the restaurant kind of had a funny smell to it when we walked in, but i got used to it after a little while. they have quite a few topping options, and you can switch from a hot dog to a smokie or bratwurst. i got a spicy chicken poutine, and can imagine that the fried chicken is very good, just from the bit i got on the poutine. the place isn't fancy by any means, but good for grabbing some food for a casual meal.

i ordered 10pcs of chicken and i asked 5 thighs, 3 drumsticks and 2 wings. i paid $25 for take out.

they cut thighs into half and count as 1pc each. and i wondered they missed some pcs so i called the place. one of employee answered my phone call, she were saying the owner changed the rule as count one piece like that recently. i couldn't understand why, so i was keep asking. she seemed get irritated and saying that actually they usually don't count half thigh as one piece, but only people who asked for specific piece order, they count half piece as one pc. ( they never mention it when i order) she mentioned that they are going to sue me if i write on google review. and she just hung up when i was talking. and they ignored me on purpose when i call them again. employees were being rude and impolite. july 27th 2015, around 7pm. 2men and 1girl were working.

even the chicken was dry, not fresh,

i dont recommend this place at all.

worst experience ever.! they might sue me. do i have to hire a lawyer? lol

*two small pieces were counted as two thighs in the picture!!

i can’t help but believe that the minds behind it’ dog saw what a joint like japadog was doing and thought “hey, i can do that!” what’s frustrating is that the idea is half-baked and expensive. what bums me out on top of this is that it has potential, but there need to be tweaks made to the pricing and formula. i’ve talked to a number of people who are curious about the place but refuse to try it because they can’t wrap their heads around paying $7 to $10 for a hot dog, and after checking it out myself, i think there is some wisdom there

it is fast food. definitely not the best korean fried chicken. although it does the job a will fill you up for less than 15$.

not the cleanest establishment either.
but nothing to worry about.

i am late to the hot dog game in town. yes, i’ve known about it’ dog and the dog since they’ve opened a few months ago but both haven’t been on my priority list to check out. a few friends have gone previously and their impressions were lukewarm. well, i’m always in the whyte ave area these days and after 4.5 hours of straight tennis, i needed something to eat before i passed out from a lack of carbs consumed.

sounds like a tried and tested combo for comfort food goodness (and coronary heart disease)…. which makes you wonder, where did it all go wrong?. well to start, $8 for a god-damned hot dog is pretty much highway robbery. hot dogs are supposed to be something that you eat when you can’t afford actual food.

unbelievable!  got to try it' dog tonight.  was very excited to try it. and it was absolutely excellent!  loved it!  everything was great except the poutine.  we asked for and paid for the bulgogi poutine but we just received a regular poutine which was less than standards.  i'd suggest skipping the poutine - especially with a great poutine option right across the street.

went with a friend one afternoon, we had the mushroom dog, peach shrimp dog & kimchi pork poutine. i would go back for the poutine alone, it was extremely good. the hot dog buns were also very good. the wieners were pretty basic and the shrimp had a bitter taste.
i also didn't like the anime/loud music playing, it didn't really suit the atmosphere you associate with a restaurant. i would go back for a poutine to go though. mixed feelings on this place.

get your kfc here!. love this little joint! i got the beef rib dog for myself and a chili dog for my niece. also got an order of kfc! the dogs were good but the kfc was to die for. just awesome! they were crispy, hot and huge! couldn't finish the kfc so i brought it home. still tastes good after reheating them in the toaster oven. will come back again for the kfc!

chicken? it's all about the dogs!. contrary to most reviews i actually loved the hotdogs here! they are juicy, piled high, and served on a thick pretzel bun. the bolgogi dog is my suggestion for first timers. as for the chicken, it's crunchy, piping hot, and slathered in sauce-- pretty decent chicken. overall, expect to pay about $15 per person. free parking behind restaurant.

skip the dogs. get the chicken.. we had it dogs & bulgogi dogs and neither were impressive.

the juicy, crispy, sauced-up fried chicken, on the other hand, is great - and good value too. i will return here just for the chicken.

fried chicken was good. nice and crispy.

hot dog wasn't that great. despite being loaded with toppings, it tasted rather bland and flavourless. the bun also seemed too soft for a hot dog bun.

i don't mind going back but it'd only be for the chicken.

come for the chicken. i've come here twice now and both times, with both my company, have we agreed that the hot dogs do not live up to the hype. they are certainly good but not so much as it doesn't leave you craving for it' dog and going out of your way to get here. the hot dogs are extremely large and way too filling for me. most of it has got to be because the pretzel buns are extremely dense so that really takes up your appetite. none of the food ever comes out hot, just kind of room temperature. the chicken though as far as kfc (korean fried chicken) goes is no competition to wing chicx. although, the garlic soy chicken was still delicious. the flavor of the garlic and soy both came out really rich and complimented each other. there is also plenty of sauce on the bottom to dip your chicken in for added flavor. it was crispy with a little bit of a hint of spice to it. if i were to come back to it' dog again, it would be for the chicken. so for that sole reason alone, i'm going to rate it a thumbs up.
