sauce on the bottom to dip your chicken in for added flavor. it was crispy with a little bit of a hint of spice to it. if i were to come back to it' dog again, it would be for the chicken. so for that sole reason alone, i'm going to rate it a thumbs up.

excellent. ate here for the first time today. had the hardcore dog, which was very good. an interesting take on hotdogs, they combine korean with hotdogs. not sure if thats actually a korean thing or just a north american thing. the fried chicken was amazing too, i had the sweet and spicy.

i will definitely come back and try something different. i think some of the negative reviews are from people who don't understand the restaurant's concept. thefoodpresentation is good and thefooditself is high quality.

the asian fusion hot dog craze has just hit edmonton! occupying the space which had previously belonged to badass jack's, the short walk from university campus to it' dog definitely makes this fastfoodjoint a hit among uni students. the menu is pretty sweet and straightforward. you have 11 hotdogs, 4 deep fried chicken choices to choose from and if you're feeling a bit more adventurous, you can order a bulgogi poutine or even kimchi pork poutine. with the lack of korean fried chicken in my life during these past 5 months in edmonton, you can imagine how i often i find myself craving for its greasy, oily, ultra-crunchy and salty goodness. we started off with two pieces of fried chicken each. fried chicken ($6.00): nope you're seeing right. that's three pieces. can you imagine the look of delight on our faces when we were all given three pieces instead of just two? how glorious and hypnotising does that chicken look? one bite into this perfect golden egg-shell like thin crust on the skin revealed an extremely tender and moist chicken, which was also really well seasoned. sweet mustard chicken ($7.00) even, with the sweet mustard sauce, the skin just crackled and crunched with every bite. it was amazing. sweet & spicy fried chicken ($7.00): this version comes drenched in a sticky sweet and chilli sauce which was perfect in that it was

should be called it'chicken. this place is really good, or at least half the menu is. the fried chicken here is the tops, and usurped my only recently crowned champion of edmonton's best fried chicken. the breading is crisp, the meat is juicy and tender, the flavour is out of this world! however, their flagship product; hotdogs are lackluster at best. despite using big juicy dogs and a cavalcade of interesting ingredients, these admittedly creative hot dogs are nothing more than novelty in practice. in each of the incarnations that i've tried, the hotdogs seemed to be missing a certain something, and always lacked unity. the hotdog often felt out of place, as if they threw together a hoagie and just decided to throw a hotdog in the mix as an afterthought. its like it has the "epic meal time" mentality that if you stackfoodon top of otherfoodit constitutes a coherent meal, and that the more out-of-left-field you get the better it is. on top of that, the price is crazy for what even a good hotdog will usually run you at. their most basic dog will run you at $5, meanwhile you can get a hotdog at costco that's just as good (or close to it) for $1.50, and that comes with a drink!
check this place out, enjoy the phenomenal fried chicken, its more than enough for me to recommend this place despite its kind of disappointing hotdogs.

great concept poor execution. just came home from it dog. we tried the bulgogi dog, fries, regular and sweet and spicy chicken, macaroni salad. first, the dog. chewy, very thick pretzel bun. sausage: rubbery texture and tasted microwaved. good toppings though. chicken: interesting panko style coating, my friend called the chicken"ok". i liked the red sauce but it did remind me of a bottled chinese red sauce for short ribs. fries: frozen nothing special. macaroni salad: just plain awful. too much mayo and 1 flavour predominating. verdict: i guess if you are really craving a hot dog and you are in the area, fine, but there are really excellentfoodplaces close by that can beat them at this game. suggestions: offer a softer bun, don't pre cook the dogs, maybe work on getting fresh cut fries. you can do better guys!!!!
